Why diabetes causes heart diseases & stroke?

03:44
Having diabetes means that you are more likely to develop heart disease and have a greater chance of a heart attack or a stroke. People with diabetes are also more likely to have certain conditions, or risk factors, that increase the chances of having heart disease or stroke, such as high blood pressure or high cholesterol. If you have diabetes, you can protect your heart and health by managing your blood glucose, also called blood sugar, as well as your blood pressure and cholesterol. If you smoke, get help to stop. What’s the root cause of heart attack and stroke? Diabetes, obesity, dental infections, osa...

11:53
Heart attack and stroke have many causes and risk factors, ranging from lifestyle, obesity, diabetes, hypertension, high cholesterol, inflammation, dental infections, stress, etc. Which of these is the real cause? Maybe it's a common factor, like the mitochondria and cellular respiration. The reality is that we do not know. Cellular respiration and the mitochondria theory can be helpful in terms of both research questions and lifestyle, treatment issues. The functional item is what comes of the knowledge. What can we do to prevent or reverse early disease? For example, we know that there are many things we can do to decrease disease: a proper diet, exercise, and specific medications when indicated. There are a couple of examples: ACE inhibitibors and insulin resistance. We know that ACE inhibitors and ARBs improve insulin resistance. ACE inhibitors improve inflammation as well, so we recommend those when the patient tolerates them. Beta blockers have been shown to improve life expectancy post cardiovascular event. But one thing we often don't think about is the fact that so much cardiovascular risk is driven by insulin resistance ( est 70%). If that's the case, should we consider beta blockers that have a positive impact on diabetes? I think so. But this is often ignored in the hurried medical practice. If you're on Toprol or metoprolol and have cardiovascular risk and diabetes, consider carvedilol or Coreg. About Dr. Brewer - Ford Brewer is a physician that started as an Emergency Doctor. After seeing too many patients coming in dead from early heart attacks, he went to Johns Hopkins to learn Preventive Medicine. He went on the run the post-graduate training program (residency) in Preventive Medicine at Hopkins. From there, he made a career of practicing and managing preventive medicine and primary care clinics. His later role in this area was Chief Medical Officer for Premise, which has over 500 primary care/ prevention clinics. He was also the Chief Medical Officer for MDLIVE, the second largest telemedicine company. More recently, he founded PrevMed, a heart attack, stroke, and diabetes prevention clinic. At PrevMed, we focus on heart attack and stroke and Type 2 diabetes prevention by reducing or eliminating risk through attentive care and state-of-the-art genetic testing, imaging, labs and telemedicine options. We serve patients who have already experienced an event as well as those have not developed a diagnosis or event. This Old Remedy "Heals All Diseases" HIV, AIDS, Diabetes, Cancer, Stroke, Sexually Transmitted Diseases, Arthritis and more ... Black seed oil, or Nigella Sativa, made its point in the medical world recently and had become one of the best items you could ever incorporate into your system. This miracle oil stimulates your immune system to fight against almost any illness you could encounter. Black cumin seeds discovered in Tutankhamun's Tomb. It has been named in the Bible as well as spoken by the Prophet Mohammad; however, they not thoroughly investigated until about forty years ago. Several scientists and universities have conducted more than 200 studies. The famous Greek doctor Dioscorides used the black cumin for the treatment of the headaches and the molars. Mohammad said that black cumin could cure all diseases, except death itself. What does black cumin provide with this ability? Within these tiny little seeds is contained a very complex chemical structure that includes more than a hundred different chemical components, such as