What Is Relation Of High Blood Pressure To Hypothyroidism? 7 Warning Signs You May Have a Thyroid Problem
The thyroid gland may be small, but any imbalance in its functionality can potentially damage your health. This hormone-producing gland, which resembles a butterfly is located in the front of the neck. When the hormone level dips too low, your body will send several warning signals. In today’s video, we will describe seven indicators that are calling for your attention. 1. Throat Discomfort With its location being so close to the skin, you will be able to feel it. People experience high levels of discomfort and inflammation in the neck and throat areas. Constant sore throats and changes in a person’s voice should be viewed as flashing lights that are signaling something’s wrong. 2. Difficulty concentrating Confusion is often attributable to aging. But if the situation continues to worsen and you begin forgetting normal day-to-day routines and lack the ability to focus, it’s time to visit your physician. Middle-aged women may falsely associate these types of symptoms with menopause or other age-related conditions. Luckily, when patients with hypothyroidism receive proper treatment, they are pleasantly surprised at how quickly their memories return to normal. When in doubt, always remember to consult your doctor and avoid temptations to self-diagnose. 3. Hair loss and dry skin Many people notice hair loss, especially in spring and winter. If the hair loss is really pronounced or lasts beyond these seasons, it may indicate trouble is brewing in your thyroid gland. Another visible symptom to watch for is a significant change in your skin and its texture. Dry, itchy skin is the result of a slower metabolism and reduced perspiration. This is a signal that there’s a change in the thyroid’s hormone secretion. 4. Weight changes A sudden increase or decrease in weight for no apparent reason should be a cause for concern. In fact, it’s one of the most common symptoms of hypothyroidism. As the thyroid continues to function poorly, the entire body – including your senses - will be affected. You will experience noticeable changes in taste; foods no longer taste the same. 5. Constant fatigue If you begin to notice that your body is requiring more sleep each night, this may be a signal that your thyroid gland is malfunctioning. When you do manage to sleep longer and the fatigue remains, it’s time to make an appointment with your doctor. Something else to watch for is unexplained muscle aches and cramps. 6. Mood changes and stomach pressure An excess or deficit supply of thyroid hormones can increase irritability, anxiety and agitation. This may spark feelings of constant sadness and depression because it alters the levels of serotonin in the brain. Also, you may experience difficulties with digestion and stomach pressure that doesn’t improve with a balanced diet and physical exercise. 7. Palpitations, high blood pressure and other symptoms If you begin to notice palpitations in your neck, this is a reason to contact your physician. Another symptom that accompanies the palpitations is high blood pressure. Bad cholesterol levels may also rise. As you can see, the thyroid has command over many body functions. When things aren’t working right inside this small gland, it can trigger many symptoms from weight gain to something more serious. If these warning signs are ignored, the problem will only worsen. Address your concerns with your doctor as soon as possible. Why do high blood sugar and blood pressure lead to thyroid problems? - Dr. Sanjay Gupta
We already know that diabetes patients having a high blood sugars are having a high blood pressure also but there is one more arena, one more angle which most commonly patient’s in the middle community comes across is the thyroid problems. So thyroid problems are a very big word. We come across more hypothyroid patients. That means it is more underactive thyroid. It is not inactive, but underactive thyroid. It is a preexisting or a coexisting problem in diabetes patients. Infact it is the other way round. Recent studies have been telling that maybe the thyroid patients especially the hypothyroid can be a harbeinger of diabetic conditions. But there is still more research on this. Still there are studies going on. Blood pressure, blood sugar and thyroid. They are commonly coexisting problems and each one should be equally given importance. Diabetes is a syndrome, it is a condition, it can accomplish, it can encompass a lot of things, a lot of other organs in the body. But if you see diabetes and thyroid, they come under endocrine problems; they come under the endocrine system, majorly involving hormones. Diabetes is involving hormones, especially insulin and thyroid involves thyroid hormones and trending more towards hypothyroidism. We have found more coexisting conditions and we treat thyroid disorder as a thyroid disorder. We generally look for screening when we come to thyroid problems and to look for screening when we come across diabetes and vice versa. So it is not exactly pathognomonic, but we cannot ignore it also. So right now we are dealing with a syndrome which has multiple factors and multiple areas of treatment and multiple areas of management. Hypothyroidism has to be taken good care and these are very common but remember that they can also exist in isolation. Not all hypothyroid patients can end up with diabetes.
