Please consult a health care professional for all mental and physical healthcare needs. I, Noah T (in this video) have been diagnosed with an anxiety disorder by my medical doctor and have been legally prescribed clonazepam by my physician to use as needed for my anxiety. I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined. I immediately could not work and had to move in with my parents who, along with many siblings and friends, had to watch me 24/7 as I was a danger to myself. Eventually I was hospitalized in the Psych Ward for a week. Getting through each day seemed truly unbearable and I knew I would surely die. I have been put on many many different SSRI's SNRI's Tricyclics, Mood stabilizers, anti psychotics, holistic meds, acupuncture and even a form of shock therapy called RTMS. I barely saw any improvement in my condition for a full year. It was decided I had treatment resistant depression and I spent nearly every moment in tears. Weeks after starting my newest round of medications (Seroquel & Nortryptaline) as a last ditch effort, I had my blood drawn for possible hormone imbalances and my Testosterone levels came back 200 ng/Dl and 150 ng/Dl. The average 25 year old male has 750 ng/Dl. With this discovery I for the first time had any type of possible explanation as to why I was not getting better and why I might be so so sick. The symptoms of such Low T are very similar to those of major depression. I started Testosterone replacement therapy soon after and have been checking in with the world and documenting my experience with treatment as well as giving my insight and perspective on various topics of mental health. I am blessed to say that I have slowly, over the last 5 years, been improving and becoming more stable which I never thought to be possible. My low T manifested itself in the form of Major depression, anxiety, and depersonalization/ derealization for over a year. Treating my low testosterone has been 1 HUGE part of the puzzle but I have had to continue to work hard to hold on to my mental stability with many set backs. Gaining some mental stability back is nothing short of a miracle as I was near death for what felt like forever. I do not consider myself to be totally healed yet but I am closer now then ever before and aim to use what I have been through to help or at least offer support to others in need I was able to successfully come off my Seroquel and Pamelor. I work out all the time as a part of my mental health recovery!!! Weight training and all kinds of cardio rule much of my free time and I also share this on my channel.

Don't let a doctor prescribe you a benzo medication like klonopin, here's a good reason why.

08:32
If you get even one prescription of a benzodiazepine medication like klonopin (clonazepam), valium (diazepam), xanax (alprazolam), and ativan (lorazepam), etc. your brain will likely become physically dependent on them after a few weeks use and you could end up like me here or worse. You could end up with countless pill bottles of something that might be helping for a couple weeks, but then it stops working as well and you then up the dose. You get your dose high enough to where your breathing starts to become too depressed. Then you decide you want to come off the meds. But guess what, you can't just stop them. No, you are in for what is going to likely be over a year of trying to taper off your medication because even the smallest cut in dose is going to bring complete hell of withdrawal side effects. These meds change the gaba properties in your brain, the chemical that helps calm your nervous system. When you start cutting the benzo medication out, your brain takes it harshly and takes a long time to adjust back to controlling gaba on its own again. Please trust me when I say do not touch a benzo unless its your last hope. You may end up like me, or countless other people duped by their doctors into getting hooked on something that you are given no warning about its effects both during use and the complete hell of trying to come off of them.

