For many different reasons you may have decided to pursue a course of birth control pills, and for a variety of other reasons, you may have decided to stop taking them. However, when you stop taking "The Pill" you risk a major acne breakout. The good news is that it's treatable. In this episode of DermTV, Dr. Schultz discusses the causes of post birth control pill acne as well as how to treat post birth control pill acne. Subscribe to DermTV: http://www.youtube.com/dermtvdotcom http://DermTV.com Connect with DermTV: http://www.facebook.com/dermtv http://www.twitter.com/dermtv [TRANSCRIPT] There are lots of ways to treat acne breakouts, such as with topical skincare products, pills, and even treatments in a dermatologist's office. Amongst the pills, some birth control pills can control acne completely, and a few, like Ortho Tri-Cyclen, are even FDA approved for treating acne. But if you're taking an acne friendly birth control pill, and you decide to stop it, you risk a major acne breakout. Today I'll tell you how to treat it if it happens to you. Stopping birth control pills can cause major acne breakouts because the extra estrogens in the pill partially suppress your androgens, which are the hormones that cause excess oil production... and excess oil production is the root cause of acne. So stopping the Pill causes oil production to rapidly ramp up. Then add previously idle pore bacteria, which now have this new surge of oil to feast on, and the pus pimples and cysts are off and running, causing the exasperating outbreaks. Controlling this unwelcomed regression to aggressive adolescent acne often requires a three-pronged approach. First, you need a regular, topical routine consisting of an acne cleanser and toner, along with spot treatments for individual blemishes. These treatments can contain topical antibiotics, salicylic acid, resorcinol, benzoyl peroxide, or other pimple fighting ingredients. Also be sure to apply a light-weight glycolic serum or lotion to your entire face at bedtime to help prevent and treat clogs. Second, you'll probably need oral antibiotics to neutralize the pus and cyst-forming potential of the flourishing pore bacteria. And third, regular visits to a dermatologist to clean out clogs, pimples and cysts will result in faster control. Yes, you've substituted one pill for another, but the antibiotic is only temporary and can be discontinued after your post-Pill acne is finally under control. Which can take just a few months! [ABOUT DERMTV] Everyone can have beautiful, healthy, and younger looking skin, and DermTV, the Internet's daily skincare video show, will demonstrate how by revealing expert tips and techniques and by providing real solutions for real skincare issues. Researchers reported Wednesday that even newer lower-dose birth control pills raise a woman’s risk of breast cancer, although the actual danger is "quite small." Hormone-infused devices such as vaginal rings, implants and some IUDs also appear to raise the risk, although again not by much. It’s a disappointment to doctors who had hoped that lower doses of hormones in both oral and non-pill contraceptives might be safer than older birth control pills. But they stress there is no need for most women to abandon birth control pills for fear of breast cancer. Overall, the use of any hormone-based contraceptive for five years or more raised a woman’s risk of breast cancer by 20 percent. The risk of breast cancer ranged from a 9 percent increase among women who used birth control for a year or less, to a 38 percent greater risk if a woman used it for 10 years or more. https://www.nbcnews.com/health/health-news/even-modern-birth-control-pills-raise-breast-cancer-risk-n827086?cid=public-rss_20171206 http://www.wochit.com This video was produced by YT Wochit News using http://wochit.com

There are several side effects associated with the use of this pill. It is important to consult with your physician concerning the risks and also report any form of side effects immediately. This birth control pill is available in Europe, Asia and Canada. It is not available in the United States. What are the uses of the pills? What are the possible side effects? **What Are the Uses of Diane 35? The Diane 35 pills can be used for the following: Pregnancy prevention Treating symptoms associated with PMDD (premenstrual dysphoric disorder) in women who prefer using oral contraception methods Treatment of moderate acne in women above the age of 14 For women who experience painful, heavy and irregular periods **How does Diane 35 Work? Diane 35 pills are classified as oral contraceptives. This is a daily hormone intake that makes the body think that ovulation has begun. This ensures that eggs in the ovaries do not mature preventing them from being released each month. The hormones also thicken the mucus on the walls of the