Importance of turmeric | Blood Pressure | Thyroid Treatment
American researchers have approved turmeric as beneficial and charismatic in treating various diseases except piles due to its anti-bacterial, pain relieving, depression and blood pressure combating qualities. Take half spoon water melon seeds or dalchini for regulating blood pressure. Drink hot turmeric milk in which munakka (raisins) have been boiled to cure constipation and piles. Thyroid patients should introduce boiled coriander seeds' water in their morning regimen till 6 months; press ring finger under the grip of thumb. Weight reduction is possible by including mixed roasted flour of wheat, barley and gram for preparing chapattis; by covering the belly with damp cotton cloth over which tie a woolen cloth till half an hour. Soak your feet in warm water in which alum and salt should be mixed then, apply the paste of roasted turmeric and honey at night to heal chapped heels. Get rid of knee pain by dipping them into warm water having salt, alum and lime (choona) in it. Level uric acid by eating cooked vegetable of small brinjals and have hot water following every meal and at the interval of every 2 hours.

How To Take Levothyroxine Properly | Best Way To Take Thyroid Medication | When To Take Synthroid
How To Take Synthroid Properly | Best Way To Take Levothyroxine Correctly | When To Take Thyroid Medication After Eating Hey guys! This weeks video is all about how to take your thyroid medication properly to get the most out of it. Levothyroxine is a medicine used to treat an underactive thyroid gland (hypothyroidism) which affects 1 in 70 women and 1 in 1,000 men in the UK. The thyroid gland makes thyroid hormone which helps to control energy levels and growth. Levothyroxine is taken to replace the missing thyroid hormone. KEY FACTS: • Levothyroxine starts working straight away, but it may be several weeks before your symptoms start to improve. • The most common side effects of levothyroxine are caused by taking a bigger dose than you need. Your doctor can lower your dose to help reduce any side effects. • Before you start taking levothyroxine, your healthcare professional will do a blood test to see what dose you need. Once you start taking the medicine you'll have regular blood tests to see how well it’s working. HOW AND WHEN TO TAKE: • Unless told otherwise by your prescriber or healthcare professional take levothyroxine once a day in the morning, ideally at least 30-60 minutes before having breakfast or a drink containing caffeine like tea or coffee. • Both breakfast and caffeinated drinks can stop your body taking in levothyroxine properly so it doesn't work as well. • If you can't take it first thing in the morning on an empty stomach take levothyroxine at least 2 hours after eating food. • If you buy any medicines, check with a pharmacist that they are safe to take with levothyroxine. Levothyroxine should not be taken at the same time as indigestion remedies or preparations containing calcium or iron (which are contained in some vitamin products). These types of medicines reduce the amount of levothyroxine absorbed by your body. Leave at least 2-4 hours between taking your dose of levothyroxine and any such preparation. • Soya interferes with thyroxine absorption, therefore if you are taking thyroxine you should try to avoid soya. If you wish to take soya, there should be as long a time interval as possible between eating the soya and taking the thyroxine. • Avoid products such as kelp, as they may interfere with thyroid function & wellbeing. Kelp is derived from seaweed and is naturally high in iodine. Because of this it is sometimes marketed as a "thyroid booster" and can be purchased in dry preparations and tablets. As with iodine itself, it is of no health benefit to those with thyroid disease. • Levothyroxine medication interactions link - https://bnf.nice.org.uk/interaction/levothyroxine.html (THIS LINK ONLY WORKS IF YOU LIVE IN THE UK. -Here's an alternative, pop in all your medicines and check for specific interactions- https://www.drugs.com/drug_interactions.html BLOOD TESTS: Your healthcare professional will do regular blood tests to check the levels of thyroid hormones in your body before and after starting levothyroxine. These will allow your doctor to adjust your dose to suit you. At the start of treatment you can expect to have blood tests often. Once your hormone levels are stable, you’ll usually have a blood test after 4 to 6 months, and after that once a year. You may need blood tests more often if you: • Are pregnant • Start or stop a medicine that can interfere with levothyroxine • Have any symptoms that could mean your dose is not quite right MISSED DOSES: If you forget to take a dose, take it as soon as you remember, unless it's almost time for your next dose. In which case just skip the forgotten dose. Do not take 2 doses together to make up for a missed dose. If you forget doses often, it may help to set an alarm to remind you. You could also ask your pharmacist for advice on other ways to help you remember to take your medicine. Want to see more videos about everything health and pharmacy? Hypothyroidism increases blood pressure Mark Starr MD
Hi, this is Larry Hobbs @ FatNews.com. http://fatnews.com/ https://twitter.com/fatnews Mark Starr, MD tells how Broda Barnes, MD, PhD found that low thyroid increases blood pressure. Mark Starr is the author of the wonderful book "Hypothyroidism Type 2: The Epidemic". Mark Starr, MD defines Type 2 hypothyroidism. "Type 1 Hypothyroidism I’ve defined as failure of the thyroid gland to produce sufficient amounts of thyroid hormones necessary to maintain normal blood levels of those hormones and normal blood levels of the thyroid stimulating hormone, the TSH, produced by the pituitary gland." "Type 2 Hypothyroidism is peripheral resistance to thyroid hormones at the cellular level." "It is NOT due to a lack of thyroid hormones." "Normal amounts of thyroid hormones and thyroid stimulating hormone (TSH) are usually detected by blood tests." "Therefore, blood tests do NOT detect Type 2 Hypothyroidism." "Type 2 Hypothyroidism is usually inherited however, environmental toxins may also cause or exacerbate the problem." "Type 2 Hypothyroidism has yet to be recognized by mainstream medicine, but is already epidemic." "There is a lot of ‘Subclinical Hypothyroidism’ but I can guarantee you that it is anything but subclinical." Mark Starr, MD 21st Century Pain & Sports Medicine 10565 N. Here Is How To Reduce Hypertension or High Blood Pressure At Home!