Difference between Clonazepam and Lorazepam Clonazepam VS Lorazepam

03:59
Clonazepam vs. Xanax Is There a Difference. Overview: Anxiety disorders can cause emotional and physical symptoms that can disrupt your everyday life. Emotional symptoms of anxiety disorders include feelings of fear, apprehension, and irritability. Among the physical symptoms are: *pounding heartbeat. *shortness of breath. *stomach and digestive problems. *headaches. *tremors and twitching. *numbness or tingling of the hands and feet. *sleep problems and fatigue. Anxiety disorders can be treated, though. Treatment usually requires a combination of methods, including medication. To treat your anxiety, your doctor may recommend clonazepam or Xanax. How they work: Clonazepam is a generic drug. It’s also sold as the brand-name drug Klonopin. Xanax, on the other hand, is a brand-name version of the drug alprazolam. Both clonazepam and Xanax are central nervous system (CNS) depressants and are classified as benzodiazepines. Benzodiazepines affect gamma-aminobutyric acid (GABA), a key chemical messenger in your brain. These drugs cause nerve impulses throughout your body to slow down, leading to a calming effect. What they treat: Both drugs treat anxiety disorders, including panic attacks in adults. Clonazepam also treats seizures in adults and children. The effectiveness and safety of Xanax has not been established in children, on the other hand. Cost: How much you’ll pay for a prescription drug can vary depending on where you live, your pharmacy, and your health insurance plan. Generally speaking, generic versions are significantly less expensive than brand name versions. That means clonazepam will likely be cheaper than Xanax. Side effects: There are a lot of potential side effects of benzodiazepines, but you’re unlikely to have more than a few. For most people, the side effects are mild and tolerable. They usually occur early on and subside as your body gets used to the drug. The most common side effects are light-headedness and drowsiness. These can impair your ability to drive. If you feel lightheaded or sleepy while taking either of these drugs, don’t drive or operate dangerous equipment. It’s possible to have an allergic reaction to both clonazepam and Xanax. Symptoms of an allergic reaction include hives, itching, or skin rash. If you develop swelling of the face, tongue, or throat or trouble breathing, seek medical attention immediately. Interactions: Taking other CNS depressants with clonazepam or Xanax can intensify their intended effects. Mixing these substances is dangerous and can cause loss of consciousness. In some cases, it can be fatal. Other CNS depressants include: *sedatives and sleeping pills. *tranquilizers and mood stabilizers. *muscle relaxants. *seizure medications. *prescription pain medications. *alcohol. *marijuana. *antihistamines. You can find detailed lists of interacting substances for both drugs in the interactions for Xanax and clonazepam. Tell your doctor and pharmacist about all the medications you take, including over-the-counter drugs and supplements, and ask about potentially dangerous interactions. Circulation. 2015;e29-322. 5. https://medlineplus.gov/ency/article/004024.htm ======================================= 👉 #1 Most Popular Prescription Drug That Causes Erectile Dysfunction & Impotence ======================================= If you’re a guy who is having erectile problems or lowered libido, you’re not alone. I get emails about this topic almost daily if you can believe it. And yes there are lots of causes. However, most guys never even think about the prescription drugs they’re taking, which can cause erectile problems and for sure, make this situation much worse. And today I’m going to reveal the #1 - most prescribed and popular drug, that is one of the biggest causes of impotence. Okay, so what drug is the biggest problem?... It’s blood pressure drugs.3 And if you're curious, the #2 worse drugs are antidepressants and other psychiatric medications… which I’ll get into in a future video. There are over 35 different hypertension drugs, which all cause some form erectile or libido problems.6 In fact, it’s estimated that over 70% of men who take blood pressure medications, decide to get off of them because of these negative side-effects.1,2 Also, these drugs cause “sexual” problems in women as well. Unfortunately, you can’t just get off your blood pressure medication and say “oh, who cares” because high blood pressure is known to cause heart disease, a heart attack or stroke. The sad part is that having high blood pressure ALSO causes erectile problems and lowered libido because of poor blood flow and stress on your veins, arteries and blood vessels. And the worse part is that 75% of the people who have high blood pressure, don’t even know it!4 So… what are you supposed to do? You have to lower your blood pressure?... And you can’t take prescription drugs?... Natural Solutions As I’ve stated in all of my videos, you do NOT need to take drugs to help fix your health challenges. Nature already has the solutions. Under today’s video, I’ve given you links to proven, all-natural solutions for lowering your blood pressure. In fact, it’s the SAME formula that my dad and I use personally. So whether you’re a man or women and you want to improve your sex drive, libido and help fix any erectile problems, make sure lower your high blood pressure, stay away from hypertension drugs and do it naturally! ======================================== Thank you for watching. Marijuana and Medication (Drug) Interactions

