03:59
Have you been experiencing irritation and dryness in your eyes lately? Is the dryness in your eyes hampering your daily activities? If yes, then trying out natural remedies for dry eyes can prove to be very helpful! Dry eyes can be best described as a condition in which the tear glands are unable to produce enough moisture to your eyes, making your eyes dry and irritable. Also, the tear ducts may become inflamed, further worsening the symptoms of dry eyes. Dry eyes is a condition that cannot be cured; however, its symptoms can be treated to reduce the irritation. Dry eyes can affect any person, regardless of age or gender; however, it is seen more commonly in professionals who work with computers, and in post-menopausal woman and people who are exposed to excess pollution. Some of the main symptoms of dry eyes include dryness in the eyes, redness, itching, irritation, inflammation, sensitivity to light, watery eyes, stinging sensation, etc. So, if you want to get rid of dry eyes, have a look at these simple tips and follow them regularly! 1. Avoid Computer Use If you want to reduce eye dryness naturally, avoid using computers often, as it is one of the main causes for dry eyes. You can take a lot of breaks where you look away from your screen, if you have to work on computers for a long time. 2. Consume Omega-3 Fatty Acids A natural remedy for dry eyes includes consuming foods that are rich in omega-3 fatty acids like fish, avocado, coconut, etc., as they can reduce inflammation and dryness of the eyes. 3. Avoid Contact Lens If you want to reduce eye dryness, then you must avoid wearing contact lens often and switch over to glasses, as contact lens may further irritate your eyes. 4. Water Treatment If you want to get rid of eye dryness, ensure that you splash cold water, gently, on to your open eyes, at least a couple of times in the day. 5. Check Your Medication Certain medications used to treat allergies, cold, sinusitis and even birth control pills can cause dry eyes, so talk to your doctor if you are facing any problems. 6. Use Eye Drops If you want to reduce eye dryness and irritation, you can visit a professional who will prescribe lubricating eye drops to treat the symptoms. 7. 10 Most WARNING Signs of Gluten Intolerance

09:00
Gluten intolerance, also called gluten sensitivity or Celiac Disease- when it’s in its most severe form- can have symptoms that range from no symptoms to life threatening or debilitating chronic health problems and anywhere in between. Often, these symptoms are not consistent from person to person and this is part of what makes gluten testing or Diagnosing Gluten Sensitivity so difficult for medical professionals. Gluten sensitivity and intolerance can manifest as much more than just IBS-like symptoms and stomach problems. That’s why doctors are more likely to dismiss the idea that you even have this because if they don’t hear about digestive problems as your chief complaint, then it must be something else. More than 55 diseases have been linked to gluten, the protein found in wheat, rye, and barley. It's estimated that 99% of the people who have either gluten intolerance or celiac disease are never diagnosed. But how can you tell if you really are gluten intolerant? For some, eating this mainly wheat-derived protein is just fine, while others experience a full range of symptoms, some of which can make life nightmarish. If you have experienced at least 7 of these 10 symptoms after eating foods containing gluten, it might be time to think about modyfying your diet. What Is Keto Rash?

Get Purified Biles Salts Here: http://bit.ly/GallbladderFormulaCart10 Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about keto rash. When you release more fat than usual. Fat is the substance that stores all sorts of toxins. And if your liver or gallbladder is not releasing toxins in a regular manner, your body could back up with toxic slug causing a reaction in the skin. Hi guys its Dr. Berg, in this short video I want to discuss this thing called keto rash. Here you go in this ketogenic diet and you end up with this terrible rash. If you look this up there is not much information about this and it’s hard to know what it is and so people try all sorts of things and they would start eating more carbs. This is my theory about what it is, if you look at a rash it is usually itchy called pruritus. Itchiness is coming from the liver. High levels of histamines are dumped up in to the liver because when you switch over to ketogenic and or you are running on ketones, you are releasing tons of fat that is coming out through the liver and if you don’t consume enough vegetables you are going to actually have a fatty liver but you are dumping more fat and that fat holds a lot of stuff like chemicals and toxins. If you don’t have enough bile in your gallbladder and you do a ketogenic diet, you might not be able to release the toxins that are coming out with the fat in the proper matter and you are going to create a little bit of the immune reaction with the histamines. One of the purposes of bile is to break down fats but the other purpose is to eliminate toxins. The solution is to add purified bile salts, you can use my formula which is the gallbladder formula or you can just find purified bile salts but it will increase the flow of the bile to the liver and gallbladder so you will eliminate the toxins a lot better and reduce the rash reaction that is occurring. What causes pressure in eyes with burning sensation all over the body? - Dr. Sunita Rana Agarwal