Here Is How To Reduce Hypertension or High Blood Pressure At Home! The hypertension or high blood pressure can be caused by genetics, thyroid disorders, toxic body burden, smoking, unhealthy diet, sedentary lifestyle, chronic stress, weight and age. People usually have combination of these factors. It is important to remember that it is one of the ‘silent killers’. That is why it is important to do the periodic blood pressure tests. A healthy blood pressure is 120 over 80. The 1st number measures the heart beating pressure and the 2nd measures the pressure of the resting heart. As there are numerous factors that can cause hypertension, there are many problems that can happen if it is left untreated. Hypertension increases the blood flow resistance in the vessels and forces the heart to work harder. High blood pressure contributes to hardening of the arteries. It is also associated with sexual dysfunction, blindness, aneurysms, dementia, kidney disease and cardiovascular disease. To control it, you need to make some changes in your lifestyle, diet and other contributing factors. If the blood pressure is reduces by 5-6 pints, the risk of stroke is cut by 40% and heart disease by 15%. There are numerous effective medications like ACE inhibitors, diuretics and beta blockers, but they can produce some side effects like rapid heartbeat, dizziness, headaches, fatigue, respiratory problems, depression, leg cramps and insomnia. The high blood pressure is profitable market for the drug companies as it is a common and chronic disease. Once a person starts on these drugs, they take them often for the long term. Drugs aren’t the only choice. There are numerous ways that it can be controlled naturally. If you have hypertension and you’re on medication, you shouldn’t stop taking them without medical advice from the health care provider. -For those who try to control the blood pressure, it is recommended to address potential weight issues. It is important to increase the physical activity and consume anti-inflammatory foods like lean proteins, healthy fats and fresh fruits and vegetables. You need to lower the intake of sodium as the salt retains body fluids and increases the blood volume. Reduce the salty snack like salted nuts, crackers and chips and choose mineral-rich and natural salt like Himalayan and Celtic. Smoking and consuming alcohol also affects the cardiovascular health. They can put a lot of stress on the heart and lead to hypertension and arterial hardening. The body evolved many mechanisms to respond to dangers. One of them is a rapid heartbeat to increase the blood flow and it is accompanied by increased blood pressure. But the real problem is the chronic stress and the background anxiety has huge physiological impact. The cortisol and the other stress hormones stay elevated wearing down the defenses and fueling chronic inflammation. The results are increased risk of cardiovascular disease and hypertension and many degenerative diseases. Meditation is a proven way to reduce the chronic stress. Another way to relieve stress is long walks. -The diet is one of the most critical approaches to high blood pressure controlling. The DASH diet is a specific diet that can lower the blood pressure. It means Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension. It recommends whole grains, veggies and fruits. Also, part of this diet is the potassium-rich foods like bananas and green leafy veggies like kale and spinach. Reduce the trans fats and sugar because these foods fuel inflammation which can increase the risk of hypertension, damage heart health and harden the arteries. https://youtu.be/EQ9t3iPaj-0

► TOP 10 Causes Of High Blood Pressure
How I lowered my dad's blood pressure, without drugs or diets ►►http://drsam.co/yt/SeeItYourself ======================================= Top 10 Causes Of High Blood Pressure ======================================= 1. AGE Most people don’t realize that AGE is one of the BIGGEST factors for high blood pressure. I discuss this in my very important article, but what’s important to note is that after the age of 40, 33% of the population has high blood pressure and after the age of 60, over 71% of the population has hypertension! So, if you’re over the age of 40 and have high blood pressure, it may not be your fault. But it IS your responsibility to fix it right away and here is how I lowered my dad’s blood pressure naturally, in just 30 days. 2. GENETICS & FAMILY HISTORY Well, not much can be done here. This is in fact my own problem because I have a family history (on my dad’s side) of hypertension, heart attacks and especially strokes. You can read more about it, include my personal favorite solution that my dad, my family and I use to promote healthy blood pressure levels, naturally! 3. SMOKING Come on people, smoking has NO health benefits. STOP smoking! 4. ALCOHOL A little bit of alcohol is okay, especially if it’s organic red wine. But drinking every night will cause damage to your heart, arteries and liver. Alcohol is a toxic and it’s acidic, both being bad for your body. 5. BEING OVERWEIGHT Similar to smoking, being overweight has no health benefits. And the older you get, the harder it is to lose that unwanted fat. 6. SODIUM Salt has its benefits actually. Regular table salt or salt found in processed foods and packages is BAD for you. However, “natural” salts such as Himalayan rock or Celtic sea salt is GOOD for you and can actually help LOWER blood pressure. I’ll discuss this in a future article. 