07:39
Marijuana and Interactions with Other Medications For those considering using medical marijuana that are already on other prescriptions medications, this is a huge concern. So, I’m going to do a deep-dive into this topic with you - by starting with the basics. Marijuana and Interactions with Other Medications: THE RESEARCH RESEARCH IN ANIMALS MODELS AND TEST TUBES Research in animal models and in test tubes has shown that both CBD and THC slow Cytochrome P450 down. Between CBD and THC, CBD was found to have a greater impact on slowing down CYP than THC. Specifically, the way in which CBD slows down CYP is that it blocks the breakdown of prescription medications. Researchers did find that it typically took really high concentrations of CBD to actually slow down Cytochrome P450. RESEARCH IN HUMANS So, there has been some research done on this topic in humans as well. They’ve been studies done using some very specific prescribed medications. Cannabidiol (CBD) and CLOBAZAM One study looked at the effects of CBD on an anti-seizure medication called Clobazam. They looked to see what happened when 13 kids with Epilepsy were given Clobazam with CBD. They basically found that CBD led to less break-down of Clobazam. Basically, it stuck around longer than normal. And, as a result, the doses of Clobazam that these kids were on had to be reduced. And, in turn, the kids experienced fewer side effects of the Clobazam. Cannabidiol (CBD) and HEXOBARBITAL Another study looked at the effects of CBD on a medication called Hexobarbital. It’s a medication that was used back in the 1940’s and 1950’s as anesthesia, but isn’t really used anymore. The results of the study showed that, again, CBD led to less of break-down of Hexobarbital. So, basically it also stuck around longer. And, you’re probably wondering, what does this mean for me, the patient that’s using medical marijuana? In theory, taking medical marijuana with your prescription medications should impact the breakdown of the prescription medications that you’re taking, but, in general, clinically, this hasn’t really been the case. So, there’s been a decent amount of research done using marijuana. And, a lot of the participants continued to take their prescription medications while participating in the study. So, basically, they were using marijuana along with their prescription medications for conditions like, Neuropathic Pain Cancer-Related Pain Fibromyalgia Multiple Sclerosis Huntington’s Parkinson’s Etc. Overall, the participants of these studies didn’t report any adverse drug-to-drug interactions nor did the researchers observe any adverse drug-to-drug interactions. Marijuana and Interactions with Other Medications: IN PRACTICE I’ve been treating patients with medical marijuana since 2012, and in that time I haven’t had any patients report any adverse drug-to-drug interactions either nor have I observed any general trends with adverse drug-to-drug interactions. Of course, we need more information by way of research, but so far this is what we know and what I’ve seen in my medical marijuana practice. So there you have it - everything you wanted to know about using medical marijuana and interactions with your prescriptions medications. Of course, as always, if you have questions for me, then please post them in the comments section below. I’ll be more than happy to answer them in the next video blog. Sort of the same family as Valium, Ativan, and is a good medication for some patients to control their intractable seizure. Patty McGoldrick: The problem with Klonopin or clonazepam is that you can develop tolerance to it over time, so it doesn't work as well and you have to keep adjusting the dose. It is good as a rescue medication in some instances because it comes in a melt-in-your-mouth tablet. So for someone whose seizing, you can actually put it on their tongue and stop the seizure. It's not as effective as Diastat, which is the rectal Valium, or Midazolam nasal spray, but it's another good alternative. Dr. Wolf: And you need to be careful with it because it's one of those medications that if you are taking it every day, you got to take it every day. If you stop taking it abruptly, it can actually bring on seizures. Patty: And if you're taking it every day to control your seizures, then you lose the efficacy of using it as a rescue drug. It doesn't work as well. Dr. Wolf: So it's a tricky medication. You need to have a discussion with the people who are taking care of you whether it's the right medication for you. Really a second or third line for difficult intractable seizure patients. Has side effects from sedation, even increased droolingness can happen from the medication. But it's another option, another piece to treat really difficult to control seizures.

Opiate withdrawal remedies. Comfort meds.

