Reasons for not able to conceive is a big list it can be as Monday as stress levels nowadays all almost all the girls are going through lot of stress at workplace, family wise. So first things to look into is of course in the medical condition both the partners they should get investigated there can be some abnormalities with the hormones in the girls body may be her ovaries are not functionong properly. There are some defects structurally in uterus or genital tract which is to be looked upon, then the male partner his hormones maybe imbalance or his semen analysis is not showing the right picture. So once these are looked into when the treatment options are given to the couple then it can be a medical treatment or surgical approach for the correction of the genital tract abnormalities or the opening of the tubes or the drilling or generally looking into pelvis if there are some other abnormalities like endometroisis so these are the treatment options for the conditions What we find out and get but there are some conditions where the couples are absolutely normal you don't find any abnormalities in the test done. This couple that falls in the category of unexplained infertility so in such couples we ask them to wait and try for couple of months if it doesn't work then we would suggest to go for IVF which will really help them to get pregnant in this condition.

You mentioned that you're 16 weeks along, and up to this point, you've lost 6 pounds because you're just not interested in eating, it's more of a lack of appetite. And this could be due to the nausea that you're feeling during pregnancy. And if that's the case, talk with your OB provider, and number 1, they'll be able to tell you if this weight loss is okay for you, based on your pre-pregnancy weight, and number 2, they may be able to prescribe a medication that will help you get over the nausea so that you'll want to eat. But as for what to eat to increase your desire to eat, that's entirely up to you. If something sounds good, then eat it. But you should fill your diet full of whole grains, lots of fruits, lots of vegetables, lean protein, low-fat dairy, and healthy fat. So if you can, choose a protein and a good healthy carbohydrate, like fruits or a wholegrain, to eat with each meal and snack. And maybe try eating more frequent and smaller meals throughout the day instead of eating 3 large ones. And you might find that just keeping your stomach a little bit full all the time with a protein and a healthy carbohydrate will also ease your nausea, and maybe help you eat the amount of calories you need, and gain the appropriate amount of weight. The amount that you should gain during pregnancy is based on your pre-pregnancy weight, and again, your doctor will be able to advise you on what that is for you, based on their knowledge of your situation. Don't forget to keep taking a prenatal vitamin too. A lot of people think you just take that while you're trying to conceive, but it's also important to take over the course of the entire pregnancy and while you're breastfeeding, because it helps to ensure that you and your growing baby have the nutrition you need. So that's important too, in addition to a healthy diet. Good luck with everything, and if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/IntermountainMoms, and recommend us to your friends and family too.

Why do I ovulate and not get pregnant? I’m assuming you are not using birth control methods that would interfere with that. No, I’m trying to get pregnant. If you’ve had social diseases, the inflammation they cause can block the Fallopian tubes, preventing pregnancy. I was treated for that ages ago. The inflammation and blockage of the tubes to the ovaries will prevent conception, and that damage could have been done in the months or years before you realized you had a relatively silent disease. I get regular doctor checkups, and no one said that was an issue. You could have reproductive machinery working at full tilt but it fails because other hormones are in the way. For example, a thyroid problem could cause your body to ovulate too late in the cycle for an embryo to implant before your next period. The only hormones raging are the ones driving my biological clock. You might ovulate but not get pregnant because the endometrium is too thin, but that’s something a doctor would have to check out. You could try getting more iron and micro-nutrients in general, since that might impede conception. I’m taking prenatal vitamins now. There’s the possibility that you’re reading signs like mucus changes that suggest you are ovulating but are not really. I’m using ovulation tests as religiously now as I used to take birth control. Speaking of which, around one percent of pregnancies are reported as virgin births. This would not be a virgin birth. True, but the egg is only good for a day or two, though sperm theoretically lasts five days in her body. If you have sex a day or two after the egg’s ideal time, that would explain why you are not getting pregnant. One solution your husband would not object to, is having sex every other night to ensure that there is sperm in there whenever the egg makes its arrival So sex on the weekends means I might not get pregnant. I know it is hard to imagine, but you can indeed get busy on a Tuesday night. In fact, if you’re only doing things on the weekends, that explains why you ovulate but do not get pregnant. We can try that. Anything else that might be causing it? If you are too stressed about getting pregnant, it could interfere with both ovulation and the biochemistry to sustain implantation. I’d hate to think that my infertility could be caused by worrying about my fertility. I just need a way to relax. Amazingly, sex solves both issues, at least until you start budgeting for three.

