Drink a glass of water this time to lower your blood pressure We can’t survive more than a few days without water. To give you a glimpse of its importance, this nutrient plays a key role in maintaining normal temperature, shuttling nutrients throughout the body, lubricating joints, ridding the body of waste and much more! Very few people actually drink the minimum amount of water to keep the body hydrate. We need to drink anywhere from 6 to 8 glasses of Water depending on the activity we partake and the type of weather we live in. Drinking a warm glass of water before taking a bath or shower serves to warm your body from the inside, resulting in the same type of circulatory system dilation that occurs on the skin’s surface. In addition, drinking water serves to dilute your body’s sodium levels. Sodium – better known as salt – serves to raise blood pressure and it promotes fluid retention in the body’s tissues. High sodium levels result in a high blood pressure. When you drink water, you dilute the body’s sodium levels, which serves to lower blood pressure. So, to sum up the answer to the question, “how does it happen ?”: The warmth of the water that you drink, combined with the warmth of the water in the hot bath or shower serves to dilate your blood vessels, causing your blood pressure to drop. The water that you drink also serves to dilute your body’s sodium levels, which further decreases blood pressure. So a glass of water before a hot bath or shower really can help your health! Does A Hot Shower Help High Blood Pressure? There is one organ which causes high blood pressure (and it's not what you think!) and there are specific exercises you can use to target and fix your blood pressure easily. Forcing the door open, she found him unconscious on the floor. Video here Blood Pressure Exercises VSL cb. Is there a proper sequence of bathing, like wetting the limbs or feet first, followed by the body, then the head? Can a cold shower trigger a stroke or heart attack? These are very interesting and important questions. Let me digress and stress that, in many instances, its not the bathing but the straining during bowel movement which can trigger a stroke or heart attack in the bathroom. As far as I could gather from our private practice, we have more patients developing a heart attack or stroke while exerting effort in the toilet, rather than taking a bath. Therefore, one must take precautionuse bath bench or stool, dont remain standing. Have grab bars installed on the bathroom walls. Spread out bath mats with suction cups to cover slippery surfaces. How about the water temperature and sequence of bathing? If one does not have any heart or blood-vessel problem, even ice-cold showers should not pose any problem, and based on scientific evidence, it does not matter which part of the body one wants to wet first. Individuals with a history of heart problems or stroke are advised to use lukewarm water to bathe, and to prevent chilling during and after taking a bath. Chilling can cause the arteries to constrict and prevent blood flow to vital organs like the heart and brain. So, its best to avoid chilling at all times. I dont see anything wrong with that practice, too, but there is no scientific data to recommend it either. I find it more as an instinctive reaction when bathing in cold weather without any water heater. More: https://youtu.be/M0CBW-OKXiw Subscribe to our channel!

http://bpgolow.com/Virginia-Sturm-30-Ways-Naturally-Lower-BP How to Lower Blood Pressure Fast with feet soaking, breathing and meditation. That's what this video is all about. They say high BP is a silent killer. But you can feel it when your BP is dangerously high. It's an unpleasant feeling. That something isn't quite right. That something is seriously off. Perhaps a slight headache, or a ringing in your ears? And you're mentally foggier, perhaps more anxious. You're breathing probably gets heavier. So it's not quite silent. It whispers to you. This feeling doesn't happen too often, but when it does, I pull out all the stops to bring my BP down. Feet soaking worked for me a few months ago. But one YouTube subscriber commented he tried it, and it failed. And it failed for me too when I tried it just recently. Use a larger volume of water to hold the temperature warm! That was my takeaway lesson. Also, focusing on the breath helps tremendously. Slow the breathing down and extend the outbreath. The outbreath is the vehicle for calming you down. I made this video so you have an option in knowing how to lower blood pressure fast and naturally.

