It simply means eliminating toxins from your bloodstream, liver, kidneys, and intestines by means of a particular diet or juicing protocol. While this question has been asked by tons and tons of Juicing Mom fans, the answer will always remain the same, and it is “Don’t”. Never do any detox program while breastfeeding or nursing to your babies. Pregnancy and breastfeeding are both essential period to intake as many nutrients as possible for the healthy growth and development of the baby. You need so much of the calories, protein, carbohydrates, essential fats, minerals, vitamins, fluid, and other important nutrients from different food sources and wide arrays of diet. Another thing is, in the removal of toxins through a cleanse or detox, the waste will re-circulate into the blood stream and possibly absorb into the baby’s blood stream via the placenta or through the breast milk, this is certainly not recommended and could be harmful to the baby. When is the best time to do detox? Detoxing should be done before and after pregnancy. Doing a cleanse or a reset a few months prior to conception is most essentially recommended as juicing can boost fertility and may also improve the health of the baby, and the parents. Important nutrients vital for Mothers and their babies during pregnancy and breastfeeding: Fulvic Acid – this is one of the needed nutrients that many mothers overlook. This important nutrient helps in the development of the baby helping it ward off toxins and other harmful substances that causes birth deficiencies. Protein – we need an extra 10 grams per day. This is important for the growth of all tissue. Here is more on plant protein sources. Calcium – if a pregnant or lactating woman does not intake enough calcium then it will be leached from her bones to ensure the baby’s needs are met for proper development. Vitamin B12 – is essential for proper nerve and brain function for both mother and baby, a deficiency can caia, delayed growth, development and movement disorders. Folate – is essential for the prevention of neural tubal defects and many studies stress the importance of this nutrient pre-conception and during pregnancy. Iodine – Iodine deficiency becomes particularly critical in pregnancy due to neurological damage during fetal development as well as during lactation. Iron – It is recommended to have approximately 30mg per day, double the normal recommendation. Zinc – deficiency has been associated with birth defects and low birth weights. Sources include nuts, seeds, seafood, meats, egg yolk and whole grains. Vitamin D – there are numerous studies associating this deficiency with pre-term labour, low birth weight, pre-eclampsia, poor growth, bone fragility and an increased incidence of auto-immune disease. Hello Everyone, Today in this video I have shared Benefits of Jeera for Weight Loss in Hindi. I have shared the detailed benefits of Jeera (Cumin) and what it's studies proved. Below is the study conducted which proves Jeera works for weight loss: Iranian scientists from the Shahid Sadoughi University of Medical Sciences included 88 women who were considered overweight or obese into their study. They randomly divided them into two groups. • One group ate 3 grams of cumin powder daily, mixed into 5 grams of yogurt. • The control group consumed yogurt too, but without any additions. • Both groups received dietary advice and reduced their daily caloric intake by 500 calories. Study Results • One study compared the weight loss of women who ate 3 grams of cumin every day with women who didn’t eat cumin. While both groups reduced their calorie intake according to dietary advice, the women who consumed cumin showed an almost 15% decrease in fat after 3 months. Those who didn’t eat cumin daily had only a 4.9% loss in fat. Also, cumin seemed to lower bad cholesterols and increase good cholesterol levels! How to drink jeera for weight loss: 1. Heat water in a pot over medium heat (watch for small bubbles to start rising) 2. Add cumin seeds. Boil for 5 minutes 3. Strain water into a drinking mug 4. Add honey if desired and stir well. Exercise will help you lose those extra pounds put on during pregnancy, ease post-partum depression and unlike dieting, it won't harm your baby, if you are nursing. On 3rd August 2014 (6 months after delivering my second boy), I weighed 174 lbs (78 kilograms), which is considered borderline obese for a woman my height. I wasn’t always this heavy though, pre-pregnancy (before my 1st child) I weighed only 138 pounds and I felt much healthier and with higher self esteem. Now I feel very self conscious about my body especially around my hubby (although he will always try to reassure me that my extra bulges do not bother him, but I still hate looking in the mirror). Even though I have already lost 23 lbs post pregnancy and even now when I'm still breastfeeding my baby, I'm still struggling with the last 36 lbs. No matter how much I try to control what I eat everyday (I admit I do fall off the bandwagon and binged on buffets quite a few times), or how hard I try to fit in exercise into my busy schedule, the weight just couldn't come off, especially around my tummy, thighs and arm.I tried everything from all sorts of diet pills to the newest exercise machines advertised on TV, and I even tried crazy extreme diets like the Cotton Ball diet (they are supposedly high fiber without the calories), the Sleeping Beauty diet (Elvis Presley was also a follower), the Apple Cider Vinegar Diet (made popular by Heidi Klum and Fergie), and even the Japanese blue lense sunglasses diet (which supposedly blocked out red light to suppress hunger pangs). Although I did lose significant weight while on some of those diets, it didn't last. Once I'm off the diet my weight would come way back. The weight loss was never permanent. There was no way I could continue depriving myself of my normal way of life and normal food permanently, so staying on the diets for longer than a few weeks wasn't an option.