You mentioned that you're 17 weeks along, and you have a hard time drinking water because it just doesn't taste right. And having been pregnant before, I can relate to that. Pregnancy just seems to change the taste of everything, and make things a little less appetizing. Now water can taste different in different places. Sometimes it does have a more appealing taste in some areas. If you haven't already tried it, try putting a filter in your house, and see if that makes a difference, and makes the taste more palatable to you. You mentioned that you have tried sugar packets before to see if adding flavor would help. It's best if you use sugar-free, because then you're not getting extra calories that might make you consume more than you should each day. Keep trying a few different varieties until you find one that works for you. It is very important to stay hydrated, because if you're not, then your brain will actually start to release a hormone that tells your body to retain fluid. And this same hormone mimics the hormone that causes your uterus to contract. Or in other words, if you're dehydrated, you will start to have contractions, and of course, when you're preterm, that is something you want to stay far away from doing. Generally speaking, it's best if you can drink 8 tall glasses of water a day. And the best way to tell if you're getting enough is to turn around and look at the toilet before you flush it. I know that's everyone's favorite thing to do, but if your urine is light yellow to clear, then you're getting enough to drink, whatever you're doing. But if it's apple juice color or looks a little bit concentrated, then you're not drinking enough, and should do everything you can to drink more water. I hope the best for you during your pregnancy, and if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at http://www.facebook.com/IntermountainMoms, and recommend us to your friends and family too.

Once a woman starts treatment for planning pregnancy after she has undergone treatment for ectopic pregnancy she is under immense mental pressure and trauma. She has lots of questions in her mind because most of the patients might have lost their one fallopian tube. Some of the patients still will be regaining their one fallopian tube if they have undergone medical management of ectopic pregnancy with injection methotrexate. But we have a common query when they should start planning, whether their fertility potential will be normal, how much time will they take to become pregnant or whether everything will be normal or whether there will be chances of recurrence or not. So they are under too much of emotional stress, so they need more of understanding and more of emotional support. As per data it has been found that there is no time limit to wait for planning pregnancy after you have undergone treatment for ectopic pregnancy. But, on an average we gynaecologist would say that you should wait for two to three menstrual cycles after the treatment of ectopic because the woman is out of the mental trauma from the past experience, as well as the hormonal balance comes back to normal and the ectopic pregnancy site which has been removed and stitched reverts back to normal regain its previous strength as well as comes back to normal. In some cases where the mother has undergone treatment of ectopic with injection methotrexate we tell the couple to wait atleast till the beta HCG comes back to normal and then we advice a folic acid supplement for atleast three months and then they should start planning for pregnancy. Because folic acid levels are lowered in the body by the inj.methotrexate and if there is a deficiency of folic acid it might lead to development of neural tube defect. Another common anxiety in women who have undergone ectopic pregnancy treatment is that how much time will I take to conceive as I have already lost one of my fallopian tube. But they should not be disheartened because one fallopian tube is lost, but another one is there and sometimes both the ovaries will ovulate simultaneously and sometimes only one ovary will ovulate and next time of the cycle the next ovary will ovulate. It has been found that about 65% of the women conceive with first 18 months of try and more than 85% they conceive after 2 years of try. So ideally these couple should adopt a healthy life style, they should have adequate folic acid supplementation, increased intake of green vegetables, fruits. They should try for the pregnancy by using the ovulation tests or they can go for the basal body temperature. They should try for pregnancy around the time of the ovulation. They could also take the help of the vaginal discharge or breast tenderness or the changes that happen in the middle of the month. If they don’t conceive with all these measures then they should seek the gynaecologist’s opinion. If the woman is under the age of 35, they can try for one year, no problem. But if the age is more than 35 and if within 6 months they are not getting pregnant then they should seek the gynaecologist’s advice. Here we advice them to complete thyroid hormonal assay and most important thing is a tubal patency test in which we do the histrosalpingogram and we check the patency of the fallopian tubes, whether it is open or because of previous impact it is blocked. If everything is fine and if a woman is having irregular cycle we help them in conceiving by ovulation induction, sometimes by intra uterine insemination. In persistent cases they can go for the IVF.