https://tinyurl.com/y8qypf6q Clicking the link, you'll learn three easy exercises so effective that even if you have suffered from life-threatening hypertension for years, you can bring it down to 120/80 – as soon as TODAY! Causes of fluctuating blood pressure 1. White coat hypertension This term describes blood pressure that is higher at the doctor's office, often because the person is anxious about the appointment. A study published in 2013 concluded that people with white coat hypertension should be monitored for heart disease risk factors, especially abnormal blood sugar levels. White coat hypertension is not necessarily as concerning as blood pressure that is consistently high. A 2016 meta-analysis published in the Journal of Hypertension found that people with white coat hypertension had a lower risk of heart disease and a better outlook than people with lasting hypertension. 2. Medications Certain medications can temporarily reduce blood pressure. They include: • diuretics • beta-blockers and other heart medications • tricyclic antidepressants • medications for high blood pressure, especially if the dose is too high • medications for Parkinson's disease • medications for erectile dysfunction, especially if taken with nitroglycerine 3. Emotional upset, anxiety, and stress Strong emotions, particularly stress and anxiety, can cause blood pressure to spike. This is the body's natural response to a stressful event, and the pressure will eventually return to normal as the person calms down. However, long-term stress and untreated anxiety can have lasting, harmful effects on blood pressure and overall health. 4. Temperature Being in a warm room or taking a hot bath can temporarily lower blood pressure. This is usually not a cause for concern, as long as blood pressure does not dip too low. Symptoms of dangerously low blood pressure include dizziness, nausea, and fainting. 5. Street drugs Cocaine and methamphetamine can cause extreme spikes in blood pressure. --------------------------------------- Please help Health Care For You raise the vibrations and SHARE this video with your family and friends. --------------------------------------- FOR MORE VIDEOS LIKE THIS ONE SUBSCRIBE TO THIS CHANNEL: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCQXsWT3iRjeaw1w7IXcvRaQ

Lose up to 24 pounds in 6 weeks (free guide): https://www.focusfitness.net/ffyt-fat-crusher-plan This video will show you reasons why baths are better than showers 1. Baths Can Delay Aging Taking baths can reduce aging and adult acne. Baths help lower cortisol levels in the body. Cortisol is a stress hormone that can increase acne and induce premature aging. 2. Baths Relieve Sore Muscles In a bath, you are fully submerged in warm water, which relieves the muscles throughout your body. Additionally, bath additives such as Epsom salt can help relieve aches and pains as well. 3. Baths Is Clean As Showers People feel that baths are somehow “dirtier” than showers since the water isn’t draining, showers are better than baths only when you’re dirty or sweaty from being outdoors or exercising. 4. Can Lower Blood Sugar Levels Taking a hot bath can actually reduce your blood sugar levels. Our blood sugar rises after we eat, and the amount it rises is one of the risk markers for diabetes. 5. Are Good Stress-Relievers Increasing your body temperature can improve circulation, calm your nervous system, detoxify your body, and release endorphins. This make you feel good and can get rid of stress. 6. Baths Are Good For Your Skin Both showers and baths can strip your body of these nourishing oils. The difference between the two bathing methods is that you can put additives — like essential oils, mineral salts, oatmeal, honey, etc. 7. Baths Are Heart-Healthy Baths have been proven to lower blood pressure, which decreases stress on the heart and the cardiovascular system 8. scented bubble bath You could indulge in foaming bubble bath that not only smell delicious but also provide bubbles to play with while relaxing. 9. When Your Hair is Just Right If your hair is the perfect amount of oily like a day before you really need to wash it, so that it falls in that perfectly disheveled. 10. When Your Skin is Parched Instead, take a bath with warm water and skin-soothing bath oils, like from Sisley Paris. The blend of essential oils seeps deep into your skin, hydrating the entire body

Boost Metabolism: Sauna vs. Steam Room- Which is better? Find out how to elevate your mood, boost your metabolism, detoxify your body and reduce muscle stiffness. Learn this and more at http://www.ThomasDeLauer.com You may have heard discussion around the benefits of the sauna and the steam room, but is one better for you than another? There is only so much time in the day to spend at the gym, so we want to be sure to get the most out of what we do in the least amount of time. Saunas have been around for thousands of years. Finland has a sauna tradition that has been around for two thousand years strong, and many attribute their endurance and longevity to the time they spend in the sauna. Saunas and steam rooms are touted to induce mental and physical relaxation, and both induce large amounts of sweating, which has health benefits such as releasing toxins from the body. So where does the difference lie? Saunas are dry heat whereas steam rooms are at 100% humidity. One of the biggest differences has to do with temperature - when a room is humid we feel as though it is hotter than it actually is. Due to this, saunas are able to be kept at a much higher temperature than steam rooms. Saunas range from 160 to 200 degrees Fahrenheit, wheres steam rooms are at 110 to 120. In order to understand how these differences would lead to the best option of the two, we must first understand the benefits of both saunas and steam rooms. Benefit 1: Increased blood flow Blood vessels enlarge when your body temperature rises, allowing increased delivery of oxygen and nutrients throughout your body. After particularly vigorous exercise, try to get 15-30 minutes in the sauna or steam room to reap the benefits of this increased nutrient and oxygen delivery to your muscles. The increased blood flow allows an acceleration of tissue repair post workout. The faster you heal the better you feel and more able you are to take your next workout to a higher level. Benefit 2: Increased metabolism and physical endurance Increase the temperature and you will increase your metabolism, which is simply how quickly your body burns calories, due to this heat. Your body works harder to try and keep itself cool, thereby burning calories at a higher rate. Benefit 3: Inflammation Exposure to the high heat results in a release of noradrenaline, adrenaline and cortisol, which all have anti-inflammatory properties. This can help in mobility and pain, temporarily relieving stiffness post workout. Many people suffering with arthritis have reported relief after spending time in the sauna or steam room. Benefit 4: Sweating Sweating helps to lower blood pressure by secreting salts, detoxify by expelling toxins through our pores and helps to increase caloric expenditure. Benefit 5: Mood We are all familiar with the pleasant mood that you feel after going to the sauna or steam room. People report feeling less anxiety, increased relaxation, improved general mood and even increased alertness after trips to the sauna and steamroom. Why does this happen? 