womb making it hard for sperm to cross to the womb for fertilization. The Diane 35 pills also make the lining of the uterus unsuitable for implantation of the egg in case fertilization occurs. **How Should You Take Diane 35 Pills? It is advisable to have a pill of Diane 35 every day with a glass of water. Make sure you take the medication at the same time each day. Each Diane 35 pills pack has 21 pills for 21 days every month. You are then allowed seven days off before you can begin taking the pills again. These seven days are the time you should have your menses. You are required to begin taking the pills on the eighth day even if you are still on your period. In case you experience diarrhea or vomiting within 4 hours of taking the pill, treat this as a missed dose. Use emergency contraceptive methods for the following seven days. The Diane 35 pills should be taken on a continuous basis for effectiveness. If Diane 35 pills are used for treatment of hirsutism or acne, you may have to take the pills for several months before the condition clears. Avoid using an additional contraception pills. This exposes you to over-dose of hormones. **How Long Should You Take Diane 35 Pills? It is important that you take the Diane 35 pills for as long as it is recommended by the doctor for effective contraception method or acne treatment. After a few months, the acne will disappear. However, for severe acne, you may be required to take the pills for longer. Even after the acne has healed, you may have to remain under the pill for a few more months. After these months have lapsed, you will be required to start using another type of contraceptive pill. My Instagram: http://instagram.com/vitalivesfree Hi guys! Today I'm talking about my experience taking birth control pills. At first, I thought they were the best thing that had ever happened to me because they gave me normal periods for the first time in my life, but as the time went by, I came to regret my choice bitterly. From nutrient deficiencies and low libido to depression - I wish somebody had shown me a video like this one when I was a teenager. Hope you find my story helpful, whether you're on the pill now or you're considering it. 10 Side Effects of Birth Control Pills that Your Doctor May Not Tell You Birth control pills, commonly referred to as “the pill,” are considered one of the safest methods to prevent unintended pregnancy. They are a highly effective contraceptive when taken correctly (at the same time daily). According to a 2012 National Health Statistics Reports, 62 percent of women of reproductive age were using contraception between 2006 and 2010. There are two types of contraceptive pills, both of which consist of synthetic forms of hormones produced naturally in the body. The pills either contain progestin alone or estrogen and progestin together. These hormones regulate a woman’s menstrual cycle, and their fluctuating levels play an essential role in fertility. Apart from preventing pregnancy, there are many pros of using birth control pills, including reduced menstrual cramping, regularity of menstrual cycle, acne-free skin, and lower risk of ovarian cysts as well as ovarian and endometrial cancer. However, birth control pills can have many side effects, which doctors may not tell you. Before starting on a pill, it is important to understand both the pros as well as the cons.

Watch more How to Pick a Birth Control Method videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/510802-Benefits-of-Birth-Control-Birth-Control Learn about the benefits of birth control in this Howcast video. Aside from preventing pregnancy, depending on the birth control option that you use, there are lots of benefits related to birth control use. Some of the pills that you use will make your periods very, very short and very light and predictable. They prevent endometrial and ovarian cancer. And if you're going on a cruise with your boyfriend and you decide you don't want to have your period that month, you can take the pills continuously, skip the placebo, and start a new pack of pills, and you don't get your period that month. And while that sounds strange and concerning that you don't get your period, it is perfectly safe to skip your period so long as you're taking your pills consistently. And there are other forms of birth control that you can use that can have the same benefits as well. My favorite benefit of birth control is what it does for your skin. The birth control options that have the best effect on your skin, meaning that you have the least amount of acne, are birth control options that have both estrogen and progesterone. These birth control options do wonderful things for your skin. The changes in your hormones that cause you to have changes in your skin are no longer a problem when you take combined hormonal birth control options.