7. STRESS Well know stress is bad. However, you can’t get rid of it. What’s important is the MEANING you give to stressful situations. If you freak out, get negative and focus on the problem the entire time … you put your body under extra stress. The secret is to focus on the SOLUTION and to know that “this too shall pass” and worrying about the problem isn’t going to help anything… Especially our blood pressure or heart. 8. LACK OF PHYSICAL ACTIVITY We sit too much these days. Just get outside and walk daily, even if it’s just for 15-20 minutes. It’ll do wonders for your physical AND mental health! 9. MEDICAL CONDITIONS This goes back to “genetics”. And if you know you have a genetic “problem”, which is making things worse, then you MUST make changes to your life-style because your body is more sensitive than the average person. This is a similar problem with my dad and why he had a stroke. 10. MEDICATION Ironically, many “heart” medications actually cause more heart PROBLEMS in the long run. They can increase your cholesterol, blood sugar or blood pressure levels. They can decrease blood flow and circulation. And they all cause extra stress on your liver and kidneys, which then cause more problems for your heart. What Causes High Blood Pressure
What Causes High Blood Pressure FREE 15min Consultation: http://eastwesthealing.com/get-start-with-a-private-consultation Visit https://eastwesthealingandperformance.leadpages.net/srmyoutube/ to download your FREE e-book! Hypothyroid people have low BP initially from adrenal insufficiency (blood sugar handling issues), which creates low circulating BV through loss of Na (holds water in the body). The kidneys and body compensate by producing more angiotensin, which raises BP. With hypothyroidism and the compensation with adrenaline, blood is shunted from extremities to the core, which raises BP through pushing blood through small network of vessels. All this is due to the body trying to raise blood sugar. ================================================ Click Below To SUBSCRIBE for more Videos: http://www.youtube.com/subscription_center?add_user=joshrubineastwest ================================================ Josh and Jeanne Rubin "Revolutionizing Nutrition For Thyroid Health" http://www.eastwesthealing.com The Metabolic Blueprint Cookbook http://www.thembcookbook.com The Metabolic Blueprint Program http://www.themetabolicblueprint.com Fight Fatigue With Food Program http://www.fightfatiguewithfood.com Amazon eBooks http://amzn.to/17NIYg4 ==================================================== Facebook: https://www.facebook.com/eastwesthealingperformance Twitter: https://twitter.com/eastwesthealing ===================================================== What Causes High Blood Pressure https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=F2nlJLK_7ds Check out our last video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MkkEP41K0VA

💔 Salt Does NOT Cause High Blood Pressure, It LOWERS It - Backed By Clinical Studies

I’ve listened to my doctor, I’ve changed my diet and I’ve removed all the salt and still, there’s barely any improvement! ” However, in regards to salt and hypertension, that’s a myth! So here’s the reality check based on facts and clinical studies - not what so-called “expert” or “website” said. High quality salt is essential for life. So logically it makes sense that salt is important and needed. As far as clinical evidence, in one study of over 6250 people, cutting salt intake did NOT reduce the risk for heart attacks, strokes or death.1 In another study in 2013, it showed that lower salt consumption actually INCREASED your risk of death from heart disease.2 A review of the available research reveals that much of the science behind the supposed link between “salt and high blood pressure” is dubious and doubtful at best. According to Scientific American:3 "Intersalt, a large study published in 19884, compared sodium intake with blood pressure in subjects from 52 international research centers and found NO relationship between sodium intake and the prevalence of hypertension. In fact, the population that ate the most salt, about 14 grams a day, had a lower median blood pressure than the population that ate the least, about 7.2 grams a day... For every study that suggests that salt is unhealthy, multiple ones reveal that it does not." So what about the studies that show lowering salt is good for blood pressure? A 2004 analysis of 11 salt-reduction trials found that over the long-term, low-salt diets decreased systolic blood pressure by 1.1 millimeters of mercury (mmHg) and diastolic blood pressure by 0.6 mmHg. That equates to reducing your blood pressure from 120/80 to 119/79.6 A 2006 study in the American Journal of Medicine study compared the reported daily sodium intakes of 78 million Americans to their risk of dying from heart disease over the course of 14 years. The study concluded that lower sodium diets led to HIGHER death rates among those with cardiovascular disease!7 I can go on and on, but I hope you see where this is leading. Salt is good