BIF 1: Michael Samuelson At BIF 1
Michael Samuelson at BIF-1 Vice President, Health and Wellness Services for Blue Cross Blue Shield Rhode Island, Samuelson's recognition of "wellness" redefines the boundaries of our current healthcare system. ABOUT MICHAEL SAMUELSON Michael Samuelson is the President & CEO of The Health & Wellness Institute, a health management solutions company focused on improving quality of life at three levels—individual, community and worksite. An advocate for the integration of prevention into every consumer touch point, Samuelson travels the US to help facilitate a dialogue on the difficult challenges and potential solutions for the healthcare industry. An educator at heart and by trade, Samuelson is also one of few men to be diagnosed with breast cancer. Told he'd never regain full use of his arm following a radical mastectomy, Samuelson asked his doctor if he could climb a mountain and was told that while it was possible, the chances for success were slim. Samuelson responded by trekking across a glacier and climbing 18,000 feet to the base camp of Mt. Everest and the Kumba Ice Falls. He is also the author of Voices From the Edge: Life Lessons From the Cancer Community. RECORDED LIVE BIF-1 Summit

The LCL Sub is the former Louisville & Nashville Railroad (L&N) "Short Line", originally the Louisville, Cincinnati & Lexington Railroad. On the (default) north camera can be seen the signal at the south end of La Grange siding, at milepost 27.0, and the siding is 8,330 feet in length (the north end of the siding is at milepost 28.8). In regards to that signal and approaching northbound trains, if the train is lined into the siding the signal with have a red-over-lunar (white) aspect, and if it's lined through on the main track the signal with display either a green-over-red or yellow (amber)-over-red aspect. The town gets 20-25+ CSX freight trains daily. It’s a designated quiet zone, but the crew can use the horns at their discretion. The speed limit for trains as they enter the street-running portion is 10 miles per hour (MPH), until the engines have cleared said street-running, at which point they are allowed to increase their speed to 20 MPH. There is no Amtrak service here. The last regularly scheduled passenger train on this line was the L&N's "Pan-American" in 1971. There is an ATCS layout available, but there is no server (data) coverage available, as CSX has transitioned away from radio code line (RCL) for switch-and-signal control, to satellite for switch-and-signal, with cellular/telephony backups. RCL is essential for ATCS data availability. There are 2 cameras available. The default camera faces north, and the other camera faces south. Desktop users can use the suitcase icon at the bottom of the video to toggle between the cams. For other devices, you can access the South cam here: https://youtu.be/8qRj7Hnz8UA When’s the next train? Yeah, we get this a lot. There’s no schedule for freight, but some of our more knowledgeable members will provide real-time information when it’s available. Please refrain from asking. Our Lady of the Lake: Bringing You Better Healthcare (30-second spot)
It's in our nature as humans to want something better. At Our Lady of the Lake, "better" is more than just a word. It's a mission. A mantra. A guiding principle that says we will never settle for care that is just "good enough." We won't rest as long as we know there might be something better out there; something that could make our community healthier and help our patients heal faster. That's our promise, because if we've learned one thing over the past 100 years, it's that healthcare works best when it is constantly striving to be better. Our Lady of the Lake is one of the largest private medical centers in Louisiana, with more than 700 licensed beds and an 11-parish service area. In a given year, Our Lady of the Lake treats more than 35,000 patients in the hospital and serves more than 350,000 persons through outpatient locations with the assistance of more than 1,000 physicians and 4,000 team members.