1. Subscribe to our channel: http://bit.ly/22LGXK7 Dry Sauna vs Steam Room. Which has more health benefits? First off, let's identify the health benefits that BOTH offer: Both Steam and Sauna's will: - open pores - loosen muscles - help you to relax - provide you with a better (more restful) sleep - improve circulation - increase metabolism - reduce inflammation How? Blood vessels enlarge when your body temperature increases, thus allowing more oxygen and nutrients to be transported to your tissues. And improved and increased blood-flow will allow the muscles to loosen and connective tissues to become more pliable. A release of endorphins and hormones as a response to the increase in heat can contribute to a deeper sleep. The increased sweating opens pores and removes toxins and salt, which can lower blood pressure. This all results in an increase in caloric expenditure, which increases metabolism. So now let's explore the main differences: A Dry Sauna: - is typically at a humidity level of 5-30% - runs hotter than a steam room, between 70-100 degrees celsius - promotes sweating, as the dry environment allows sweat to evaporate from the skin, promoting more sweating and more removal of toxins through the skin - can be a difficult environment for some people to breathe in, such as those with asthma - Can be used for extended periods to further promote a "detoxification" process, as long as fluids and electrolytes are replenished both during, and after A Steam Room: - operates at 100% humidity - feels hotter, even though it operates at a lower temperature compared to a sauna (around 40 degrees celsius) - is very beneficial for those with breathing and or congestion issues, as the wet heat opens airways and mucous membranes - can be very hydrating for the skin Why does it feel hotter? Because the environment stays moist (100% humidity) the sweat doesn't evaporate from your skin. This creates a situation where your body could overheat if exposed to this environment for a prolonged time. It is the act of sweat evaporating from your skin that allows the body to regulate it's own temperature. That is why it is recommended to keep your steam room session to 10-15 minutes. What will steam rooms and saunas NOT do? They won't help you lose weight. While an extended session in a sauna will help you lose a few pounds, it will be in water weight (sweat). The verdict? Both have health benefits, and both have cautions to be aware of. If you have any kind of breathing/congestion issue, a steam room is probably best. If you are looking for more of a "detox" process for a longer (and hotter) period, then a sauna may be a better choice. At the end of the day, it's best to listen to your body. Try them both, and use what you like/feel is best for you! Recovery Afterwards: Drink lots of water and herbal tea to replace fluids lost through sweat. Electrolytes will need to be replaced. Fruit is a great choice. If doing an extended sauna session, weigh yourself before and after, and drink an additional litre of water for every pound of bodyweight lost. Make sure you spend some time stretching and hold the stretches for a minimum of 10 minute. Eat healthy, nourishing foods. Avoid high-fat (deep fried) and processed foods, as well as caffeine and alcohol, that will dehydrate you quickly. Fitness is a body condition that helps you look, feel and do your best. This means that you are able to rely on your body to perform when you need it, whether it be enjoying a brisk walk on a beautiful fall day, doing daily household tasks, bench pressing your own body weight or running a race. You are the only one who can set your fitness goals. Your present fitness level, health, age, skills, convenience and interest are among the factors to consider. When you start out slowly, you will discover that it will be very easy to take it to the next level. A good fitness level helps in controling blood pressure because regularly exercising and staying active builds up a stronger heart. Physical activity increases blood pressure. However, after stopping the activity, your blood pressure will return to normal, and this process becomes easier as you get involved in more physical activity. Regular physical fitness makes the heart not to have to work too hard in increasing blood pressure, reducing the force on the arteries and also reducing the overall blood pressure. Fitness can also helps to prevent cancer, especially if each week, you do a minimum of 75 minutes of vigorous intensity physical activity or 150 minutes of moderate intensity physical activity; you are not underweight but you are as lean as possible without becoming; children do at least one hour of vigorous or moderate physical activity each week; you limit the consumption of energy packed foods and avoid sugar; for at least 30 minutes every day, you are physically active; you have a balanced diet with a variety of vegetables, fruits, grains and legumes; you limit alcoholic drinks to one if you are a woman or two if you are a man; you limit the consumption of red meats, sodium intake and the consumption of processed meats. The immune system is improved through fitness, depending on the concentration of endogenous factors (such as metabolic hormones, sex hormones and growth hormones), blood flow, body temperature, body position and hydration status. Flexibility is very important in fitness. Flexibility smoothly links movements together and can help in preventing injuries. Various activities increase flexibility, all designed to stretch ligaments, joints and tendons. Generally, good fitness levels regulate the distribution of fat in the body, and helps you to keep obesity in check. Aerobic exercise directly affects abdominal fat, specifically visceral fat. Strength training can reduce body fat and increase the amount of muscle in the body.