abundant sources of essential fatty acids. Usually, the oil used for medicinal purposes, and the small spicy seeds utilized in the kitchen: curries, cakes, and Mediterranean cheeses. Surprisingly, these little seeds have been found excellent related to almost any other natural remedy when used for autoimmune diseases, which cause great suffering to the patient because these conditions caused their physical systems to fight itself. When combined with garlic, black seeds have touted as a harmonizer of imbalance that causes immune cells to attack and destroy healthy cells. Bearing in mind that these small seeds filled with so many curative components, and with a history as long as a cure, it is no surprise that many people in Asia and the Mediterranean understand that black cumin can combat anything that affects us. 7 Benefits of Black Seed Oil: 1. Combating cancer Thymoquinone, found in black cumin, is active cancer against cancer of the blood, kidneys, lungs, breast, prostate, liver, cervix and skin. As an antioxidant, it develops the body's defense system and induces apoptosis, which removes additional cells, and unhealthy cancer cells. 2. Function and health of the liver Black seed oil can significantly aid poor liver function affected by various medicinal side effects, alcohol consumption, or illness. This wonder oil helps the liver to work better, as well as preventing loss and disease. 3. Diabetes It also found that black seed oil causes the continuous regeneration of pancreatic beta cells, which increases decreased insulin levels and lowers high glucose. That makes black seed oil one of the only substances available on planet earth that is said to prevent type 1 and type 2 diabetes honestly. 4. Weight Loss As an anti-inflammatory, black seed oil is touted to aid in weight loss in the same way it helps to prevent and treat diabetes. Because it lowers the triggers of weight gain, black seed oil has helped millions of people with weight loss. 5. Hair Growth This brilliant oil can restore hair loss. Unfortunately, it not fully understood what causes this unusual side effect, but the antioxidant and antimicrobial properties apparently have a lot to do with it. By strengthening the hair follicles, it promotes increased and healthy hair roots. 6. Skin Since it inhibits the production of melanin, black seed oil is wonderfully beneficial for cells that promote healthier skin. 7. Superbug Infections (MRSA) Methicillin-resistant Staphylococcus aureus (MRSA) is a highly fatal and damaging disease that can associate with major surgery, intravenous tubing, and artificial joint implants. Luckily, black seed oil is known for its ability to slow down or stop MRSA from spreading too far out of control. With all the medicinal benefits contained in black seed oil, we do not even have to think about why the natural healing community has become so hurt. In consideration of their ability to cure almost anything, there is no reason why every human being on planet earth should not have this in their medicine. Stay healthy and positive! 6 Signs Of A Stroke People Often Ignore. https://youtu.be/Infcj-XkdNQ =================== 6 Signs Of A Stroke People Often Ignore. A stroke occurs when a blood vessel in the brain either fits blocked (Ischemic) or begins bleeding (Hemorrhagic), both of which can cause critical damage to the brain and even death. A stroke can occur to anyone at any time, and if it doesn’t kill you, it might cause severe physical and mental injury like paralysis, difficulty thinking or understanding others, and blindness. HERE ARE 6 SIGNS OF A STROKE PEOPLE OFTEN IGNORE: 1. FATIGUE. The body is a fragile balance of water, chemicals, and hormones. When that equilibrium is disrupted, it can make the sudden onset of symptoms like fatigue. 2. VISION PROBLEMS IN ONE EYE. 3. NUMBNESS OR WEAKNESS IN ONE ARM. 4. SLURRED SPEECH AND DIZZINESS. 5. DIFFICULTY THINKING. A stroke means that a part of your brain is being weakened of oxygen and can make you be unable to focus or remember straight. 6. A BAD HEADACHE OR a MIGRAINE. ......................... PREVENT DIABETES, Treats STROKES & Alzheimer with ONE Simple Plant! HELP Regulates BLOOD PRESSURE