10 Warning Signs of Cervical Cancer You Shouldn’t Ignore More than 40 years ago cervical cancer was a major cancer death risk for women. With the development of pap tests and in-depth recognition of warning signs those numbers are dropping significantly. We still aren’t completely safe however, as many thousands of American women are still affected by cervical cancer every year. Picking up on risk factors and warning signs could save an individual from a lifetime of suffering. Cervical Cancer Risk Factors Acknowledging the risk factors that make women more likely to contract cervical cancer will help women to reveal a greater insight to their cancer risk. Human Papilloma Virus Infection (HPV) – There are over a hundred different viruses grouped here and some are spread through skin contact and considered a stepping stone to cervical cancer. Detection of HPV is usually through the discovery of warts or pap smears. Food Intake – overweight women and women that have a diet devoid of essential nutrients from fruit and vegetables face a higher risk of cervical cancer. Birth Control Pills – The female hormones found in some oral contraceptives may provide some cancers with ideal breeding grounds. Also the risk of cervical cancer goes up the longer a woman takes oral contraceptives and doubles after 5 years of using them. Genetics – There are conflicting references regarding this issue. Some references claim that cervical cancer is something that can be passed down among family members, giving women with a genetic history of the cancer about 2-3 times more of a risk. However I’ve seen other references that claim that there is no genetic component to this type of cancer. HIV – The virus that causes AIDS damages the immune system and increases the risk risk for HPV infection. Chlamydia Infection – Women who show signs of past or current chlamydia infection have a higher risk of cervical cancer. Smoking – Women who smoke double their chances to get cervical cancer. It is believed that tobacco by-products damage the DNA of cervix cells, and may contribute to developing this cancer. Smoking also affects the immune system, making it harder to fight HPV infections. And indeed smoking is one of the top 10 habits to stop right now if you want to be healthy. Multiple pregnancies – Women who have had 3 or more full-term pregnancies have an increased risk of developing cervical cancer. No one really knows why this is true. First pregnancy at a young age – Women who were younger than 17 years when they had their first full-term pregnancy are almost 2 times more likely to get cervical cancer later in life than women who waited to get pregnant until they were 25 years or older. https://youtu.be/aKfrUcInaLU

This animated video is an informative presentation that talks about a birth control method for Men- Vasectomy. A vasectomy procedure is a permanent method of birth control for men also known as male permanent sterlisation, in which the surgeon cuts and seals off a section of the male reproductive tract in order to prevent sperm from exiting the man’s body during ejaculation. Vasectomy is one form of sterilisation. In a conventional vasectomy, a scalpel will be used to make a small incision on one side of your scrotum, the thin skin pouch that houses the testicles. Your physician will isolate the vas deferens and lift it through the incision. At this point you may feel a pulling sensation, the vas deferens will be cut and a small piece may be removed. Next, the newly cut end of the vas deferens will be tied, sealed with surgical clips or cauterised. The vas deferens will be returned to the scrotum and the incision is closed with the stitches. The same steps will be repeated on the other side of the scrotum. In the non-scalpel method, your doctor will use a special ringed instrument to hold and expose the vas deferens. From this point on the procedure will be the same as the conventional vasectomy. Watch the video to know more about Vasectomy. Long Term Side Effects Of Birth Control Pills | Birth Control Pills Side Effects Subscribe To Get New Videos Daily: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCi1zZ8_Q7yqKInXImLCLfXw Hormonal birth control has been available to American women since the early 1960s with the introduction of "the pill." Since then, birth control via hormones can also be accomplished with injections, patches, implants and rings, although pills remain the most popular method and the most studied. All hormonal methods are meant to maintain high levels of estrogen and progesterone, which prevent women from ovulating. Controversy exists over what side effects occur with long-term use of birth control pills. Sexual Side Effects: Although women usually take birth control pills to enhance their sexual experience, there is evidence that with long-term use, it may actually make it less enjoyable for many. In 2006, a study was published in the "Journal of Sexual Medicine" that concluded long-term use of birth control pills can lead to sexual dysfunction. Specifically, the researches commonly found decreased sexual desire, sexual arousal and vaginal secretions or lubrication in the 124 women on birth control pills who were studied. The women also reported reduced sexual satisfaction and an increase in sex-related pain because of the reduced lubrication. The same research team also took blood samples from the women and realized they had elevated globulin levels, which was chronically suppressing their testosterone levels. The researchers concluded that the synthetic estrogens in birth