http://BPgoLow.com/Virgina-Sturms-Natural-Solutions-To-High-BP How to lower blood pressure quickly when you find its shot up - soak your feet in warm water. You will get almost immediate but temporary relief. I was so luck I knew about this solution when I had my own emergency, the day my BP shot way too high. A megadose of a supplement I took (Vit B12) backfired. If you're ever in such a quandary, what do you do - call your doctor, go to the ER? Yes, please do that. For me, I soaked my feet in warm water. I'm not recommending this as a substitute for proper medical treatment. I'm just saying this is what I did myself, and it worked for me. One day, before leaving home, my BP was 171/113. They say high BP (hypertension) is a "silent disease", but it does whisper softly. I felt it. It was an uncomfortable feeling, a strong sense of "something isn't right". For some it may be a slight headachy feeling, or a tightness in the head, or dizziness. If you stop and think, you can feel it if ever your BP shoots way too high. If ever it does, you'll then be searching for answers as to how to lower blood pressure quickly, like I was. Soaking your feet can significantly reduce blood pressure. You don't need to add add anything to the water. Just plain hot tap water will do. Nothing fancy. It's the heating of the feet that does it. Why does it work? I don't know. It's a curious physiological reaction you can use to your own advantage. I made this video because if ever you need to know how to lower your blood pressure quickly, this is one natural, quick and easy solution. My BP was dropped from about 170/100 down to 140/80, rising a bit thereafter, but not as high as it was before the feet soaking treatment. What a RELIEF!!! I hope you find this video on lowering blood pressure quickly helpful to you. Good luck with managing your hypertension. Once you know how to lower your blood pressure quickly, and get your BP down to safer levels, if you need to find other more permanent solutions for natural BP reduction, please go to http://BPgoLow.com/Virgina-Sturms-Natural-Solutions-To-High-BP

Ice baths are becoming more and more popular with professional athletes as well as the so-called weekend warriors. Immersing tired joints and muscles in ice water stimulates blood flow and reduces inflammation. It causes the veins to constrict, removes toxins from the blood, and alleviates the delayed on-set of muscles soreness. So, if it works for people who have done strenuous exercise, then others should be able to adopt a similar regime an expect good results too. Many health professionals involved in physical therapy are considering the health benefits of acupuncture and its relationship to Eastern medicine. Within these circles, the importance of having healthy feet is widely accepted as essential for overall health. They reason that the nerves in our body, all the way down to our feet are connected. A certain area of our feet where the nerve endings exist may affect the nervous system, while another area could affect the pulmonary system. So, damage to our feet could result in serious internal issues throughout our bodies. By putting these two theories together, we arrive at the conclusion that caring for our feet and improving blood flow from the foundation up, could improve our general health. Then, why not try an ice bath for your feet? It’s meant to be done for two weeks, and is best done in the evening so you can relax. It also doesn’t take long to prepare or to perform. Plus, you’ll be strengthening your immune system. You can do this even when your suffering from a minor illness like a cold or the flu. Here’s what you’ll need: - A bucket large enough to completely immerse your feet in; - Tap water; - About 20 pieces of ice. Here’s what you’ll do: Put the water and ice cubes in the bucket and wait for the water to get nice and cold. Put your feet in the water until they’re totally submerged. At first, you’ll want to remove your feet, but don’t worry, they’ll quickly get warm in the ice bath. Your body will compensate by trying to regulate its temperature. Count to 15 and remove your feet. These researchers found that lying in a hot bath and relaxing can be as beneficial and healthy for you as a 30-minute walk. The researchers had 14 men in this study and had them perform a one-hour bicycle ride followed by a one hour bath in water that was approximately 40C. While the one-hour bike ride burned more calories, the researchers found that the relaxing bath could burn as many as 130 calories due to the increase in body temperature. The goal of this experiment was to raise the body temperature by one-degree Celsius over an hour. According to The Conversation, the researchers at Loughborough University wanted to see the effects of a hot bath on blood sugar control which is an integral part of the metabolism of the human body. Thus, the researchers examined the study participant’s blood sugar levels 24 hours after each experiment. They found that the overall blood sugar response was extremely similar between men who just cycled and