02:44
Still day 2. The following are medications and doses I recommend. But that being said again I am no doctor. Just someone who's been here many many times and knows a lot about these medications. If you do have questions the safest bet is to contact your doctor. Any doctor. .1 mg clonodine. .1-.2 mg 2-3 times a day depending on severity of symptoms. I currently only use this at night as it makes me so so weak and tired. It's a blood pressure med and old school bit of withdrawal arsenal. I wouldn't take for more then a week due to possible rebound hypertension. .25-1 mg xanax, or whatever benzo. Don't substitute one addiction for another!!! Use sparingly, and only at night if possible. Don't use for more then a few days if possible. 50 mg trazodone. Old school med used for a variety of things including most commonly depression and insomnia. Some people need a higher dose. 100 mg is really good for me. I wouldn't go higher then 150 mg ever. Above meds are prescription meds that most doctors will give you for opiate withdrawal. 15-30 mg loperamide(Imodium) every 6-8 hours if needed. Or every 12-24 as needed. Dose can be higher or lower depending on severity of addiction. People have become dependent on this. This honestly is only something I do if I have no other option. With the prescriptions that I have during this detox the loperamide isn't usually needed. Last resort...So again don't substitute addictions!! In high doses it can almost completely eliminate w/d for some people. And some only need the loperamide. I personally only take this for a day or two and taper my last couple doses down. As I believe having a BM is better then not, to continue to clean you out. (Please note high doses taken for a long period, or even a short period can prolong the length of your w/d, similar to the way a Suboxone taper would.. So this choice is entirely up to you. Taken as directed will at least help with diarrhea). Other helpful meds and things: ibuprofen. Ginger. Fish oil. Multivitamins. Healthy food. Hot baths and showers. Exercise. Magnesium. Epsom salt. Electrolytes. Sugar and caffeine at times. Marijuana. Distraction. Distraction. Distraction. If I can do this after over a decade. You can to. Do your research. Listen to people's stories of recovery. Find and keep a hobby. Anything. Get your soul back. ❤️

Oxycodone: What You Need To Know

14:23
Oxycodone is a popular member of the opioid class. It is widely used in medical settings for acute and chronic pain. Outside of those settings, it has long been used recreationally, with its effects compared to morphine and heroin. The drug is sold either on its own or in combination with acetaminophen (primarily). When acetaminophen is present, the dose must be limited. The general recommendation is to avoid using over 1,000 mg of acetaminophen at once or 3,000 mg per day. An oxycodone overdose can be very dangerous and even deadly, with a notably problematic effect being respiratory depression. It is more risky when combined with other CNS depressants (e.g. benzodiazepines and alcohol.) How to understand Mixing Methadone with other medications with Dr Rodriquez and Delray Center

02:47
Mixing Methadone with other medications "Lets talk about mixing Methadone with other medications its rather common in modern medicine for a patient to take more then one medicine. That holds true for people on Methadone as well. Now Methadone can be taken safely with most antidepressants. Although some antidepressants do have interactions with Methadone that have to be accounted for. Fluoxetine or prozac is notable in that it interacts with Methadone and will tend to prolong the half-life of Methadone. This results in the Methadone dosage having to be adjusted often times may lower for safety reason. Other medications also have significant interactions with Methadone that are more concerning. Medications from the benzodiazepine family such as xanax klonopin and Valium do mix with Methadone and the actual mix can have a very powerful effect on the human body. This affect can be dangerous and can lead into an accidental overdose if not accounted for carefully with they dosage. Usually when medications are mixed and both medications are controlled substances with direct interactions that can affect a person's ability to hold their heartbeat and there regular breathing dosage adjustments have to be made. These adjustments are done by a licensed and qualified physicians and should never be done by any patient on their own at home. If somebody is ever having doubts as far as medications that they are taking at the same time with Methadone they should contact their physician or the nearest emergency room to clarify that to avoid any potential risks. Medications like xanax in particular do not mix well with Methadone and can cause intoxication these intoxications can be dangerous and can lead an untimely overdose. At a lower overdose that would ever be expected with Methadone alone. Again this is why the doses have to be accounted for by your physician. Now again it is possible to take these medications and others when the person is compliant with their medicines at the proper doses when all doses have been accounted for by the physician and when the person is demonstrating good tolerability to the medication regimen. Whenever a medication like this is added to Methadone it is often best to take the first dose or two in the office under direct physician observation for purely safety reasons." I lost 25 lbs in 4 weeks and was in full panic or near panic for 8 weeks straight mixed with the darkest most painful depression I cold have ever imagined.