The Law of Mind in Action by Fenwicke L. Holmes
Support New Wellness Living and this 'New Thought Series': Via Paypal: paypal.com/cgi-bin/webscr?cmd=_s-xclick&hosted_button_id=PQRGZ58MG9EDA The Law of Mind in Action by Fenwicke L. Holmes, first published in 1919. Edited by Rev. Lux Newman & Quimby Society, 2008. Mind gives birth to thought and then uses its thought as the model of its creation, just as the artist conceives the idea of his picture and then uses the ingenuity of his brain and hand to picture forth its beauties in form and color. The mind, therefore, whether of the Universal or the Individual, has but one way to act, at the beginning of any series. It must act by thought. And thought, in turn, always expresses in words. We always think in concrete terms or words. So we are told by John, "In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The purpose of this book, in the main, is to show the various phases of the activity of this law - the Law of Creative Activity - by which the creative mind brings into form whatever we present to it, sufficiently forcefully, in thought. Fenwicke Lindsay Holmes was an American author, former Congregational minister, and Religious Science leader. The brother of Ernest Holmes, Fenwicke is widely recognized for being an important factor in the establishment of Religious Science and the founding of the United Centers for Spiritual Living. Fenwicke is recognized as an important figure in the development of the New Thought movement in Japan in particular Seicho-no-ie. Throughout his career Holmes served as a Congregational Church minister and as the pastor of a Divine Science Church. He and his brother Ernest created Uplift Magazine, which he served as the editor, and later, he was the president of the International College of Mental Science. Holmes wrote more than twenty books, lectured for fifty years around the world, and frequently spoke on radio and television. Works by Fenwicke Holmes include: (1917) Healing at a distance. (1919) The law of mind in action: Daily lessons and treatments in mental and spiritual science. Jazzybee Publishing. (2010 edition) (1919) How to develop faith that heals. Jazzybee Publishing. (2010 edition) (1919) The unfailing formula. (1919) Being and becoming; A book of lessons in the science of mind showing how to find the personal spirit. (1920) Practical healing. (1921) Songs of the silence and other poems. (1925) Text book in the science of mind: Psychology and metaphysics applied to everyday living. (1925) Religion and mental science: Lyrics of life and love. (1930) Joan's voices. (1934) How to solve your personal problem: The God-law and the key to power. (1938) Text book of practical healing. (1943) The "Just how course" in healing the mental science way. (1943) Healing treatments in verse. (1943) Tiny textbook of meditation and the Lord's prayer. (1949) Calm yourself: A key to serenity. (1951) Tiny textbook of mental healing. (with Masaharu Taniguchi) (1952) The science of faith: how to make yourself believe. (1953) Ernest Holmes: His life and times. Dodd, Mead and Company. There are only two religions in the world, Mystery Babylon and Christianity, and those of the Mystery Schools believe that Christianity is a perversion of their true religion and seek to destroy it. As the program progresses you will plainly see that Satan has carefully and deceitfully crafted a Pagan Religion of the Dying and Rising god that counterfeits the Religion of Christ BEFORE the advent of Christ, for Satan was not unaware of the prophecy of the coming Son of Man first prophesied in the Garden of Eden. #30: Mystery Babylon 2: Sun of God 53:04 Bill explores the Sun god of ancient times and paganism. #31: Mystery Babylon 3: Egyptian Magic 1:42:24 This is Part 3 in a series of live broadcasts by William Cooper on the Hour of the Time shortwave radio program on Mystery Babylon. Affordable HealthCare Network is a network of affordable medical providers in the Tampa Bay area. However most providers are in St. Petersburg, Florida. If you do not have insurance or if you have a high deductible check out the network. Why pay more for services if you do not have too? For example, if you need an MRI why pay thousands at a hospital when you could pay only $275 at Affordable Medical Imaging? This is just one example, visit www.ahcnoffl.com for more providers. Good Luck. For more videos and more information please visit my website: www.phillipsproductiongroup.com. Thank you!

The Victorious Attitude by Orison Swett Marden
Dr. Marden tells how we can live up to our potential just by changing our attitude, from the normal attitude of I CAN'T to one of I CAN! To do this we need to have faith in ourselves and shut out the negative forces that come into our lives. We have to stop the negative thoughts and not listen to the nay sayers. Once we find what we want to do we can't think it to death, just take the chance and don't procrastinate, don't let doubt interfer. It's difficult to do in the beginning but will soon become a habit and will make our lives so much easier and fulfilling. Chapter 1. Victorious Attitude - 00:00 Chapter 2. Where in health is disability? Public health practices to include people with disabilities
This session of Grand Rounds explored opportunities for optimal quality of life for individuals with disabilities. One in 6 adult Americans lives with a disability when defined by a limitation in function. Many are at higher risk for multiple chronic conditions, injuries, and increased vulnerability during disasters. Comparatively, people with disabilities are 4 times more likely to report their health to be fair/poor and 2.5 times more likely to have unmet health care needs than non-disabled peers. $400 billion is spent annually on disability-related health expenditures. Public health can help change this by promoting wellness and preventing disease in people with disabilities. CDC's approach for a population who experiences diverse functional limitations is to assure that mainstream public health surveys, programs, and policies include people with disabilities across the lifespan, a method that can be modeled by state and federal programs. This powerful session of Grand Rounds explored public health opportunities for disease prevention, intervention and improvement to enable people to live well with functional limitations. It also highlighted accomplishments of partners and public health agencies in creating and modifying health programs to accommodate people with disabilities. Road to Recovery June 2018: Taking on the Opioid Crisis
Taking on the Opioid Crisis: Aligning Federal, State, and Local Responses According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, the number of overdose deaths involving opioids has quadrupled since 1999.