men who cycled and then took a hot bath. However, peak blood sugar was about 10 percent lower when the men took a hot bath for an hour after they exercised. Researchers concluded that ‘passive heating’ helps in reducing inflammation and in Finland, it is used as a form of medical treatment. A 2015 study done in Finland found that men who visited saunas frequently showed a reduced risk of having a heart attack or a stroke. The next year, the University of Oregon concluded that regular hot baths can help lower blood pressure In an interview done with The Conversation, the lead author of the study, Steve Faulkner, said: ‘many cultures swear by the benefits of a hot bath. But only recently has science began to understand how passive heating (as opposed to getting hot and sweaty from exercise) improves health.’ The researchers in the study concluded that heat shock proteins (HSPs) are the reason for the blood sugar regulation. Heat shock proteins have been found to be lower in people with type 2 diabetes and after some exercise and ‘passive heating,’ these heat shock proteins tend to increase which help with controlling one’s blood sugar levels.

Epsom salt provides a wealth of health and beauty benefits. Its secret ingredient is the chemical compound magnesium sulfate. The body uses magnesium to regulate hundreds of enzymes and also plays a vital role in many bodily functions. A magnesium deficiency can result in high blood pressure, osteoporosis and migraines. Sulfate plays a role in the formation of brain tissue and improves the body’s absorption of essential nutrients. In today’s video we’ll highlight the top health benefits of Epsom salt. 1. Eases Aches & Pains The next time your body has aches and pains, reach for Epsom salt. Its magnesium can alleviate swelling and inflammation. It also has been shown to help lower high blood pressure, and prevent osteoporosis and migraines. Magnesium reduces stiffness, inflammation and most pain associated with arthritis, including gout. This miracle worker assists in bone mineralization, promotes nerve functionality and soothes nerve pain. 2. Aids Detoxification The magnesium in Epsom salt assists in eliminating harmful toxins from the body and detoxifies cells to flush out environmental contaminants. 3. Stress reliever Epsom salt can relieve stress, which can drain the body of magnesium and increases adrenaline levels. It also can trigger the release and uptake of serotonin, a mood-enhancing chemical in the brain. The proper levels of serotonin regulate anxiety, and creates feelings of well-being and relaxation. Three times a week, add 1 cup of Epsom salt to a warm bath and soak for 20 minutes. 4. Relieves Muscle Cramps Epsom salt is a great remedy for treating muscle cramps or relieving sore muscles after workouts. The magnesium reduces inflammation which eases pain. This in turn promotes muscle relaxation and healing. Make a thick paste of Epsom salt and hot water. Apply it on the affected area for 15 to 20 minutes for soothing comfort. 5. Improves Digestion Epsom salt assists in the elimination of harmful toxins and waste products from the body and the digestive system. It also works as a laxative in treating constipation. Dissolve 1 or 2 teaspoons of Epsom salt in 1 cup of warm water. Drink on an empty stomach once a day. 6. Adds Volume to Hair Epsom salt can add body to your hair, remove excess oil from your scalp and keep both healthy. Over time, chemicals in shampoos and conditioners can accumulate on the scalp and can result in oily hair, thinning hair and hair loss. The minerals in Epsom salt can repair and strengthen damaged hair. To make a voluminous hair mask, mix equal parts of a warm deep conditioner and Epsom salt. Apply to slightly damp hair. Leave on for 15 to 20 minutes. Rinse thoroughly with cold water. Note: Only use this treatment once a week. If you have oily hair, add a little bit of Epsom salt to your shampoo and wash your hair as usual. Do this no more than twice a week. 7. Exfoliates Skin To maintain a healthy, glowing complexion, it’s essential to exfoliate once or twice a week to eliminate dead skin cells. Exfoliation also removes excess oil from skin pores so your skin doesn’t become fertile ground for itchiness, pimples, blackheads and other common problems. Gently rub a handful of Epsom salt over damp skin to remove dead skin cells. Rinse with warm water and pat dry. 8. Improves Heart Health Epsom salt is also heart friendly. The magnesium improves blood circulation, which decreases the chances of heart disease and strokes. Magnesium helps maintain a normal heart rhythm and healthy arteries. Healthy arteries will mean there is less risk of developing blood clots, plaque buildup and damage to arterial walls. Enjoy an Epsom salt bath 3 times a week to improve your cardiovascular health and reduce the risk of heart attack. 