ALL 4 Elliptical Weight Loss Workouts ⏵ http://www.nowloss.com/elip/ You can download a printable version of this workout along with the mp3 for motivation here: http://www.nowloss.com/elip I burned 747 calories per hour (or 373 calories my first time doing this workout) and each time I do this workout I always try to match the same calorie burn or higher. If I don't get the minimum 373 calories then I punish myself and do an extra 10 minute set. I don't want you to focus on burning calories but focus on the calorie readout as a way to make you work harder because the more you kick your own A$$ = the faster you'll lose weight. You don't have to use the calories as a guide. You can use the strides per minute to make sure you keep the same high speed throughout the entire workout or you can use the total distance covered. This workout is made up of 3 TEN minute sets where you alternate between 45 & 30 second burst with a 60 seconds all out burst at the end but your rest periods get shorter & shorter each time going from 30 seconds all the way down to 10 second breaks. You also do not need an elliptical to do this workout. It's very intense but that's what you need if you want to lose weight REAL FAST and keep it off for good! If you do not have e an elliptical then just follow along with this workout on your treadmill, bike, glider or etc OR... you can even do it while running in place, jump rope or jumping jacks. QUICK TIP: wear a weight vest or add 10% of your body weight to lose weight EVEN faster with this elliptical workout so for example... If you weigh 200 pounds then wear a 20 pound weight vest or use a book bag filled with weights because the more you weight = the more calories you will burn. Here's the full workout laid out for you... Do this 30 minute workout 2 times a day (morning & evening) 3-to-4 days a week along with doing the diet at nowloss.com/diet or simply go here: http://www.nowloss.com/nowloss-diet.htm And NO. you don't have to use any resistance level but in the workout you see me doing the resistance is set on the basic 3 (out of 10) but whatever resistance level you use I recommend that you don't set it too high and not to set it so low that you can't control how fast your legs move. I'm also going at least 200 SPM (strides per minute) the entire workout which is about 80% of my max speed of 250-to-275 SPM but in the elliptical workout above I think was always over at least 220 SPM for the entire workout. To get the best elliptical workout you can you want to do the same thing and stay at or over 80% of your max SPM the entire workout. TO get your max SPM just go all out as fast as you can for 15 seconds on the elliptical and then take that number and multiply it by .8 For example if your max SPM is 150 then 120 would be 80% and you want to stay over that the whole workout. Now if you want to you can extend this elliptical workout way past 10 minutes and do up to a 40 minute workout either by doing the elliptical video back-to-back 2-to-4 times or you can simply setup your own timer system to let you know when to take breaks. It should also go without saying that doing this elliptical workout alone will not help you lose weight so as you should already know you will also need to add a diet plan along with this elliptical work out or any workout to get the best weight loss results possible in the shortest amount of time. Whatever diet you go on with this elliptical workout should be a diet that of course helps you eat less but whatever diet or gimmick you are on I recommend you only eat 1200-to-2000 calories per day as outlined in my basic diet here http://www.nowloss.com/nowloss-diet.htm where you can eat what you want whenever you want or my diet plan here where you can lose weight without counting calories but that diet is more restrictive: http://www.nowloss.com/best-way-to-lose-weight-fast.htm You only need to do this elliptical workout 1-to-2 rimes per day 3-to-4 days per week for 10-to-40 minutes at a time and if you feel you can do more than that then you need to really examine to see if you are really working hard enough (with enough intensity) to burn fat all over your body because if not... This is Max Habra again for Howcast and what we're going to do today is show you how to get the most out of an elliptical machine in the gym. All right? Basically an elliptical is just another cardiovascular exercise similar to treadmill. And what you're going to be doing is working on your cardiovascular efficiency. So you're going to be burning calories and working on your cardiovascular system at the same time. Now I believe that any cardiovascular, or any cardio exercise period, you should be most intense. All right. So that means burning more calories per minute is going to be the best use of your time, instead of going low intensity. A lot of time they talk about if you want to burn body fat, to stay at 60% of your maximum heart rate. Now that's all fine and good, but if your goal is other than just body fat, or even body fat alone, your goal should be to burn the most amount of calories in the shortest amount of time. That's what I think is most important. Your goal would then be to put you incline up, also put your intensity up and feel like you're really challenging yourself. I you're not, then you probably aren't. Now there's different way of switching the efficiency of this exercise. If you really want just your legs to work then you can take your hands off and do it this way. Now if you want more of a total body exercise put your hands on and increase the resistance and push and pull. That way you're going to get every muscle in your leg and you're also going to your chest muscles, triceps, back and bicep muscles at the same time. So the most efficient way to work out will be hand and feet moving at the same time. The highest intensity you can manage, and go from 20 to 30 minutes and burn as calories as possible. Get off it. Get something to eat. Go home. All right? So enjoy, stay out there, and be safe.

Here is one of my favorite stair workouts that help me get into bikini body shape. Stair workouts are great because there is no equipment needed, it targets your butt, inner and outer thighs and your core, burns fat without spending hours in the gym AND is a low impact, high intensity cardio workout. Everyone has access to stairs to this workout is really easy to do and you only need 10 minutes out of your day to get a really intense workout.