11:42
The Plant That Prevents Strokes, Diabetes & Alzheimer’s Disease Throughout history, people have referred to it as the Tree of Life, King of the Trees and the Immortal Tree. Then, in 1854, the humble olive tree made its way into the field of medicine. It’s been digging its roots into that field ever since. Today, we recognize the olive leaf as a powerful elixir capable of treating and preventing a number of common diseases. The active ingredient in olive leaves goes by the name of oleuropein. Manufacturers actually remove oleuropein from olives; if you want to get your hands on it you’ll need olive oil or olive leaves. Believe me, you will want to get your hands on it after learning about the many benefits it provides. Benefit #1 – It Treats Infections According to Dr. Ronald Hoffman, there is considerable evidence proving that olive leaf can help fight the following: Influenza The common cold Candida infections Meningitis Herpes 1 & 2 Shingles Pneumonia Gonorrhea Malaria If you’re particularly susceptible to viruses, Dr. Hoffman says you might benefit from daily long-term use of olive leaf. This is because the active ingredient oleuropein is a very potent anti-bacterial, anti-fungal and anti-inflammatory compound. In other words, it strengthens your body against the main causes of illness. You can buy olive leaf in whole form to make a tea or you can get it in extract form for a more powerful, concentrated dose. Benefit #2 – It Regulates Blood Pressure In one study, researchers observed oleuropein significantly reducing participants’ high blood pressure. The compound brought their readings from 137 mmHg to 126 mmHg (systolic) and from 80 mmHg to 76 mmHg (diastolic) in just 8 weeks. The researchers believe olive leaf extract works by “inhibiting angiotensin-converting enzyme.” In non-jargon, that would sound something like this: Olive leaf extract relaxes your artery walls and reduces your blood pressure so you’re much less likely to have a stroke or other heart-related event. Benefit #3 – It Prevents & Treats Diabetes You don’t have to look too hard for stats that show the average American could really use this benefit. Greek researchers observing olive leaf extract discovered it reduces the body’s production of advanced glycation end products. Having a high level of these products is a major risk factor for diabetes. For those with existing diabetes, olive leaf extract has a hyperglycemic effect, reducing your body’s blood-sugar levels. Benefit #4 – It Prevents Alzheimer’s Let’s jump back to advanced glycation end products for a moment. In addition to causing diabetes, those pesky compounds are a major factor in the development of Alzheimer’s disease. So, when oleuropein eradicates advanced glycation end products it does some serious reduction to your Alzheimer’s risk as well. As an added bonus, oleuropein is also a very powerful antioxidant. This matters because oxidative damage is another major risk factor for Alzheimer’s disease. Do you use olive leaf or olive leaf extract? Let us know how it’s helped you! Only 2 Ingredients And You Can Say Goodbye To Diabetes Forever! No More Medications And Insulin!!! Diabetes is a chronic condition that occurs when the body isn’t able to produce or use insulin properly anymore. Insulin is a hormone produced by the pancreas which is released in order to control the blood sugar levels and allow glucose to enter cells and be converted to energy. Diabetes is a serious disease that may result in potentially life-threatening complications. Diabetes patients can lead a relatively normal life. The treatment includes insulin shots and a healthy diet, but you should know that the disease is treatable with some natural remedies as well. The remedy we have for you today is cheap and effective and works much better than any kind of diabetes drugs. It consists of only 2 ingredients you probably already have in your kitchen, and can be prepared in just minutes. Here’s what you need to do: Ingredients 300 gr. of celery 6 lemons Preparation Wash the celery first and grate it in a container, then squeeze the lemon juice over it. Now, close the container and add it to another container full of water, then bring the water to a boil, reduce the heat and simmer on a low temperature for a couple of hours. Next, remove the container from the heat and leave it to cool down, thentransfer the mixture into a jar and keep it in the fridge. You should take a tablespoon of the remedy every morning half an hour before breakfast. One serving of the remedy should last up for 2 months, and should be enough to regulate your blood sugar levels. how to cure diabetes, diabetes, diabetes treatment, how to prevent diabetes, reversing diabetes, how to control diabetes, home remedies for diabetes, health tips, healthy life, healthy lifestyle, hypertension, food for diabetics, how to control sugar, blood pressure, high blood pressure, cure for diabetes, how to avoid diabetes, home remedies