9. Alleviates Foot Problems Rough and callused feet also need tender care. Epsom salt can soften dry, rough heels. Its natural properties work wonders in diminishing foot odor, and also improve athlete’s foot and other foot problems. Add ½ cup of Epsom salt to a foot tub filled with warm water and soak for 10 minutes daily. Symptoms should improve soon. When taken internally, Epsom salt can cause adverse side effects, including gastrointestinal irritation, diarrhea, nausea and vomiting. Consult your doctor before taking Epsom salt. Do not take it longer than 1 week. But, it turns out that in order to get the greatest benefits from drinking liquid in the morning you should enjoy a cup of hot water instead. Multiple studies have shown that drinking hot water on an empty stomach offers a lot of health benefits and is one of the best ways to start your day to get maximum productivity. Here is a brief list of some of those health benefits: 1. Relieves pain Drinking hot water has the ability to reduce swelling in the throat, which in turn provides temporary relief of pain. In fact, it does wonders for irritated and dry throats, too. This is especially useful in the mornings when you wake up with a dry throat that causes pain when swallowing. Surprisingly, a noticeable improvement can be experienced after taking the first sip of hot water. Ultimately, hot water also relieves cramps by relaxing the muscles of the stomach. 2. Improves bowel movements A study by the Journal of Neurogastroenterology and Motility has shown that up to 58 percent of patients suffering from achalasia, a condition in which the muscles of the lower esophagus do not relax, experienced a noticeable improvement in their condition after Of drinking hot water. Drinking a glass of warm water on an empty stomach is a good way to stimulate the colon to move the intestines easier. In addition, it sets the body for better absorption of food during the day. 3. Improves circulation Drinking hot water improves blood flow in the body's circulatory system. It has been scientifically proven that when the body is exposed to hot temperature, the blood cell flow initially raises by a dramatic amount. Then, it returns to normal blood flow velocity and begins to increase gradually more time is exposed to warmth. Hot water basically improves circulation by heating the body from the inside. 4. Weight Loss While staying well hydrated is generally beneficial for weight loss, it turns out that taking it warm is the best way to consume this liquid. In a study conducted by the Journal of Natural Science, Biology and Medicine focused on a group of overweight women who were given a lot of hot water. At the end of the study, it was found that women had experienced a noticeable decrease in appetite, weight and body mass index. Why is drinking cold water bad for you? Having a glass of cold water on a hot summer day is one of the best feelings of all! In fact, it helps to cool down in a matter of seconds, but does many other things to your body at the same time. Unfortunately, those things are not good for you. Cold water constricts blood vessels, which in turn reduces hydration Drinking cold water causes the body to work hard to digest food as cold liquids solidify the fats in the bloodstream The body expands energy when you drink cold water to warm it up and use it Cold water forms excess mucus in the respiratory system, leading to congestion and an increased risk of infections such as throat infection

The many obese women who develop painful ovarian cysts can improve their health by soaking in a hot tub, surprising new research has found. While losing weight would be the biggest game-changer, researchers found a dip in a jacuzzi is an effective short-term measure to prevent related heart woes.Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which affects one in 10 women under 45 and is more common in obese women, can take a toll on the heart, increasing risks of diabetes and dangerous inflammation. However, a small study by the University of Oregon suggests hot water baths can act as an antidote to that inflammation.Lead author of the study Brett Romano Ely, who is presenting the research for the first time today at the 2018 Experimental Biology meeting in San Diego, explains that his work builds on the burgeoning field of research into heat therapy, and its myriad of benefits, even for severe health issues. It is the first study to examine impacts in women with PCOS and the first to look at changes in fat tissue before and after heat therapy.'Our findings are exciting because repeated heat exposure appears to reverse some of the inflammation in fat that may be causing metabolic health impairment in this population,' said Ely, a doctoral candidate in the department of human physiology at the University of Oregon.'Along with this reduction in inflammation, we observed improvements in functional outcomes related to insulin resistance.'This means that regular hot tub use could potentially be used as a therapy in populations with an elevated risk of developing metabolic diseases like type 2 diabetes.'To investigate, Ely monitored six obese women with PCOS for two months.During that time, they each went for one-hour sessions in a hot tub up to four times a week.Researchers analyzed samples