Scam The Scammer Episode 163 - Yep, another friggin' Back Brace scam, but they have all the information *except* the correct Medicare number. Too bad, eh? Up first is "James" from " U.S. Pharmacy" supposedly in San Diego. He then passes Frankin to another "James", floor supervisor, who then offers to call back (YEAH!). Lucky you, the call-back is included at no additional cost!

ScamJam Episode 205 - Franklin's bad self emerges like we've never seen before in this multi-part episode. It begins with "Daniel" calling from "Health Pros" while Franklin is on a departing flight and gets threatened by flight attendants for talking on his phone. Next, "David" from "Preferred Pharmacy" doesn't have a scam for anyone named Jeff. Then, "Owen" from "Diabetic Health" won't cough up his company's secret phone number or even say what time it is right now and leaves Colonel Quigley stranded on the call, twice. The next day, "Daniel" calls from "Diabetic Health", makes a brief cameo, and then suddenly vaporizes. Our original "Daniel" from "Health Pros" calls back but Franklin can't find his medical info so the scam call gets rescheduled! Imagine that! "Daniel" faithfully calls again, but as always, there's some interruption that happens just as he's giving out his person medical information. Daniel is determined to make this scam happen and sits through some amazing crap from neighborhood kids, some guy on a horse named El Flatulente, and even the Walmart Kid Yodeler. Colonel Quigley isn't too happy either and things rapidly get out of hand!

ScamJam Episode 207 - This episode gets off to a rocky start, so to speak, and doesn't get much better with calls from "Bappi" with "Diabetic Health" followed by her co-scammer "Mia" who gets my wrath. Too many incoming scam calls in a row in one day. The next scam call at least has some substance, but by then I had to have Franklin deal with "Frank" from "Sky Trips Vacations" who's got all kind of unbelievable resort vacations for free. There's a reason they sound unbelievable as you'll hear...

ScamJam Episode 211- This episode is a compilation of three calls and you get to be the judge whether it was a successful scambait. Up first is "Eric" with "Card Services" who doesn't sound quite right, but maybe it's just me. Next is "James" with "Assured RX" and a follow-up call, which is odd as I've never spoken to these telepests before. But that's pretty typical in the scam world. Finally, we have "Greg Price" at "Reverse Mortgage Health Center" with a brand new scam, but when he transfers me to Verification Officer "Mike", the company changes name to "Reverse Mortgage Center". Neither show up in searches. What a surprise...

Scam The Scammer Episode 165 - I get SO many calls a day that posting just one causes a log jam. So you can experience one of my average days, here are three-in-a-row for your scambaiting pleasure! 1) "Mark" from "U.S. Pharmacy" shows us how to never get another medicare scam call again ever. Who would have thought? 2) "Angie" from "The Chimney Company" gives up WAY TOO easily. 3) Jeremiah is all ready to battle, but...

ScamJam Episode 206 - Energy consultant "Alex Thompson" calls with the common scam of grabbing electricity account info in order to switch customers to "Discount Power Inc" (877-259-7693). Incredibly, this is a real company but their Better Business Bureau reviews are overwhelmingly negative and even the actual power company warns about these calls. "Michael Johnson" is up next to close the deal except he becomes a bit foul-mouthed when the term "scam" is used. Parental discretion is advised.

Scam The Scammer Episode 094 - Telescamchick "Linda Edwards" from "Interest Rate Programs" calls Jeremiah while he's on a cruise with Isabella. "Linda" should sound familiar as she made her Scam The Scammer debut a few months ago on Episode 073 "The Greatest Generation" and now she's back, still working to pry away credit card info. Do you think she's heard of the Costa Concordia?

ScamJam Episode 194 - "Joseph" from Sky Trips Vacations (www.skytripsvacations.com)(800-798-8760) has an amazing deal for Jeremiah that gradually becomes less amazing as the call goes along. Things almost implode when he's called to the mat on how it went from "Complimentary" (aka FREE) to costing over $1000 but Jeremiah pulled him back and ended up talking to "Victor" who was ready to show how FREE would only cost $699. Such a deal!

ScamJam Episode 166 - Three bogus tech support scammers from "Cyber Security Of WWW Server" become freaked out by Jeremiah's computer issues, including breaking glass when the Windows key is pressed, a folder and file eating cockroach, and satanic "You've Got Mail" laughter, to name just a few. And it got worse as the call went along, causing Jeremiah to get more suspicious that these tech support people were making things worse. Repeated attempts to connect to the scammer's server failed as the super-natural computer weirdness increased, leading the scammers to concede that Jeremiah's computer needs a priest and exorcism. This episode is nearly an hour of the absurd and surreal. Have limited time and want to cut to my favorite parts? Use the shortcuts below: "It's making an All-You-Can-Eat-Buffet out of my files" (26:05) "Doesn't that sound like Satan?" (44:23) "My computer won't allow me to unplug it" (46:53)

ScamJam Episode 209 - First is some scammer I could barely understand from "Card Services". Thankfully he transfers the call to his senior financial advisor "Patrick" who says he works with Chase/VISA yet he runs like a bilge rat, as Colonel Quigley calls him, when we put his claim to the test. There apparently was a bit of improve in this episode as Franklin explains his drifting off the script.