for you. Not only is salt relatively benign, it's actually a nutritional goldmine,... Regular table salt will damage your health, while natural salts are profoundly healing. Here's a quick break-down of their basic ingredients: Natural salt: 84 percent sodium chloride, 16 percent naturally-occurring trace minerals, including silicon, phosphorous, vanadium, magnesium, potassium, etc. Processed (table) salt: 97.5 percent sodium chloride, 2.5 percent man-made chemicals, such as moisture absorbents and flow agents. These are dangerous chemicals. Processing table salt also radically alters and damages the structure of the salt. While natural salts, containing the minerals and electrolytes, are vital for water balance, enzyme production, stress reduction, immune system, adrenal and thyroid function. What’s The Best Salt? You want to use unrefined natural salts, such as Himalayan Salt or Celtic Sea Salt. Celtic salt is slightly better because it has a little less sodium and more magnesium. Managing Hypertension and Thyroid Cancer
The majority of patients with iodine-refractory, differentiated thyroid cancer end up developing high blood pressure (hypertension) as a result of their taking Lenvima (lenvatinib), according to Lori J. Wirth, M.D., associate professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and medical director of the Center for Head and Neck Cancers at Massachusetts General Hospital. If a patient develops hypertension during treatment, the medical team should not stop treatment, but instead find ways to manage the hypertension. This can include giving the patient blood pressure medications or stopping Lenvima for a period of time, but then re-administering the agent.

How to Control Diabetes Associated With Hypothyroidism and Hypertension
http://www.HypothyroidRevolution.org Hypothyroidism Natural Treatment - Tips For Improving Thyroid Health Hypothyroidism natural treatment options are being sought after by many people affected by hypothyroidism. This is mainly due to the side effects, costs and problems associated with traditional hypothyroidism treatment. In this article we will discuss how hypothyroidism works as well as some small things you can do to improve your overall thyroid health. http://www.HypothyroidRevolution.org Background on hypothyroidism: Hypothyroidism is a problem where the thyroid gland produces little thyroid hormone. This condition is an outcome of a dysfunction in the thyroid gland. While there are lots of reasons why the thyroid can become impaired, alternative hypothyroidism natural treatment options are showing people new ways to combat hypothyroidism. How hypothyroidism works: The thyroid is made up of two connected lobes near the front of the neck. The hormones produced by the thyroid gland control the body's metabolic rate. When the thyroid gland doesn't perform correctly, each and every organ with the entire body may be impacted. Hypothyroidism (otherwise known as an under-active thyroid) creates a general depression on the cellular systems which are needed for energy manufacturing. An under-active thyroid will cause the metabolic activities in these cells to go down. When this happens, metabolic wastes than filtrate in to the organs and this causes them to become sluggish. How hypothyroidism affects the body: Hypothyroidism will make a person constantly feel tired and low on power. As one's metabolic process slows down, weight gain and constipation normally occur. Other indicators of hypothyroidism are fatigue, lack of energy, inability to tolerate chilly temperatures, menstrual irregularities, depression, sluggish reflexes, hair loss, dry skin, brittle nails, and puffy eyes. Hypothyroidism natural treatment suggestions: What many people fail to realize is that their daily routine could be contributing to their poor thyroid health. Here is a list of some natural adjustments you can make to help combat hypothyroidism. Eliminate saturated fats from your diet. Reduce or eliminate your soy consumption. Soy is known to depress thyroid performance and can cause an enlargement of your thyroid gland. Alkalinize your body. This really is an efficient way of stopping thyroid dysfunction. Vitamin B3 has been proven to reduce thyroid hormone levels. Women must take into consideration a hormonal balancing plan with progesterone cream to revive a wholesome balance. Eat kelp and other sea vegetables that are large in iodine. Iodine is needed for making the thyroid hormone. Radishes can help keep thyroid hormones balanced. If depression is an issue, try St. John's Wort which is a natural mood elevator. Chronic constipation can be alleviated by including additional dietary fiber to your diet plan. Consider supplementing with zinc and selenium. Severe zinc or selenium deficiencies can trigger decreased thyroid hormone levels. Coconut oil stimulates the thyroid gland and may perhaps help these suffering from hypothyroidism. In the end, hypothyroidism natural treatment options are becoming more and more popular as people start to educate themselves on how hypothyroidism works. While the suggestions pointed out above are some small things you can do to combat hypothyroidism problems, there are also complete hypothyroidism natural treatment programs available that can produce fantastic results.