07:28
When we are talking about increased pressure in the eye, we are talking about glaucoma. Headache will also be associated with the glaucoma. Numbness, tingling and burning sensation means there is some excitation on the nervous system. Then the diagnosis becomes more into an auto immune disease. Auto immune disease is the disease where our immune system is attacking us. In auto immune disease along with fatigue, skin discolouration it will also be associated with the eyes. In eyes there will be inflammation and glaucoma. The main problem is inflammation. Here our cells which should be actually attacking on bacteria is attacking us. Multiple sclerosis is one of the most common auto immune disease. There is no good treatment against auto immune disease. We can get the diagnosis by MRI or cerebrospinal fluid tap. The MRI will show certain areas of inflammation which we will relate well as plaques which can happen in the optic nerve, brain or in any of the areas. Then we will be able to target our medicines more towards that area. However, I would like to try and treat these conditions. If we can give back the person his own increased immune system. Most medicines in the conventional system will try to treat an auto immune disease by suppressing the immune system. Simple medications like steroids or non-steroidal anti inflammataories wherever we can cut the inflammation. However in the long run immune suppressant drugs don’t prove efficacy. To make an immune booster system we take one drop of the patient’s blood, make the patient’s own stem cells and healthy fetal DNA and give this back as sub cutaneous injection to the patient. This is a molecular based study and treatment. Along with the patient’s own stem cells we have a much wider area of treating the condition. It has been seen that there is an increase in the statistics of auto immune diseases. Usually a patient associated with an auto immune disease also has some food allergies. He will also be associated with a leaky gut. There will be diarrhoea, vomiting, some bouts in and out. They will also have muscle spasm, joint pains all related to some sort of food poisoning. That means its a food allergy. Most of the food allergies comes from nuts like peanuts, almonds etc. They can come from cereals like wheat maize, millet or legumes. There is something in the grains and legumes called lecitins. To find out this we need to take a blood analysis and stool analysis. In stool analysis we are searching for good bacteria. If the good bacteria is there this will prevent the leaky gut. That means if peanut allergy is there, to help us break down these peanuts we need these good bacteria. If the good bacteria is missing huge chains of the proteins is getting into the blood. This is causing allergic reactions. Diet, medications all of these mechanisms help us to improve our immune system. One of the most important thing is to have some probiotic in our diet. Indian diet is filled with yogurt and curd and this would be a good idea. Fruits are also very important. Increase them in your diet. Diet and exercise should be able to tackle a situation that most medicine is not able to.

05:53
For more info: https://draxe.com/zinc-deficiency/?utm_campaign=Youtube-Feb-2015&utm_medium=social&utm_source=youtube&utm_term=zincdeficient Today I’m going to share with you the five warning signs that you’re zinc deficient. About 75% of people in the world are deficient, so being deficient in zinc is very common. The 5 warning signs you’re zinc deficient: 1.) If you get sick a lot or have immune system issues 2.) Have leaky gut (http://draxe.com/7-signs-symptoms-you-have-leaky-gut/) 3.) If you struggle with diarrhea or IBS 4.) Thinning hair 5.) Inflammatory skin issues like acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis One of the biggest factors in causing zinc deficiency is high levels of emotional stress. The second most common cause of zinc deficiency is over-exercise. The third most common reason your zinc deficient is if you’re pregnant or breast feeding. Lastly, if you’re older, you may tend to have malabsorption, which causes a zinc deficiency. In order to get more zinc in your diet, you need to consume more zinc-rich foods. The top 5 zinc-rich foods are pumpkin seeds, oysters, grass-fed beef, sprouted nuts and seeds, and peas. Additionally, probiotics are a key supplement to take when zinc deficient because it can help your overall absorption of nutrients. For more information on zinc deficiency, you can check out this article: http://draxe.com/zinc-deficiency/ *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. Food Allergy: Through the Eyes of Parents (Part 1/3)