We discuss the seven major signs which are a definite indicator of infertility in women. We sincerely hope you are not suffering from any of these conditions, and even if you are, there is no need to panic, all these conditions while they are signs of infertility in women, can well be treated if you attend to them soon enough. There aren’t any foolproof ways to ascertain if a woman might be infertile. It is not a disorder that gives you very obvious signs and symptoms. Mostly women over the age of 35 after an unsuccessful one year of trying to conceive realise that they perhaps are infertile. Usually unable to get pregnant in about 12 months time of having unprotected intercourse is the greatest indicator that there might be a problem somewhere. This is when without any further ado you should reach out to your doctor. But be assured that infertility can be treated. And if you wish to be a mother soon there are several medical procedures including IVF. But even if you aren’t looking to have a baby just yet, you can watch out for these signs of infertility in women.

http://www.npshealth.com/?tag=vitamin-d 1.) The flu - In a study published in the Cambridge Journals, it was discovered that vitamin D deficiency predisposes children to respiratory diseases. An intervention study conducted showed that vitamin D reduces the incidence of respiratory infections in children. 2.) Muscle weakness - According to Michael F. Holick, a leading vitamin D expert, muscle weakness is usually caused by vitamin D deficiency because for skeletal muscles to function properly, their vitamin D receptors must be sustained by vitamin D. 3.) Psoriasis - In a study published by the UK PubMed central, it was discovered that synthetic vitamin D analogues were found useful in the treatment of psoriasis. 4.) Chronic kidney disease - According to Holick, patients with advanced chronic kidney diseases (especially those requiring dialysis) are unable to make the active form of vitamin D. These individuals need to take 1,25-dihydroxyvitamin D3 or one of its calcemic analogues to support calcium metabolism, decrease the risk of renal bone disease and regulate parathyroid hormone levels. 5.) Diabetes - A study conducted in Finland was featured in Lancet.com in which 10,366 children were given 2000 international units (IU)/day of vitamin D3 per day during their first day of life. The children were monitored for 31 years and in all of them, the risk of type 1 diabetes was reduced by 80 percent. 6.) Asthma - Vitamin D may reduce the severity of asthma attacks. Research conducted in Japan revealed that asthma attacks in school children were significantly lowered in those subjects taking a daily vitamin D supplement of 1200 IU a day. 7.) Periodontal disease - Those suffering from this chronic gum disease that causes swelling and bleeding gums should consider raising their vitamin D levels to produce defensins and cathelicidin, compounds that contain microbial properties and lower the number of bacteria in the mouth. 8.) Cardiovascular disease - Congestive heart failure is associated with vitamin D deficiency. Research conducted at Harvard University among nurses found that women with low vitamin D levels (17 ng/m [42 nmol/L]) had a 67 percent increased risk of developing hypertension. 9.) Schizophrenia and Depression - These disorders have been linked to vitamin D deficiency. In a study, it was discovered that maintaining sufficient vitamin D among pregnant women and during childhood was necessary to satisfy the vitamin D receptor in the brain integral for brain development and mental function maintenance in later life. 10.) Cancer - Researchers at Georgetown University Medical Center in Washington DC discovered a connection between high vitamin D intake and reduced risk of breast cancer. These findings, presented at the American Association for Cancer Research, revealed that increased doses of the sunshine vitamin were linked to a 75 percent reduction in overall cancer growth and 50 percent reduction in tumor cases among those already having the disease. Of interest was the capacity of vitamin supplementation to help control the development and growth of breast cancer specially estrogen-sensitive breast cancer. http://www.naturalnews.com/035089_vitamin_D_deficiency_signs_symptoms.html

Up to 90% of women report feeling some kind of nausea or vomiting during the first trimester of their pregnancy. So it's pretty normal if you're pregnant and you feel nauseous. Maybe you want to eat a ton all the time because that kind of keeps the nausea at bay. Maybe you don't want to eat at all, maybe you crave certain foods, or have certain food aversions and even just the thought of it makes you want to throw up. It's normal for women to have nausea from the time they find out their pregnant until about 15 or 16 weeks. Most of the time nausea subsides by this point, but sometimes it does continue throughout the entire pregnancy. And in most cases, home remedies are going to be the most helpful thing. There are a couple of over-the-counter medications that you can try - vitamin B6, vitamin B12, and ginger can help with nausea, and so can changing what you eat, when you eat it, and the type of food you eat. Many women find that if they eat small frequent meals throughout the day, it helps with the nausea, like if you keep a full stomach. And many women have found relief if they just put a few crackers at their bedside, and eat a few even before you get out of bed to go to the bathroom, and that just kind of sets a better tone for the entire day. Morning sickness is not named well because you can feel sick at any time during the day - morning, mid-day, night, even in the middle of the night. Also drink a lot of water. Some women find that if they just constantly sip on water, or suck on ice, or have hard candy in their mouth, it helps to keep the nausea at bay. But some women also find that even the taste of water turns their stomach. So if that's the case, just try adding some sort of sugar-free flavoring to your water and see if that helps. Now if all else fails, there are other medications that can help, and talk with your OB provider. Sometimes stronger medications are necessary, especially if you're not able to keep food or fluids down, because this can lead to malnutrition and other complications of pregnancy. So you definitely want to talk to your doctor if you're unable to keep food or fluids down. Hang in there, and if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at Facebook.com/IntermountainMoms, and recommend us to your friends and family too.