control pills may cause permanent changes in the way genes function, resulting in a long-lasting reduction in testosterone available to the body. Cancers: It is known that some cancers need sex hormones to thrive, which is why an increased risk of breast cancer has been linked to elevated estrogen levels in women. The National Cancer Institute states that some studies have shown an increased risk of breast cancer in women taking oral contraceptives, while other studies have shown no change in risk. Generally, women older than 45 years of age who have been taking birth control pills for most of their adult lives have the highest risk of breast cancer for two reasons: long-term consecutive use of the oral contraceptive and use of earlier versions that had higher levels of sex hormones. The National Cancer Institute also notes that oral contraceptive use has been shown to increase the risk of cervical cancer and liver cancer. On the other hand, multiple studies indicate a potential decrease in risk of ovarian and endometrial cancers for women on oral contraceptives. Other Long-Term Side Effects: Other long-term side effects from oral contraceptive use include an increased risk of blood clots, heart attack, stroke, weight gain, hypertension and migraine headaches. These effects seem to be increased by cigarette smoking. Long-term use of synthetic hormones has also been linked to nutritional deficiencies, such as low levels of vitamins B2, B6 and B12, depression and increased feelings of anxiety, according to "Hormone Replacement Therapy and The Brain." https://www.livestrong.com/article/17404-stop-nausea-caused-birth-control/ Music Source: www.bensound.com Watch Popular Videos : What You Need To Know About Signs and Symptoms of Gabapentin Withdrawal https://youtu.be/93aG9j10s5s What Does Gabapentin Withdrawal Feel Like ? https://youtu.be/AToP0DNHHYs Has Gabapentin Become a Drug of Abuse ? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e1tPvADoJeo Melissa McCarthy Stuns Fans With Drastic Weight Loss https://youtu.be/g4VPlcSQWUA 12 Korean Beauty Hacks For Flawless Skin https://youtu.be/8g6vJKceI_0 Find Us on Social Media : https://pinterest.com/susanbuck21/ https://selfhealthcures.blogspot.com https://selfhealthcures.tumblr.com Health Disclaimer: The information on this channel is only for educational purposes. To pill or not to pill? That is the question. Hormonal Birth Control Pills Hormonal or chemical birth control pills will be explained in this video, with the pros and cons of each type. But before I demonstrate the different types, I would like to explain to you how hormonal birth control pills work. When a lady is pregnant, ovulation (or egg release) does not occur. That’s how our body’s system normally works. The hormones in a woman’s body are balanced in a certain way that makes the hormones that stimulate the release of the eggs – called the ovulation hormones – to become inactive during pregnancy. So we thought: If we give the woman pregnancy hormones in pills, we will be able to inhibit ovulation, in other words: to stop it from happening, which, in turn, would prevent the pregnancy to occur. So the scientists decided to put the pregnancy hormone and the female hormone in a pill. This gives us an idea about the first type of birth control pills. This type consists of synthet-ic forms of hormones – the pregnancy hormone progesterone (called progestin) and the female hormone oestrogen. On the other hand there’s another type of birth control pills that consists of the pregnancy hormone only, and in a very small amount. It is called the mini Pill or the Progesterone-Only Pill (P.O.P.). The pills I will talk about are not the only hormonal birth control methods. We can take other forms of chemical or birth control at the doctor’s office, which would have the same mechanism of action. So, back to the pills. Let me explain them now. Let’s start with a combined pill. “Combined” because it has a combination of hormones. Let’s know more about it. The combined pill consists of progestin – a synthetic progester-one (the pregnancy hormone) – and oestrogen (the female hormone). You will need to take a pill daily for 21 days, starting from the 7th day of your menstruation. Even if you’re still bleeding, you must start using the pill. Take a pill daily for 21 days and stop the pill for 7 days, taking into consideration that your period cycle is 28 days. The combined pill is a good birth control choice in cases of: • You don’t mind to take hormones for birth control • You usually suffer from pains [I’m not sure about what comes here → 2:40] during menstruating, since it will ease the dysmenorrhea. • If your period is not regular, this will regulate it. • You bleed heavily during the period: it will decrease the amount of bleeding, which in turn might prevent you from becoming anaemic. • If you have acne: this might improve your skin condition. • You’re not a smoker The combined pills are not good if you … don’t wish to take any hormones … are Breastfeeding … are a heart patient … have hypertension or high blood pressure … have risk of thrombosis or atherosclerosis … have had diabetes for more than 20 years … have a liver or gall bladder disease … have a history of breast cancer in the past 5 years … are suffering from recurrent migraines or have the symptoms that proceed mi-graine, called the aura … are overweight … have been taking medications such as antibiotics, epilepsy medications or anti-depressants All these may weaken the effect of the combined pill. Always read the patient in-formation leaflets. This birth control method is 99% effective, on condition that the pill is taken on the same time every day. The other type is the mini Pill or the pill that... **I FORGOT TO MENTION: I am still using Rogaine! Although I experienced some good results with the product, it certainly isn't a miracle product, and I cannot credit it to my sudden resurgence of hair because that occurred only after I stopped taking spironolactone. I plan on continuing to use Rogaine until I use up my remaining supply, and I will be sure to update you all if anything in my hair routine for thin hair changes! T I M E L I N E : 2011 (17 years old): I discovered my hormone imbalance and began taking birth control and spironolactone to combat it. The plan was to check back in after 3 years to see my progress. 