08:07
Being the parent of a child with life-threatening food allergies can be challenging. The following video series provide parents’ views on life with a food allergy (PART 1) the many faces of anaphylaxis (PART 2) and lessons learned and advice (PART 3). These videos provide helpful information for anyone who knows or cares for someone living with food allergy. These videos are one of the outcomes of a Master in Nursing research study that explored parents’ thoughts and experiences with epinephrine auto-injector use for their child’s anaphylactic reaction. Parents described multiple life challenges and feelings of isolation, anxiety, hesitation and guilt. The study highlighted the need for parents to have the knowledge, skills and confidence to manage these life threatening reactions. Our goal is that these videos will help educate, support, and guide other caregivers, but can also extend beyond caregivers as a useful teaching tool for allergy organizations, healthcare providers, schools and the community. These videos were developed by Rishma Chooniedass and Saiful Huq from University of Manitoba. We thank the families for sharing their stories and their valuable insights. The information provided is general and not designed for a specific child. It is not meant to replace medical care. Please consult your child’s doctor for specific advice.

Questions & Answers 216 - Folliculitis, Food Allergies, Fasting, Living on Fruits

01:56:59
Questions & Answers 216 08:04- Gavin -- My question is that for about 8 years now I have been suffering of folliculitis of the scalp. What began as small pimples in anisolated area, eventually over time spread to pretty much the whole crown of my head, and now I have a raised red scar, which is apparently due to the destruction of the hair follicle, and I'm not beginning to see hair loss around the crown of my head. 20:14- Christa -- I have gone through all 12 Detox kits, and I am still taking Stomach & Bowels #3, Kidneys, Lymphatic, Adrenal, Parasite, Brain and Nerve and many others since June 2013. I am mainly on fruits and berries and salads, steamed vegetables, and some soaked nuts in the evening. I am very thin and can't eat less. I do get so hungry at times. I live in cold Canada so I have to keep warm. I am in my 60's and had severe eczema as a baby. I had dairy and meat for most of my life, but ate very "health conscious" for most of it. 31:48- Betty -- What causes food allergies? How does protein affect the Kidneys? Does the Lymphatic system drain into the venous system, or the kidneys? How do the Adrenal control the Kidneys? Can you get a rash from the fluctuation in blood sugar from eating just fruit? 42:51- Emily -- Please talk about weaning oneself from a pharmaceutical medication for high blood pressure. I take Amlodipine 5MG since November. I have been 80/20 taking an adrenal glandular, kelp and herbal formulas. With all my heart, thank you for your loving kindness, your foreverness. 50:45- Mary -- How can one live on fruit alone, no herbs or greens? Will I become deficient? What is your take on this? 1:00:09- Gabe -- I have a questions regarding fasting. I have tried fruits, berries, and melons for a while now and don't see much sediment in my urine. I don't see much sediment with water fasting for 3 days at a time here and there, but I do see a lot of sediment with dry fasting once a week for 36 hours. Is dry fasting for 36 hours once per week healthy? I also don't understand why I get sediment with dry fasting, but not water fasting? Please let me know what goes on during a dry fast that causes filtering over a water fast. 1:07:47- Shannon -- My husband had a crainionotomy 12 years ago. The last 2 years his head has been pussing and we couldn't find a doctor that would even touch his head. They would just say here are antibiotics and pain meds. The antibiotics never help and he kept telling them that. He gave up and quit going. I found a doctor that sent him to a neurosurgeon and was told he has an infection inside his head. He has a MRI and CAT scan to make sure the infection hasn't reached his skull bone. What herbs can I use to help him with the infection and after surgery for healing? 1:14:42- Claire -- You talk about young souls and old souls. What's the difference and how would a new soul be 'born' or created? And if all matter and atoms are already in existence, what then are souls made of? 1:30:16- Linda/Chuck -- I have been on your herbs for over 4 months now. I started filtering at around 2-3 months. I have bad head and sinus congestion and large polyps. Cold hands and feet and when I drink beer my face gets very pale. What are your thoughts on that? Also, I was using infrared sauna a lot trying to sweat it out. After listening to you I stopped, hopefully not to late. Plus what's your opinion on hot tubs (chlorine) 1:33:39- Sarah -- I am eating a raw food diet, which is predominantly fruit. I eat fruit all day and a salad at night. For my dressing I like to mix tomatoes and avocado, but I am not sure whether half of an avocado a day is too much. I have started including avocado because its winter and a little fat seen to suit me well. I was previously eating only high water content fruits and no salad, but when winter came I began to lose weight so I started including them again. I am not sure whether to continue using avocado because its not very cleansing and its very high in fat, and I do not want to become a high fat raw foodist as it seems to cause a lot of problems for those who attempt it. 1:38:58 - Revolutionman2012 -- My wife suffers from "Depersonalization" I was wondering to hear of any health suggestions you may have for her. We would really appreciate it. We send our love your way. 1:46:22- FlyingWithHorsesUK -- I have a question regarding an equine fatal condition called 'grass sickness' which sadly took the life of my best friend, the majestic white Horse, Joseph, last week. Little is know about this condition, which is most prevalent in the UK. It's thought that a form of ingested neuro-toxin causes gut paralysis, leading to colic & emaciation, and eventually death within a week in 95% of cases. What can we give our horses herbally to help with neuro-toxic reactions, which lead to gut paralysis to help improve recovery?