http://diabetestruth247.com/ - Diabetic heart attack symptoms - What are heart attack symptoms in diabetics? Diabetes increases the risk of having a heart attack or stroke, as well as the risk of blockages in arteries leading to the legs or kidneys. Additionally, diabetes can change the symptoms of a heart attack, making the heart attack harder to diagnose. Diabetes increases the risk of having a heart attack, but it may also change the symptoms and make diagnosis more difficult. Because of nerve damage, people with diabetes may not have typical chest pain during a heart attack. Instead, people with may experience milder chest pressure or sudden shortness of breath or sweating, or even an unexplainable change in blood glucose levels. Fact: More Than 75% of Diabetics Die Of Heart Disease… Nearly half of those who die from heart attacks each year never showed prior symptoms of heart disease. WHAT IS EYE STROKE Eye Stroke Symptoms Risks and Treatment

11:07
WHAT IS EYE STROKE Eye Stroke Symptoms Risks and Treatment. Sudden vision loss without pain is the most common symptom of a stroke involving your eye. An eye stroke, or anterior ischemic optic neuropathy (AION), is a condition in which blood flow either becomes blocked or reduced to the tissues of the front part of the optic nerve. An eye stroke can cause sudden loss of peripheral vision, distorted vision, and blind spots in your vision, and while it may be frightening, prompt medical attention can prevent or limit vision loss. Did I Have an Eye Stroke? People with eye stroke are usually given little warning. Most people with eye stroke notice a loss of vision in one eye upon waking in the morning, with no pain. Some people notice a dark area or shadow in their vision that affects the upper or lower half of their visual field. Other symptoms include loss of visual contrast and light sensitivity. Diagnosing Eye Stroke If your doctor suspects eye stroke, he or she will review your medical history and ask about cardiovascular disease and conditions you may have such as diabetes, hypertension, or high cholesterol. Your blood pressure will be measured, as well as your central visual acuity and visual field. Your doctor will usually dilate your eyes to examine your optic nerve and retina. Your doctor will also examine your optic nerve to check for pale color or possibly optic disc swelling. Your normal eye will be compared to the affected eye to detect changes. Your doctor will also carefully rule out artertic ION (a serious eye stroke affecting the optic nerve) and ask about symptoms such as fever, headache, scalp tenderness, jaw pain, weight loss, loss of appetite, and fatigue, so be prepared to discuss these points. Types of Occlusions Depending on the area of the eye where blood flow becomes blocked or reduced, the following occlusions may occur. Central Retinal Artery Occlusion (CRAO): This occlusion usually occurs with sudden, profound vision loss in one eye, with no pain. It occurs in the retina. Central Retinal Vein Occlusion (CRVO): Usually causing sudden, painless vision loss that can be mild or severe, this blockage occurs in the central retinal vein where it enters the eye. Branch Retinal Artery Occlusion (BRAO): This blockage is usually painless and occurs suddenly. The patient usually loses peripheral vision, and sometimes central vision as well. Underlying causes includes narrowing of the carotid artery, high blood pressure, cholesterol disorders, and/or cardiac disease. Branch Retinal Vein Occlusion (BRVO): This type of blockage causes bleeding and clotting along the retinal vein It may result in decreased vision, peripheral vision loss, distorted vision, or blind spots. This type involves one eye and may be caused by high blood pressure or diabetes. What Can Cause an Eye Stroke? Eye stroke is caused by poor circulation in the blood vessels that supply the front portion of the optic nerve. The optic nerve is the cable that connects the brain to the eye and carries millions of nerve fibers and blood vessels. Although an eye stroke can occur from a total blockage of a blood vessel that feeds the optic nerve, it is more commonly caused by a lack of pressure or perfusion of the tissue. Blood pressure may change relative to the eye pressure and the normal flow of blood is reduced. If the optic nerve's nutrient and oxygen supply is cut off, nerve tissue is damaged and lost, resulting in vision loss. Are You at Risk? Eye stroke is more common in middle-aged people and the elderly. Approximately 10 percent of patients that are affected with anterior ischemic optic neuropathy are under the age of 45. Cardiovascular disease raises your risk for developing the disease. In some patients with cardiovascular disease, blood pressure falls markedly while sleeping. This low blood pressure reduces circulation through those arteries, increasing the chance of eye stroke, so reducing your risk of cardiovascular disease can overall help reduce your risk for eye stroke. Some physicians also feel that newer, more powerful anti-hypertensive medications may reduce blood pressure too low when sleeping, putting people at risk for eye stroke, so make sure to discuss with your doctor if you are on an anti-hypertensive and concerned. There may be a different option available for you. Certain optic disc shapes can also raise your risk of eye stroke. Nerve fibers that travel to the brain and down the optic nerve must enter the eye through a hole called the optic foramen. If this hole is smaller than average, the nerve fibers can become crowded. When they become crowded, the risk of developing an occlusion increases.Although the relationship is not well understood, people who have significant cardiovascular disease and also take the drug Viagra are more at risk for the disease..