2011-2012 (17-18 years old): I lost A LOT of hair, but didn't really notice it/want to make a big deal out of it because I thought it was all part of the process. 2012-2015 (18-21 years old): I am away at college and studying abroad and am unable to follow up with the doctors about this pill regiment like we planned. Nevertheless, I continue to trust the process and believe that eventually things will get better. December 2015 (21 years old): I compare old pictures and realize that something has gone horribly wrong because my hair is much worse than it was before I started taking the pills. I do research and develop the hypothesis that the spironolactone is what was causing my hair loss. Early 2016 (21 years old): I see a dermatologist who does a biopsy of my scalp. The diagnosis was androgenic alopecia. I was not satisfied with this answer because I do not have a family history of hair loss. I continued to voice my desire to stop taking spironolactone, and we begin to wean me off of it. July 2016 (22 years old): I am completely off of spironolactone and have kept my birth control the same. July 2017 (23 years old): A year later, I see improvement. My hair appears to be making a comeback. My skin was quite bad for awhile, but seems to be evening out. My hormonal redness and breakouts have returned. Hormonal hair growth that had initially been eliminated with laser hair removal came back, but not to the same extent as before. My hair produces oil, which encourages hair growth. Overall, my body seems to be evening out! Sometime in 2020 (26 years old): I will update you all on my progress after a full hair growth cycle off of the spironolactone! Hey, friends! So the story of why my hair fell out is finally here! I know you all have been anxiously awaiting the answers that I have been searching for over the last year, and I really appreciate your patience! So, although this video explains why I have unusually thin hair, and although my hair is growing back, keep in mind that I will A L W A Y S have thin hair. Sadly, I will never have the thick mane of beautiful hair that I long for (I mean, really, did you see Carli Bybel's new video that features her hair?! GOALS, UNATTAINABLE GOALS), but thankfully my hair seems to be making a comeback! I hope this video can help those of you who are struggling with hair loss / female hair loss / androgenic alopecia / any kind of alopecia. I also hope this video can help those of you searching for a reason as to why your hair is falling out. Above all, I want this video to share my spironolactone and birth control and hair loss story for those of you who may be going through something similar. For me, spironolactone caused my hair loss, and I hope I can give you all some hope that your hair can recover from something like this! I look forward to updating you all on my hair regrowth process in the next few years. Like I said in the video, I don't want to focus on how thin my hair is anymore, so I am only going to revisit the thinness / thickness or my hair in 3 years (which is a hair growth cycle). I hope you all can understand and respect my perspective. Again, thank you for your patience! Please leave any remaining comments or questions you have down below!! Did you know all women (85 year life-span) have a 1 in 8 chance of getting breast cancer? Did you know taking a moderate to high dose of estrogen in your birth control pill increases that chance by 50%? That's 1 in 4 instead of 1 in 8!! This video is probably 90% SCIENCE and 10% religion. 5% of that religion comes from the basis of why I began researching this in the first place. After weeks of absorbing information, this stuff was what was most prevalent in my mind. You can only get pregnant ~5 days out of the month, the rest of the time it's literally IMPOSSIBLE! There's no egg there to fertilize! Natural Family Planning (NFP) is 99.4% effective and needs to be used more! It's what St. Theresa of Calcutta taught, and what the Missionaries of Charity are teaching today! I truly hope it is engaging for you and helps you understand the TRUE DANGERS of taking these hormone-altering drugs. Please watch and share - more women need to know this stuff! God bless you all, you're in my prayers. https://youtu.be/kMPtB5HLkw8 YouTube.com/MyCatholicPerspective Facebook.com/MyCatholicPerspective Instagram @MyCatholicPerspective Twitter @MyCatholicBrain

YAZ and Yasmin birth control pills and their generic offspring have made billions of dollars for pharmaceutical manufacturers advertising them not only for birth control, but as the antidote to acne and premenstrual problems. Tragically, thousands of young women have paid the price with lethal side effects ranging from blood clots to heart attacks, strokes, and sudden death.