of fat tissue taken at the beginning and end of the study and also tested insulin sensitivity in four of the women. At the end of two months, the women showed reductions in fasting glucose during an oral glucose tolerance test (indicating a reduced risk of developing diabetes), reduced blood pressure and heart rate (indicating a reduced risk of heart disease) and other improvements in measures of heart health and metabolism.Surprisingly, some participants reported having regular menstrual cycles during the study, suggesting that heat could help mitigate some of the underlying physiological processes involved in PCOS.Researchers speculate that sitting in a hot tub can yield some of the same benefits as aerobic exercise because both activities raise body temperature. This triggers an increase in the flow of blood to the skin as a cooling mechanism.'We see blood flow patterns in subjects in the hot tub that look like what we see in subjects during aerobic exercise, so this change in blood flow may have a similar benefit to exercise on blood vessel health,' Ely said.In addition, heat exposure causes the body to increase proteins known as heat shock proteins, which are involved in reduci AutoNews- Source: http://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-5652507/Obese-women-soak-HOT-TUBS-lower-risks-deadly-heart-woes.html?ITO=1490&ns_mchannel=rss&ns_campaign=1490

Get rid of brown fat with cold showers! Gain alertness and boost your immune system. Both cold and hot showers are said to be good for our blood pressure. So which is best? A funny thing about showering is that, showering less may be best!! Or showering with very cold water ...? Leda who lives in California barely showers - because it strips the natural oils off of her skin. When she does shower- once or twice a week, she uses warm water - she says actually warm water followed by cool water is best for you because of the constriciton and relaxation of the blood vessels, and muscles. After her shower she slathers with coconut oil - and then she uses magnesium hydroxide as a deoderant!! Which I wish to check out! When you get in the tub and the temperature is hot, your heart works harder and faster so that your body can disperse excess heat. In the process, your increased blood flow is producing extra oxygen and your cells are being revitalized. While there may be an initial uptick in blood pressure, your increased warmth will cause cells to dilate, decreasing resistance against the heart and lowering your overall blood pressure. It should be noted that those with high blood pressure should avoid going back and forth between the hot tub and the pool, as this may increase blood pressure.

That feeling when you're utterly drained of energy, and nothing can entice you to get off the couch and get moving. Low energy levels can make it difficult to be productive at work or to engage in everyday activities.Feeling Tired All the Time Fortunately, there are natural ways to get a lift in energy. Whether they are quick fixes that work in the short-term, or lifestyle habits that help you to have longer-lasting energy with longer term benefits, here are top 6 natural energy boosters. 1.Increase your magnesium. magnesium is needed for more than 300 biochemical reactions in our body, including baking glucose down into energy. This means that low magnesium levels can have a very quick impact on our energy levels, causing them to drop. Magnesium rich food includes spinach, chard, bananas, almonds, Avocado, etc. You can also try taking an Epsom salt bath which not only relaxes your muscles but will make you sleep better at night. 2.Start your day with Lemon water. Lemon-juice is packed with electrolytes like magnesium and potassium, which are essential for energy production. Squeeze juice out of half a lemon and add it to 150 ml of warm water. Add a pinch of salt and drink it first thing in the morning to start your day off with an energy boost. 3.Get plenty of sleep each night. While you sleep, your body repairs itself and the brain restores its energy supply so that you can wake up in the morning feeling ready for the day. Depriving yourself of sleep can drain your body because sleep acts like a charger that charges your brain cells and replenishes your energy levels. • Adults typically need between seven and nine hours of sleep each night. • To sleep better, try having a warm glass of milk with a pinch of turmeric powder before bedtime. 4.Get more Exercise. Physical activity is a known energy booster, and can also help you get a better night's sleep. Physical activity releases ‘happy hormones’ called endorphins. Endorphins helps in elevating the mood and regulation of your appetite, all of which can help to boost your energy levels. 5.Drink plenty of water. Inadequate water consumption can lead to dehydration, which causes fatigue and feelings of low-energy. Help fight fatigue by staying hydrated throughout the day. • Experts recommend drinking 8 to 10 glasses of water each day to stay properly hydrated. 