Top 10 Worst Foods For Diabetes

08:09
Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases in which there are high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. If left untreated, diabetes can cause many serious long-term complications which include heart disease, stroke, chronic kidney failure, foot ulcers, and damage to the eyes.Control of blood pressure and maintaining proper foot care are important for people with the disease. The most important factor that affects both type 1 and type 2 diabetes is diet, and a well-planned diet can work effectively in maintaining blood glucose at healthy levels. Here we have a list of top 10 worst foods that every diabetics should avoid. White rice White rice can affect your blood sugar levels. According to a newly study published by Harvard researchers, those who ate the highest amounts of white rice had a 27% higher risk of diabetes than those who ate the least. Potatoes Potatoes are not a good food choice for diabetics due to a relatively low nutrient density and high levels of quickly absorbed carbohydrates. It has a high glycemic index value, which means that the carbohydrate in them is quickly converted to glucose when digested, and can cause blood sugar and insulin levels to rise. It is also associated with an increased risk of type 2 diabetes. Cakes and Pastries. Cakes and pastries are not good for diabetics as they are loaded with sugar, sodium, junky white flour and preservatives. Their dangerous combo of sugar and refined flour spikes blood sugar and promotes inflammation, which interferes with insulin’s ability to function properly. Soft Drinks and Energy Drinks. Soft drinks and energy drinks are the worst type of drink for diabetics, they are loaded with calories that lead to weight gain and people who are overweight are at a higher risk of developing diabetes compared to those with the healthy weight. French Fries French fries are starchy vegetables that have a worst impact on your blood sugar levels. These fries soak a lot of oil and lead to excess weight gain. A small, 85-gram serving of fast-food French fries contains 33 grams of carbohydrates, including 3 grams of fiber. Raisins Raisins contain a concentrated level of sugars, which will be quickly absorbed by the body and lead to a sudden spike in blood glucose level that is extremely harmful to people suffering from diabetes. White Bread White bread is made with white flour that contain refined starch, which is one of the most dangerous foods for diabetics. These refined carbohydrates have a high glycemic index that causes a rapid rise in blood sugar levels, which is extremely harmful to diabetic patients. Palm oil Palm oil contain high amount of saturated fat that raises blood cholesterol levels. High blood cholesterol is a risk factor for heart disease. People with diabetes are at high risk of heart disease and limiting your saturated fat can help lower your risk of having a heart attack or stroke. Coffee Drinks Coffee contain caffeine which has been shown in the short term to increase both glucose and insulin levels. Because of this, people with diabetes should be cautious when consuming coffee. Fruit Juices People with diabetes need to moderate their fruit juice intake as larger glasses of juice can substantially raise blood sugar levels. Regular consumption of fruit juice has been linked with an increase in type 2 diabetes risk.