http://www.clderm.com San Diego Dermatologist Dr. Goldman on Birth Control Dr. Goldman explains in this video some of the things that every woman should know about birth control. There are a lot of myths out there that need to be addressed and that is what Dr. Goldman does here in this video. For example, not every women will gain weight on every type of birth control and when they do, it is usually just from water retention. Also, while there are a few birth control pills out there that might make acne worse, there are more that can actually help clear up your skin. Dr. Goldman also addresses the importance of knowing that certain medications, such as antibiotics can decrease the effectiveness of the birth control pill. It is also important to know that while the birth control pill can reduce your risks of female cancers, such as ovarian cancers and cysts, it could increase your chances of developing liver cancer. This is the English Version of the video. You can watch the Bulgarian version by simply fallowing my page! Hi everyone - So I finally got my hands on Yasmin birth control pills for good or lets hope for good. I do have a hormonal dis-balance which I need to take care of and my gynecologists prescribed these to me. I want to mention that my problem is a light form of hersoitism and ovarian cysts that are considered hormonal dis balance. Now I am very sensitive to the male hormone in my body and I need to create more female hormones so that I can stop gaining weight or getting unwanted hair on places women shouldn't get. I wanted to start the course earlier but I was prescribed Diane 35 a different birth control pill that was not good for me. It made my lymph nodes swallen and very painfull an dmy menstrual cycle went really bad. So I wanted something lighter especially when I have lost my mom of breast cancer. I am still consernd about that though but I have no other choice than taking hormone pills. So If you have any diea what are the side effects, if you took them on a long run please share with me here your impression. That will not only help me but a lot of young women that are just starting to take Yasmin for first time. Thank you for the comments and have a blessed May - Natalie p.s. Anyone can develop this breast cancer, and it is still not clear what causes it. However, certain factors put you at a higher risk. Women who get annual mammography screenings are much less likely to die from breast cancer than those who do not. Although it is more common among women, men can also get breast cancer. Here are some important warning signs of breast cancer. 01:02 Lump in the Breast or Armpit. 02:05 Red or Swollen Breasts. 03:09 Nipple Discharge. 04:07 Pain in the Breast or Chest Area. 05:06 Changes in Breast Appearance. 06:03 Nipples Become Sensitive. 07:02 Itching on the Breasts. 08:01 Pain in the Upper Back, Shoulder and Neck. Feeling a lump in your breast or armpit may be the first warning sign of breast cancer. Such lumps are often hard and painless, though some may be painful. A lump under the armpit may feel hard or thick and dense as compared with the armpit on the other side. Do not panic when you notice a lump, as it is not always cancerous. A few common causes of breast lumps are hormonal changes in the body, a breast infection and fat necrosis (damaged tissue). It is important to have your doctor check out any new or suspicious lumps on your breasts to determine the cause. When breasts hurt, most women think it is due to premenstrual syndrome (PMS), and when breasts feel hot or appear red, they usually suspect an infection. Swollen breasts with soreness or redness might even be a sign of breast cancer. A tumor located underneath a breast can push on tissues, making the breast swollen and sore. In some cases, the swelling is more prominent under the arm or under the collarbone. If you have this symptom for more than a week, be sure to see a doctor. Discharge from your nipple without any squeezing or touching of the breast may make any women wonder. Other than breast milk, any kind of nipple discharge can be a warning sign of breast cancer. When a tumor starts in the milk ducts just under or around the nipple, it may cause irritation and infection, leading to discharge. If you notice any nipple discharge, particularly clear or bloody, get it checked by your doctor. Such discharge can also be due to an infection or other condition