Scam The Scammer Episode 056 - After a full WEEK of no scam calls, I was starting to think we got blacklisted by the scammers. Imagine that, a DO NOT CALL list they actually honor! Well, "Credit Card Services" called in the last minutes of Friday and surprised me so much I didn't have a bit ready and actually gave out Jeremiah's name without thinking! This is one of the BEST examples of why it's so important to NOT say the word "Yes" by itself, and Scam-Babe tries everything she can think of to hear that lovely word...

ScamJam Episode 212 - After a bit of a rocky start things improve with a call from snot nose "Tom Austin" from "Card member Services" who even provides their 800 number de heure: 800-621-9194 Tension soon forms as Tom and Franklin question each other's legitimacy. Would you call this a win, lose, or draw?
Scam The Scammer Episode 147A - In the world of scams, it's one thing to hear from someone with a foreign accent try to wrestle away credit card information. This two-episode scam, however, involves a U.S. based marketing firm, MMG, and a law firm, Commonwealth Law Group (www.cwservicing.com) taking abuse and intrusion to a whole new level. Yeah, and they call numbers on the Do Not Call Registry.

ScamJam Episode 203 - If you like the ScamJam characters then you'll surely like this episode as it features them all! "Philip" from "Genetic Advocate" announces that I'm already going to receive their fraud crap yet he still needs my (bogus) Medicare claim number. I'm really hoping to make this a character-based video since I'm bored with being me. The chance appeared next when "Steve" called from "Healthy America" asking for Franklin (Yeah!) the walking catalog of pain who has a pain "in my very lower back"! Perfect candidate for a back brace scam! But the show really gets into high gear when "Jones" (or as Jeremiah calls him "Jim Jones") calls asking for "Jeff". Too bad for him as he's got to get through the Franklin/Jeremiah/Uncle Carmine character SCAM-O-RAMA and "Jones" has to restart his pitch from the beginning for each one. Scamming sucks, doesn't it? LOL! Finally, "Kevin" from "Diabetic Health" gets to deal with Lakshit, who we learn had a prior career as beaching pilot at the Alang ship-breaking yard in India. Amazing information!

ScamJam Episode 213 - "Mike" from "First Choice Healthcare" starts off the series of medical scam calls on a noisy line and a closed mind. "Amazing Grace" from "Advanced Diabetic Care" in Canada sticks right to her script despite Jeremiah's alien abduction story (which she claims she already heard). Moments later comes "John" from "Diabetic Source" who sounds very unsure of his given name and doesn't last a minute in the ring with Franklin. I actually tried taking the next call myself and bungled it according to Franklin, who coached me on the proper way to say "hello". Imagine. "Ashley Steel" from "National Healthcare" in Hollywood Florida calls and we learn that it's important to say "PPO" and not "HMO" in order to get scammed. Unfortunately, Franklin answered the HMO/PPO question incorrectly but we did get Ashley's number: 863-161-0360. Woo hoo! Hopefully she's free this Friday!

ScamJam Episode 147B - This call came in 6 weeks later and it seems that these scammers aren't happy with Franklin Quigley. As it turns out, neither is Lakshit, who adds that Franklin is a deadbeat squatter tenant who doesn't pay rent. However, the scammers find themselves in the middle of a landlord/tenant dispute when they get Colonel Quigley on the phone and learn that a "party line" has nothing to do with beer or booze. We also learn that everybody records their calls!

Scam The Scammer Episode 114 - Telescamchick "Angela" pitches a classic bait-n-switch electric rate scam, but it quickly becomes apparent that this is her first day at the scam enter. This was a LONG, BORING call as she bumbled her way through the qualification process, asking co-workers for help and even putting me to sleep, so I did the unimaginable and hung up on her. Fortunately, all that lame stuff was edited out, and as a bonus, the scam-boss calls me back to close the deal and attempts to get valuable electric bill account information from Franklin P. Quigley.

This is truly one of the most absurd Scam The Scammer episodes, and it even had to be edited down from over 18 minutes to fit on YouTube. I nominate this one for the WTF Award...
Scam The Scammer Episode 172 - "Jacob" from "U.S. Pharmacy" follows up to get my Medicare information but won't answer my simple questions, like what is his address. Then "Nick" calls and tries his luck followed by "James Smith", floor supervisor, who I make listen to a recording of a previous scam call from "Benny" aka "Giggles The Scammer". This one is getting added to my faves list. Franklin P. Quigley fans will enjoy how the Colonel handles this mess.