Is stress a major cause of diabetes (and heart attack, stroke & dementia)? - FORD BREWER MD MPH

He told me he thinks most type 2 diabetes is due to recurring stress. He went through the neuro-anatomy of the cortex of the brain - to the thalamux, hypothalamus, pituitary and pineal glands. For example, the pineal gland releases melatonin to cause sleep. The hypothalamus/pituitary area releases ACTH, or adreno-cortico -trophic hormone, which causes stimulation of the adrenal gland. The adrenal gland, in turn, creates epinephrine, or adrenaline, and cortisol. Cortisol creates a short term diabetic state: even though blood glucose is high, the liver is creating and releasing more glucose into the blood. Adrenaline, or epinephrine, creates a short-term "fight-or-flight" episode. Cortisol creates the same biological conditions, but is more long acting. With daily stimulation of the hypothalamus and adrenals, creating more, and more cortisol. Chronic cortisol release, according to this neuro-endocrinologist, is the cause of most diabetes - and therefore heart attacks, strokes and dementia. Control diabetes to help prevent strokes

00:50
A stroke happens when a clot or rupture interrupts blood flow to the brain, causing brain cells to die. Strokes kill more than 133,000 Americans every year and are the leading cause of serious, long-term disability. May is recognized nationally as American Stroke Month, and according to the American Heart/American Stroke Association, 80 percent of strokes are preventable. High blood pressure is the most important controllable risk factor, but diabetes plays a major role as well. Type 1 and 2 diabetes both raise a person’s risk for having a stroke, so it is important to manage the disease through regular blood sugar checks and healthy lifestyle choices. Being able to recognize a stroke in a timely manner is essential because a large percentage of strokes are treatable with the right immediate care. Symptoms of a stroke can include fatigue, vertigo, loss of balance, blurred vision, vision loss, difficulty speaking, numbness and weakness. Central Texas Medical Center (CTMC) is a certified Primary Stroke Center, which means our program meets critical elements of performance to achieve long-term success in improving outcomes for stroke patients. Every two years, the hospital is reviewed to maintain its Primary Stroke Center status. Visit ctmcheart.com for more information about CTMC’s cardiac and stroke services. Top 10 Foods for Diabetes Control