that needs treatment. If you have an ache, sharp stab or pain in the breast or chest area, it is not a good sign. Sharp pain that comes and goes or a mild electric sensation that you may experience from one breast to another may be a sign of breast cancer. A tumor located directly behind the nipple or in one of the milk ducts often causes pain and discomfort in the breast. Though not necessarily a warning sign of cancer, pain in the breast or chest area can be due to other serious health issues that may need treatment. At times, breast pain can be due to hormonal changes in the body, birth control pills, poorly fitting bras and stress. Any change in the shape or size of your breasts is a matter of concern. You also need to keep a close eye on dimpling, shrinkage and recent asymmetry of the breasts. Deep tissue growth in the breasts may affect their shape or size, leading to physical changes. As these changes are more about appearance than feel, you might become aware of such changes while looking at yourself in a mirror. http://getleantoday.com - Dr. Raj Banerjee shares the key differences between estrogen and progesterone. Steroids are a group of hormones that regulate body functions – and they are all derived from cholesterol. Or fat. That’s right, fat. Estrogen, which is usually the focus of HRT, is actually a generic term for three different forms of hormone called Estriol, Estrodiol and Estrone - Estrodiol being the most potent. Estrogen is called the female sex hormone because it regulates the menstrual cycle and causes thing to grow during puberty – Dr Raj likes estrogen because it creates curves and it also stimulates cell growth in preparation for pregnancy. Estrogen is a growth hormone. It has received a lot of bad press because people have been taking too much estrogen in the form of synthetic hormone for a long period of time. And any hormone you take in excess is going to cause problems. And a growth hormone like estrogen if you take too much of it. You are going to get excessive cell growth which is another term for what we call cancer. So its understandable, estrogen is not good or bad, but if you take too much estrogen its going to cause problems. Progesterone is the pro gestational hormone. It’s the hormone that keeps the uterine lining intact if you get pregnant. And its depleted when you are under stress. So the typical reaction is high stress, high cortisol levels when you are under stress and the depletion of the progesterone. Its pretty amazing what progestronine helps with. It helps protect from many of the negative effects of extra estrogen. It helps women sleep. It gives them better sex drive, better energy levels, makes your skin look better. It’s a wonderful hormone. If we compare them side-by-side, you’ll see that they counterbalance each other in many ways. There’s an ideal ratio between these two hormones. Estrogen given in too large of a dose can cause depression, headaches, it increases the risk of blood clotting and stroke. It causes the loss of many nutrients such as zink and copper. It interferes with oxygen levels. Again that in a person that is getting excessive estrogen which has basically been the history of menopausal treatment. Dr Raj wants to leave you with an important point to free yourself from chronic fatigue and pain and depression and overweight. Ovarian hormones do not spontaneously malfunction by themselves. The female hormones do not all of a sudden malfunction by themselves. They are responding to stress as a stress hormone called cortisol. Every molecule of cortisol that you produce comes from progesterone. When you are under stress guess what happens? Your cortisol goes up and your progesterone drops. Dr Raj wants to test your cortisol and fix it. And he wants to test your female hormone and fix your whole hormonal system at the same time and make all your symptoms go away. That will help eliminate depression and fatigue. Night sweats, hot flashes, mood swings etc. and it will improve your metabolism so you will able to start losing weight. OVARIAN CYSTS TREATMENTS An Open Letter to Any Woman Looking for Effective Relief From Ovarian Cyst Symptoms Without Resorting to Birth Control Pills, Pain Killers, or Surgery” http://www.mojoreview.club/ovarian Ovarian cysts are fluid-filled growths in a woman’s ovaries. The development of an ovarian cyst/s may happen in just one or both of the