💓 #1 Cause Of High Blood Pressure - Shocking Facts!

I’ve done this because hypertension is called the “silent killer” because there are no symptoms for it. And of course, high blood pressure can lead to a heart attack or stroke and it’s more of a problem in my opinion, than having “high” cholesterol. Additionally, going from a high blood pressure (over 140/90 mmHg) to normal levels (120/80 mmHG ), let alone to ideal blood pressure levels (115/75 mmHG) dramatically improves your life by1 38% lower risk of heart failure; 43% lower risk of cardiovascular death; 27% lower risk of mortality overall. However, today I’m going to reveal the #1 cause of high blood pressure and NO, it’s not your diet, lack of exercise or stress! It’s because of the negative changes in your hormones, due to AGING! First, take a look at the stats and chart from the CDC (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) of high blood pressure among adults2 over the age of 18 between 2015-2016 The first bar on the left that’s kinda black, shows the TOTAL number of people who have high blood pressure. Basically, it’s 30% of the population over the age of 18. That’s a lot. What’s worse is that this does NOT take into account PRE-hypertension numbers, which means even more people have “almost” high blood pressure and don’t even know it. The second, gray bar, shows the % from age 18-39. Men are 9.2% and women 5.6%. It’s not much, but the numbers are higher by 2% compared to 2013, just 2-3 years before and their even high in 2018.3 The third, green bar, shows the % for age 40-59. Men are at 37.2% and women 29.4%. This is a MASSIVE jump, up 420% for men and a whopping 525% for women!!! Why such a huge jump all of a sudden?... Because men’s testosterone starts to declined in his late 20’s and even more so in his 30’s. However, there’s a huge drop starting in his 40’s and it’s called “andropause”. And women, they start “menopause” in their 40’s as well, which causes massive negative changes in all their hormones - estrogen, progesterone, testosterone, adrenal and thyroid hormones Finally, the forth, lighter-green bar, shows the % for age 60 and over. Men are 58.5% and women 66.8%. Both age groups are significantly worse. But the women are much worse because the negative changes in hormones because of menopause is more dramatic than men’s “andropause” So What Does This Mean For You? Well, you’re probably thinking “great, there’s nothing I can do. I can’t turn back time, so I guess this is it?!!” No, this just means you have to be more proactive about monitoring and improving your blood pressure levels as you age, especially after the age of 40. Now, the best way to find solutions to problems, is to know the CAUSE of it. So what you need to do is make some simple lifestyle changes and utilize specific nutrients that a more “mature” body needs, because of the changes in hormones, ... so your body can help heal itself naturally, from within. This is the ONLY long-term, safe solution for improving your blood pressure and overall health… and I think you’d agree with this. In fact, this is why there are over 75 different blood pressure drugs with over a dozen different mechanism. This is also why most people with hypertension end up taking on average 2 drugs AT THE SAME TIME, to make improvements. Of course, if you have extremely high blood pressure, such as 180/120, then you MUST take a drug right away to lower it fast and get it under control immediately. YES, lifestyle matters because DIET - what you put in your body (food and liquids), EXERCISE - How much, how often and what kind. STRESS MANAGEMENT - emotional and physical SUPPLEMENTS - herbs, plant extracts, vitamins, minerals and amino acids ======================================== Thank you for watching.