Hi everyone, Folate and folic acid are forms of a water-soluble B vitamin. Folate occurs naturally in food, and folic acid is the synthetic form of this vitamin. Foods that are naturally high in folate include leafy vegetables (such as spinach, broccoli, and lettuce), lady finger, fruits (such as bananas, melons, and lemons) beans, mushrooms, meat (such as liver and kidney), orange juice, and tomato juice. Folic acid is used for preventing and treating low blood levels of folate (folate deficiency), as well as its complications, including anemia and the inability of the bowel to absorb nutrients properly. Women who are pregnant or might become pregnant take folic acid to prevent spina bifida that occur when the fetus’s spine and back do not close during development. so, in this video we will discuss about folic acid deficiency and its treatment. ********************************************************************************************************* LIKE COMMENT SUBSCRIBE you may also like: Zinc की कमी के कारण/ लक्षण/ supplements की जानकारी और क्या खाये? https://youtu.be/2tMZBQw-Yrw Benefits of Himalaya Amalaki in Hindi/Health benefits of Amalaki https://youtu.be/po7JFkaG4Qo ************************************************************************************* Buy from amazon.in Zenith Nutrition Folic Acid - 2000 - 100 Capsules http://amzn.to/2AqDeIS Inlife Iron Folic Acid Supplement - 60 Tablets http://amzn.to/2j5WDLd Zenith Nutrition Folic Acid 2 mg - 200 Capsules http://amzn.to/2Aq39AE Amway Nutrilite Daily - 120 Tablets http://amzn.to/2Aq2PBN **************************************************************************************************************************************** Take care and stay healthy.... Ovarian cyst has got a tendency to recur. Polycystic ovaries they keep on coming and going. Similarly if it is functional cyst they can come and go. Functional cyst basically they are innocent. Nobody has anything for it. If it is PCO then there is lifestyle changes, going on a proper diet and taking care of the PCO by seeing scans every now and then to reassure that PCO is okay is the remedy. Cysts are something like endometrioma which is endometriotic cyst of the ovary. This is known to recur and very damaging for the pelvic area which means the tubes and the ovaries and the uterus itself. In such cases if the lady is having endometrioma it is always advisable which is more that 2 to 4 cms then she should opt for surgery. There are some injections which may help but again with them the recurrence is known. Post surgery it is always advisable for her to conceive as early as possible. In case of PCO if the lady is not conceiving of her own then she should definitely take help with the doctor and go for ovulation induction and try to conceive as fast as possible. If there are other cysts like dermoid or other kinds of germinoma then always better to get them operated and then try for pregnancy because these may cause problem during pregnancy. They may get infected, then doing surgery during pregnancy is not a good idea for either the mother or the baby.