ovaries. Usually ovarian cysts are harmless and will go away on their own, but sometimes ovarian cysts can become so large that they rupture, or cause damage to the ovary. Very large ovarian cysts can cause displacement of the reproductive organs. Damage from a ruptured ovarian cyst may cause scar tissue build-up, and/or the formation of adhesions, attaching the ovary to other parts of the internal body. Ovarian cysts are most common in women of childbearing years, but can rarely develop in postmenopausal women. A woman’s ovaries are about the size and shape of an almond. It is amazing that something so small and delicate can hold thousands of eggs at birth. It is also quite amazing that something so small can develop a cyst. Thankfully, there are natural remedies that can help the body to rid itself of the cysts naturally, without surgery. Types of Ovarian Cysts Functional Ovarian Cysts A woman’s ovaries contain thousands of follicles that house immature eggs (ovum). During the menstrual cycle each month, as ovulation nears, a select number of follicles are signaled to grow (mature) for ovulation. An ovarian cyst that forms due to a malfunction in follicle maturation is known as a functional cyst. There are two types of functional cysts: Follicular cyst: This happens when the follicle fails to rupture and release the egg at ovulation, instead it continues to grow, forming a cyst. Corpus Luteum cyst: After ovulation, once the egg is released, the follicle changes to what is called the corpus luteum. The development of a corpus luteum cyst happens when the opening in the follicle where the egg was released seals off and then causes the corpus luteum to accumulate fluid and grow into a cyst. Other Types of Ovarian Cysts There are other types of cysts that form on the ovaries, but they are not related to the menstrual cycle. _________________________________________________________________ ovarian cysts treatments at home, ovarian cyst treatments alternative, ovary cyst treatments, ovarian cysts treatment options, ovarian cysts treatment natural, ovarian cysts treatment for pain, ovarian cysts treatment without surgery, ovarian cysts treatment during pregnancy, ovarian cysts treatment cost, ovarian cyst treatment guidelines, ovarian cysts symptoms, ovarian cysts pain, ovarian cysts causes, ovarian cysts cure, how to cure ovarian cysts, how to treat ovary cysts, _________________________________________________________________ Dermoid cyst: These cysts are considered complex and develop from cells that produce human eggs. Because of this, these types of cyst may contain hair, teeth, or skin. They are rarely cancerous. Cystadenomas: This type of cyst develops from ovarian tissue and is filled with liquid or mucous. Endometriomas: This type of cyst forms when displaced endometrial cells attach to the ovary and form a growth (endometriosis). This type of ovarian cyst is commonly called a chocolate cyst. Polycystic ovaries: A polycystic ovary develops many small cysts in a row, on the surface of the ovary, which looks like a strand of pearls. Polycystic ovaries are associated with Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome (PCOS). In the case of polycystic ovaries, the ovaries may become enlarged, typically twice the size of normal ovaries. PCOS is fast becoming a leading endocrine disorder among women. Not all women diagnosed with PCOS have ovaries that have these types of cysts. What Causes Ovarian Cysts? • Irregular menstrual cycles • Hormonal imbalance • Hypothyroidism • Cigarette smoking • Early menstruation (11 years or younger) • BMI above 30 • Infertility treatment with gonadotropins has been found to cause multiple large ovarian cysts in some women • Use of Clomiphene (Clomid, Serophene) has been shown to increase the risk for development of Corpus Luteum cysts • Use of Tamoxifen for breast cancer Signs and Symptoms of Ovarian Cysts Most women that have ovarian cysts don’t even know; typically there are no signs or symptoms. Most ovarian cysts are discovered during a routine physical exam. intro music Credits : http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/freemusictracks/aisearchtracks.aspx?stxt=intro Ending Voice : http://www.fromtexttospeech.com/ And http://www.accelerated-ideas.com/freemusictracks/aisearchtracks.aspx?stxt=intro Subscribe us: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCc-Np29NUqD7QBQVtMe2LeA/videos