05:38
Diabetes is a group of metabolic diseases in which there are high blood sugar levels over a prolonged period. Symptoms of high blood sugar include frequent urination, increased thirst, and increased hunger. If left untreated, diabetes can cause many serious long-term complications include heart disease, stroke, chronic kidney failure, foot ulcers, and damage to the eyes. What you eat can help you to control and fight your diabetes. Research proves that making a few key changes to your diet such as eating more produce, fewer refined carbohydrates, plenty of lean protein can help in improving your blood-sugar and cuts the risk of diabetes-related complications. Certain foods are packed with nutrients that stabilise blood sugar levels, protect your heart, and even save your vision from the damaging effects of diabetes. These top 10 foods can help you in controlling Diabetes. Spinach The American Diabetes Association calls spinach a diabetes super food and recommends that you regularly include this dark green leafy non-starchy vegetable in your diet. Besides being rich in vitamins, minerals and phytochemicals, spinach possesses a low glycemic index, which means eating it will help support healthy and stable blood glucose levels. Spinach is low in carbohydrates, containing only 0.83 grams per cup. The fact that spinach contains so few carbohydrates makes it an excellent choice on a diabetes diet. Broccoli Broccoli contains a compound called sulforaphane, which triggers several anti-inflammatory processes that improve blood sugar control and protect blood vessels from the cardiovascular damage that’s often a consequence of diabetes. Olive oil Olive oil is recognized as one of the healthiest edible oils since it contains less saturated fats. It is rich in Omega 9 and Omega 3 which help maintain the flexibility of blood vessels, allowing good blood flow. Olive oil, especially extra virgin, contains tyrosol phenolic compounds such as oleuropein and oleocanthal. These compounds are nature’s most powerful anti-oxidants. Sweet potatoes Sweet potatoes are a good carbohydrate choice for diabetics. The glycemic index of sweet potatoes is a lot lower, which is better for diabetes control, according to a 2002 article in the "American Journal of Clinical Nutrition." Eating sweet potatoes in moderate amounts will help you keep your blood sugar levels in the healthy range even if you have diabetes. Avocados Avocados are an excellent choice for people with diabetes because they are very rich in dietary fiber, vitamins, and minerals and packed with numerous health benefiting plant nutrients. Blueberries Blueberries contain both insoluble fiber (which “flushes” fat out of your system) and soluble fiber (which slows down the emptying of your stomach, and improves blood sugar control). It also contain a natural plant compound known as anthocyanins. Scientists believe these may help lower blood sugar by boosting insulin production. Tomatoes Tomatoes are an excellent source of vitamin C, vitamin A, and vitamin K. They are also a very good source of, potassium, manganese, dietary fiber, chromium, and vitamin B1. Because of their low carbohydrate content, tomatoes can play a big role in controlling blood sugar levels. The low carbohydrate content also helps lower calorie intake and can help diabetics to lose weight. Eggs Eggs are a versatile food and a great source of protein, and the American Diabetes Association considers eggs an excellent choice for people with diabetes. Cinnamon Cinnamon spice has the highest anti-oxidant strength of all the food sources in nature. Many studies show that consumption of one teaspoon cinnamon to three teaspoons a day has a positive effect on reducing blood glucose levels. It was found that the cinnamon can make your cells more sensitive to insulin. Dates Dates are a great choice for a person with diabetes as they can help control sugar cravings, and they are low on the glycemic index. The carbohydrates in dates provide instant energy, and the high fiber contained in dates is good for digestion. This sweet desert fruit is cholesterol and fat free therefore, they serve as a great snack item. Many essential disease protective minerals are also present in dates.

Cinnamon: does it prevent heart attack, stroke, cancer, diabetes?

09:21
The debate on Cinnamon continues. There is little evidence that it impacts cholesterol or HgA1c. But there are several studies indicating that it may improve fasting glucose levels. For prediabetics, it's the post-meal glucose values that are the problem, not fasting glucose values. In addition, the most recent Cochrane meta-analysis did not support any impact at all from cinnamon on any cholesterol or glucose values. So, why take cinnamon? It's cheap ($3/month). You might enjoy those occasional cinnamon burps. And maybe it will turn out to help. But if you do take it, you may want to make sure to look for ceylon, burmanii, or cassia. These are all really the same thing. Korintje cinnamon is different. Although it's not known, there has been far less research on this. This Popular Food Causes Diabetes, Heart Disease And Stroke - Healthy Life

This Popular Food Causes Diabetes, Heart Disease And Stroke - Healthy Life !! Many people are aware that ramen instant noodles are not healthy but still there are individuals who are denying that they can harm their health. They are quite cheap so most of the college kids consume instant noodles. Did you know that eating ramen and instant noodles every day could lead to heart attacks? Yes! Not only do they ruin your health and lead you to death but also cause several other life threatening diseases that could take over your life any day. Ramen and instant noodles are also one of the biggest reasons why so many people are obese today. You can find out more about them in this post! WHY DOES RAMEN NOODLES CAUSE HEART DISEASE? Ramen noodles are proven to contain Tertiary-butyl hydroquinone (TBHQ,). It is a food additive and a byproduct of the petroleum industry which is used in preserving cheap processed food. A gastrointestinal specialist used lapse video inside the stomach to see what will happen after two hours of consuming instant noodles. The results were devastating. Unlike homemade noodles, the processed noodles were not digested properly. This prevents nutrient absorption and also in this way the preservatives stay longer in the stomach before they end up in the intestines and are eliminated. What’s Bad about Instant Noodles? They are made of wheat flour, palm oil, sugar and salt. But they also contain artificial flavoring and color. Their flavored packets contain powdered salt, seasonings, sugar and monosodium glutamate. We all know that artificial colors and flavors destroy our body and so the high sodium content and processed wheat are only cherry on top of this delicious bowl of food. Instant noodles contain over 2,700 mg of sodium. This product may be delicious and cheap but you should avoid it for good especially if you want to preserve your heart and overall health. Conclusion: South Korea is familiar by the high number of instant noodle consumers in the world. A research conveyed in this country showed that in 11,000 individuals those who consumed more instant noodles were more prone to diabetes, stroke and metabolic syndrome. So pay more attention to what your family and children consume. Try to prepare homemade food like homemade paste or snacks. If you liked this Video, share it with your friends and family.