Today, I will like to talk to you all about a question, which I’m sure all the fertility doctors have to discuss about on a daily basis. I, of course, have to have this kind of conversation every day. The question is: Dr. Zhang, I have in-vitro fertilization, so called IVF, procedure done. I have this amount of embryos transferred but I’m not getting pregnant. Why am I not getting pregnant? They told me that my embryos looks great. I am so careful and I am doing everything that you said. But why am I not getting pregnant? So I want to discuss this question with you. While we want everybody to get pregnant, we do everything possible trying to improve everybody’s chance to get pregnant. But nevertheless, we just couldn’t get everybody pregnant at any time. And this is the question that we all have to discuss about. So, let’s talk about this subject. The answer is one of the two. If you are not getting pregnant after embryo transfer, either the quality of the embryos are not good enough or your environment, your body, the uterus, or the uterine cavity, are not optimal to receive the embryos. So this will be one of the two reasons. 70% of the time is due to the embryo quality and 30% of the time is due to endometrial environment, your body. While there is no crystal ball, there’s no technology that can confirm in any failed embryo transfer, whether it belongs to the embryo quality or due to the endometrial environment. But as I said, 70% of the time is due to embryo quality. Then to further figure out whether in each individual case, whether it is due to endometrial environment or embryos, we can look for a few hints. If the lady, aged 39 years or older, if the embryo was not blastocyst stage embryo, or morphology is perfect, then most likely it is embryo quality. If the lady is 35 years or younger, and never got pregnant before, and the embryo look super, a very good quality embryo, but they are not getting pregnant, that could be the endometrial environment. So if it due to the endometrial environment, then we will do further investigation by chemically. We can check the blood for specific antibodies or factors that are against embryos implanting. We can look at the physical environment of the uterus. We can do ultrasounds. We can do special ultrasounds. We can do hysteroscopy to look at the inside of the cavity and look for subtle pathological changes that may prevent embryo from implantation. If we think it is embryo quality, then of course we can try to change the protocols. Try to do the retrieval at a different time, to see if it can improve the egg quality by means of seeing if the embryo can make it to the so called blastocysts stage embryo. By the way, I just want to cut in and explain a little about how we can have a better knowledge about the quality of the embryos. Three things we can do: a) look at the morphology, basically look at the shape/image of the embryo. If the embryos can make it all the way to Day 5, Day 6 embryo, so called blastocysts stage embryo then the embryo have a good chance to be a good quality embryo. We also can estimate the quality of the embryo by looking at the age of the patient. If the embryo is produced from a patient who is 38 years or younger, then there’s a good chance to have a good quality embryo. If they are 40, 41, 42, there is an increased chance of poor quality embryo. This is how we can hint at the quality of the embryos. Now I am sure you all know about a new technology called Pre-implantation Genetic Screening (PGS) test, which you can take a few cells from an embryo, the so called blastocysts stage embryo. Then we can do the advanced technology using the molecular technology called Next Generation Sequencing, or Comparative Genomic Hybridization, the abbreviation is CGH, or NGS. Then we can further check the number of chromosomes of these embryos. Then you can get further information about the quality of the embryos. And indeed, if the embryo can make it to blastocysts stage embryo and the NGS test prove the chromosome number is normal, and this embryo will have at least 50% to get patient pregnant. So this is the way to figure out the embryo quality. If patient can move on to the next step, then we can work on both side, and try to improve the quality of the embryo and also thoroughly evaluate the uterine cavity. Thank you.

In this episode of Ancient Medicine Today, I'm joined by Dr. Patrick Flynn to talk about 10 solutions to overcome infertility and naturally balance your hormones. The rate of infertility continues to increase in America and around the world. Many blame the toxins in our modern world polluting the body and compromising precious functions, such as fertility, pregnancy and child birth. What is infertility? Primary, infertility is defined as not being able to get pregnant despite having frequent, unprotected sex for at least a year. Secondary infertility is defined as the inability to become pregnant or to carry a pregnancy to term following the birth of one or more biological children. There can be many causes of infertility, including poor nutrition, emotional stress, sexually transmitted diseases, thyroid disorders, candida, medical conditions, eating disorders, excessive exercise, obesity, and hormonal problems. Let us tell you about the best natural infertility treatment options that could help you and your partner to conceive sooner rather than later without timely, costly and often invasive infertility treatments. *This content is strictly the opinion of Dr. Josh Axe, and is for informational and educational purposes only. You mentioned that you've been on multiple courses of antibiotics recently, you're pregnant, and you just seem to get better and then get sick again, and you're wondering if it's normal to just constantly be sick during pregnancy. During pregnancy the immune system is suppressed, and there are a lot of reasons for this but it's not normal to be sick all the time, most women don't experience illness after illness after illness. Ultimately I suggest talking with your doctor about the infections you've had and they'll be able to give you tailored information and advice, and based on their knowledge of your circumstances tell you if there's anything you can do to prevent these things from happening. The important thing is that you are getting treated for each one, and I hope that you start feeling better soon, and that you will be able to stay better. COntinue to wash your hands frequently throughout the day, and also do so before you start preparing meals. While you're sick this will help prevent the spread of illness to others, and while you're well this will help prevent the spread of illness to you.And while you're out and about and unable to wash your hands, use an alcohol-based hand sanitizer. This is the best thing you can do to prevent the spread of illness and to prevent yourself from getting it. Also wash your fruits and vegetables well and thoroughly cook meats and this will help to prevent you from getting food-borne illnesses. And if you have more questions in the future for me feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at facebook.com/intermountainmoms and recommend us to your friends and family to.