6.Laugh! Laughter is so important in this stressful world. A good belly laugh can raise your blood pressure and boost your heart rate. This means more oxygen-rich blood travelling through your brain and your body, and a quick boost of positive energy. It isn't nice to feel drained, but often it's a vicious cycle. We feel too tired to exercise or eat properly, which only saps our vitality more. The best advice? Use those last traces of energy to get up, have a drink of water and eat some energy food. Go for a quick ten-minute walk, have a stretch, and you'll feel a whole lot better. How to Improve Blood Circulation Step 1 Walk regularly. Going for walks after meals can help increase circulation and aid your digestive system in doing its job. Walking at least 30 minutes each day is recommended. Step 2 Exercise whenever you can. Anything that aids in general fitness should boost your circulation. When you work out, try both: Cardiovascular training. Swimming, biking, running, playing sports, etc. Aerobic activity will improve heart and blood vessel function. Strength training. Strength training (lifting weights) will help you build muscle, which in turn increases the effectiveness of cardiovascular and lymph circulation. Step 3 Get a massage. Massage, like exercise, increases local circulation by stimulating blood flow in the soft tissue. Many studies point to the overall effectiveness of massage in stimulating healing. Read this article on how to desk exercise, or exercise while sitting at your desk. It should help improve circulation if you can't find the time to do proper exercises. Step 4 Put your feet up. Elevating your legs is a great way to increase your circulation and relax at the same time. It also reduces the chance of varicose veins, which are caused by high blood pressure or simply standing for extended periods of time. Step 5 Eat healthy foods and avoid unhealthy foods. Eat fruits, vegetables, whole grains, lean proteins, and healthy fats (found in fish oil, olive oil, nuts, and seeds). Stay away from overly processed foods, foods with excessive sugar or salt, and foods with unhealthy fats (saturated and trans fats). Step 6 Drink right. Drink enough water during the day so that your organs don't have to fight to produce energy and perform their daily functions. You don't have to drink liters upon liters a day, but you should drink water when you're thirsty. Try drinking some warm water, as cold water is known to close up your veins. Cut out the caffeine. If you can't live without it, at least minimize your intake. For instance, if you usually have two cups of coffee in the morning, have one instead. Or if you buy your coffee from a cafe somewhere, try switching to decaf or taking your coffee down one size. Cut out alcohol and other sugary drinks from your diet. Sodas and overly sweet drinks do not improve your circulation and have especially deleterious health effects. Step 7 Try taking a hot bath or doing other heat treatments. Draw up a nice warm bath (with or without Epsom salts, which are healing mineral salts) and relax for 20 to 30 minutes. Fill up hot water bottles, cover if necessary to avoid burns, and place on extremities to boost blood flow. Step 8 Quit smoking, if applicable. Not only is smoking bad for your health, it also affects your circulation. Nicotine usage is among the leading causes of circulation problems. Step 9 Find healthy outlets for your stress. Over time, stress can have negative effects on the body's circulation. Find manageable, healthy ways to relieve stress, such as regular exercise, meditation techniques, and psychotherapy, among others. Step 10 Know if it's bad. Be able to spot when your body is having trouble pumping its blood. Signs that your circulation is less than ideal include: Tingling in the feet and hands Cold extremities (fingers and toes) Bluish-tinted skin Slow healing times for wounds Step 11 Talk to your doctor about possibly enhancing circulation through supplements. Your doctor may be able to prescribe or point you in the direction of certain supplements that, in healthy doses, may improve blood circulation. One study suggests that a combination supplement of green tea, astralagus, goji berry extracts, Lactobacillus fermentum, antioxidant ellagic acid, and other vitamins, available OTC, helps increase overall levels of hematopoietic stem cells. ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Follow us on: Twitter https://twitter.com/joneleaverhowto Google+ https://plus.google.com/u/0/104910713098550407918 Tumblr https://joneleaverhowto.tumblr.com/ pinterest https://www.pinterest.com/joneleaverhowto/ website https://joneleaverhowto.blogspot.com/ channel https://www.youtube.com/joneleaver_howto ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Thanks for watching If you like this video then must give it a like And do not forget to subscribe our channel ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ also visit https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCwMQrfy2_3pXIUH83QtqgBw -------------------------------------------------------------------------- Credit goes to wikihow