Diabetes Complications - Is There A Link Between Diabetes And Hypertension

http://goo.gl/QCJ9b0 - How to reverse diabetes! Turns out, the diabetes industry is selling us fake research! Hi! I'm robo-Suzie and today I'll talk to you about Is There A Link Between Diabetes And Hypertension. Also don't forget to check out the link below, to find out, how this guy reversed his diabetes! Turns out, the diabetes industry is selling us fake research! But back to our topic. You are maintaining a healthy lifestyle of diet and exercise. You are checking your blood sugar levels and they are within target range. Your A1C is less than 7%. You are scheduled to see your healthcare provider for your routine visit. You're feeling good. "Everything looks good, it's just that your blood pressure has risen over the last few months", you're healthcare provider reports, "We are going to have to start you on blood pressure medications." You're bewildered. How can this be? Everything seemed to be going well. Why have you just been diagnosed with hypertension? Is there a link between diabetes and hypertension? The short answer to this question for people living with type 2 diabetes is YES. The link is explained by what clinicians call metabolic syndrome. I know that this word may mean very little to you. But this information is very important for anyone living with type 2 diabetes. I am going to explain what this means in as simple terms as possible. It is my intention that the knowledge is presented in an easy to understand format. That way you are better able to take action. It is only by taking action that you can live powerfully with diabetes. So let's dive right back into what is metabolic syndrome and how it links diabetes and hypertension. What is metabolic syndrome? Metabolic syndrome is a group of characteristics. It is not really medical illness. The important thing is that these characteristics put you at an increased risk for developing certain diseases. These diseases include type 2 diabetes, hypertension and heart disease. Metabolic syndrome is also called metabolic X syndrome, syndrome X and also insulin resistance syndrome. Most clinical experts define metabolic syndrome as having three or more of any of the following: Obesity in the abdomen. Greater than 32 inches in women and 38 inches in men. High fasting blood sugar levels more than 100-125 mg/dl A high blood pressure of more than 130/85 mm hg or if you are taking blood pressure medication. A high triglyceride level of more than 150 mg/dl or a low HDL level of less than 40 mg/dl. The prevalence of Metabolic Syndrome. More than 2/3rd of the adult American population is either overweight or obese. The number of people with metabolic syndrome has risen just as the obesity epidemic in this country. Currently that rate is at 34% of the adult population. The following factors put you at risk for developing metabolic syndrome: Being overweight. In other words a BMI of more than 25. Smoking. Eating a diet that is high in carbohydrates. Smoking. Lack of exercise. Menopause. Family history of diabetes or metabolic syndrome. Increasing age. What health risks are associated with Metabolic Syndrome? People with metabolic syndrome are more likely to develop type 2 diabetes. They are also at risk for developing cardiovascular disease. Cardiovascular disease consists of several diseases. I like to compare the cardiovascular system to the plumbing system in your house. Your symptoms depend on what part of the arteries gets clogged up. Cholesterol gets deposited in the arteries as fatty plaques. When the arteries in the heart get clogged up with plaque, this is called coronary artery disease. If the plaque collects in the blood vessels in the brain, it is called cerebrovascular disease and can cause a stroke.