A few of the warning signs that indicate you are gluten sensitive are digestive issues, food allergies, autoimmune disease, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, weight gain, joint pain, arthritis, brain inflammation, ADHD, autism, hypothyroidism, or hormone imbalance. This protein gets into your gut and causes intestinal inflammation, resulting in autoimmune disease and other problems. If you're gluten sensitive and are going gluten free, you can follow the GAPS diet, which supports your digestive system. In addition, taking supplements like L- Glutamine, digestive enzymes, and probiotics will help your body heal from gluten sensitivity. Allergy tests that can be done include common food allergy, seafood allergy, common children’s food allergy, animals and insects allergy, inhalant allergy and allergies in eczema.

Finding Out about Food Allergies

01:36
http://www.healthybalanceddiet.org What is a Food Allergy? Food allergy is an abnormal immune response to a food protein. Food allergies are a different case from experiencing adverse reactions to certain foods. The reason why a person can get allergic to a certain type of food is because of the protein component that it has. Allergic reactions happen when the immune system attacks that protein thinking that it can harm the body. Causes of Food Allergies Food allergies are a result of hypersensitivity of the immune system. When a person ingests a substance that the body is not able to identify, it will release an antibody called immunoglobulin E (IgE) to fight off the foreign body. When IgE is found in the body, cells called mast cells and basophils produce a chemical called histamine. Histamine at high levels can cause inflammation in various parts of the body causing the symptoms of allergy. Signs and Symptoms of a Food Allergy  Redness of the skin  Inflammation of the skin  Itchiness causing skin to thicken after scratching  Red bumps or welts on different parts of the body  Swollen tongue, hands and feet  Puffed eye lids or swelling under the eyes  Hives  Rashes around the mouth For more info please visit http://www.healthybalanceddiet.org

Iodine is a miracle cure and has healed my nagging symptoms

05:39
I've had these symptoms for god knows how long: - Sagging facial skin (nasojugal + nasolabial folds). I can even feel it sagging - Hollowed eyes, dark circles - Creases in skin due to dehydration - Chronically chapped lips - Sore eyes to the touch - Occasional dry eyes - Dehydrated look to skin - Dry hair, sometimes randomly brittle - Scalp is itchy sometimes - Sensitive to cold, I start shivering when drinking ice cold water - Dry hair and itchy scalp - Some days hair will feel healthy, other days brittle, dry, with hair loss - Dehydrated skin, only face - Bloated face - Sometimes I’ll look in the mirror and then come back a few minutes later and my face looks different (it'll be red/less red, more bloated/less bloated) - Dry lips (aquaphor, vaseline are only temp fixes) - Dry eyes (to the point where my eyes are sore to touch) - Used to have brain fog but ever since taking B12 or doing keto (low carb diet) it seems to have subsided - I'm always thirsty no matter how much water I drink. I typically drink more than a gallon of water a day. - On random days or random times during the day my skin and hair will look and feel really good (hydrated, healthy, etc). Then after a few hours, day or few days later, it will return to its dry state. - Overall, something just doesn't feel right - I also suffer from food allergies - During fasting state, skin looks bad, then i eat something, skin immediately gets better - Standing up, face flushes for a minute or so - Face easily flushes, like from laughing, smiling, etc - Face feels tight Obviously there was something wrong with me. I've gone to every medical practitioner in my area in search of an answer. I've gotten MRIs to rule out tumors, to infectious disease doctors to rule out parasites or viruses, to naturopathic doctors and GPs, and just tons of blood tests to see what was wrong with me. I've adapted an extremely healthy lifestyle, eating paleo/ketogenic, running miles every week, with strength training and gymnastics almost every day. I labored intensively with my juicer on a daily basis, making sure I didn't skip a green tonic once for months. I even took it on my travels, convinced I just needed to heal myself with vegetables and nutrients consistently. I also went on a food elimination diet, eating just chicken and vegetables for a month to determine if what I had was caused by food allergies. I did numerous cleanses, convinced I had Candida. I tried everything, including things I don't even remember because I literally tried everything. I then stumbled upon Iodine supplementation after researching hypothyroidism since its symptoms were quite similar to mine, although numerous blood tests never revealed anything wrong with my thyroid--my TSH levels were normal. I started supplementation about 2 weeks ago at what you would call low doses on this forum (2-3 mg/day). I already started noticing some positive change the next day, although it bounced back a few days later which was quite depressing. I did get some cherry angiomas around my eyes which was promising since it was a sign of bromide detox. I decided to up my dose with Lugol's to 50 mg/day. That was when the fairy tale began. A few days later, I looked and felt like a completely different person. All my symptoms have either vanished completely or have decreased significantly. I really can't believe that, after spending just a few dollars on an element on the periodic table, I've found what I was missing out on, especially after suffering for years and spending thousands of dollars on anything and everything. I have this forum to thank as well as well as the doctors who researched the hell out of Iodine and its miraculous effects. I have my life back. No longer am I spending countless hours every night researching and hoping that I would stumble upon someone who was like me, but cured. So I'm writing this post for those of you out there who are suffering, like me. Guys, I'm in serious disbelief and awe. Iodine is a panacea, at least for me. I'm still early in the supplementation process but things are looking very promising. It's not a coincidence--iodine is certainly doing a number on me but I can't quite comprehend why. I'm very thankful and gracious that it's working but would love if someone could shed a little more light as to what was wrong with me to begin with. Did I have bromide poisoning? Or was my thyroid out of whack? Is iodine really the only supplement I'll ever need (including co-supplements) or should I also look into taking dessicated thyroid? Whatever the case, I'm just glad to be able to share a story with most likely a happy ending. Thank you!!
Why Do We Get Eye Boogers?

Do eye boogers play a crucial role in maintaining the overall health of our eyes, or are they just a gross inconvenience? If you go for too long without blinking, the emulsion falls apart - oil and water don't like to mix - and your cornea could become exposed to air. At best that's uncomfortable - at worst, the chronic deterioration of the tear film could lead to a condition known as "dry eye" or, more technically, keratoconjunctivitis sicca." Here's Why You Get Eye Boogers http://www.attn.com/stories/7078/scientific-reason-why-you-get-eye-boogers%E2%80%8B "Normally, you blink debris away during the day - and the older you are, the more you fight eye junk. Adults blink at a rate of about 20 per minute; babies only do it about twice per minute." They function to protect epithelial cells from infection, dehydration, and physical or chemical injury, as well as to aid the passage of materials through a tract." ____________________ DNews is dedicated to satisfying your curiosity and to bringing you mind-bending stories & perspectives you won't find anywhere else!