Hypoglycemia is traditionally defined as having a blood sugar below 70 mg/dl. However, because blood sugar levels run lower during pregnancy, the consensus of a work group of the American Diabetes Association and the Endocrine Society, in a report published in the May 2013 issue of "Diabetes Care," is that hypoglycemia in pregnancy can be defined as a level below 60 mg/dl. Low blood sugars have a sudden onset and can vary in intensity. Symptoms of mild hypoglycemia can resemble early pregnancy symptoms, including hunger, nausea, sleepiness, headache, weakness and dizziness. Other symptoms a woman may experience include shakiness, nervousness, sweating, chills, nightmares, fast heartbeat, blurry vision and numbness around the mouth. When blood sugars drop so low the woman is unable to treat it without assistance, this is termed severe hypoglycemia with symptoms of confusion, lack of coordination, seizures, loss of consciousness and even death. Some women with long-standing diabetes may no longer feel the early symptoms of low blood sugar levels and, as a result, are at greater risk of suffering these more serious side effects. ❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀❀ Thank you so much for watching and subscribing to our channel! Watch more Vitamins & Supplements videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/497539-Common-Vitamin-Deficiency-Symptoms-Vitamins Some common vitamin deficiency symptoms include hair loss, brittle nails, dry skin, acne, eczema, low energy, low moods, and fatigue. In particular, pregnant or nursing women, and vegan or vegetarians are more susceptible to vitamin deficiency. For example, some of my clients who are vegans and vegetarians, come in to see me because they are experiencing low energy, chronic fatigue, skin, and hair issues. Part of this is because some of them are what we consider ""junk food"" vegetarians, meaning they eat mostly processed, refined foods, so they're not getting enough fresh, whole foods which have most of the real vitamins. Because of a lack of essential vitamins, nutrients, and minerals, they start experiencing the deficiency symptoms I mentioned. So it's really important to make sure, especially if you're pregnant, nursing, vegan, or vegetarian, that you're getting enough of the right kinds of foods, and that includes an abundance of fruits and vegetables, whole grains and high quality proteins. If you're still having trouble or for some reason are unable to get the kinds of food you need, then you may consider taking a supplement. For example, a vegetarian or vegan who doesn't eat any animal products may be deficient in vitamin B-12, so they may want to consider adding a B-12 supplement to what they're eating. And also it's really important for pregnant and nursing mothers to take a prenatal multivitamin so they can get the added vitamins and nutrients they need and not experience vitamin deficiency. They, in particular, need extra calcium, iron and folic acid to ensure a healthy pregnancy.

Everyone knows how important sleep is for keeping in good physical and mental health. However, how long you sleep is just as important as the way you sleep. The position you sleep in can affect your health, help keep your skin looking young, and boost your digestive health. Here are six ways sleeping on your left side is good for your health. 1. It Bolsters the Lymphatic System Ayurvedic medicine says that sleeping on your left side lets your body better filter lymph fluid and waste through the lymph nodes. This is because the left side of our body is the stronger lymphatic side. Western studies also found that sleeping on the left side can help the body break down waste materials from the brain. However, sleeping on the right side can lower the lymphatic system’s power. 2. It May Improve Digestion When it comes to digestion, sleeping on the left side may be better than the right, because of gravity. Lying on the left side lets food waste easily move from the large intestine into the lower colon, meaning you’re more likely to have a bowel movement when you wake up. Sleeping on the left side lets the stomach and pancreas hang naturally because our stomach lies on the left side of the body. This can make sure the body keeps creating pancreatic enzymes and will help other digestive processes. 3. It’s Good for Your Heart Doctors advise that pregnant women sleep on their left side to boost circulation to the heart. Even if you’re not pregnant, or a woman, sleeping on the left side may help take some weight off the heart. Gravity can help lymph drainage toward the heart, and aortic circulation away from the heart. 4. It’s Ideal for Pregnant Women Sleeping on the left side doesn’t only boost pregnant women’s circulation. It can also help ease weight on the back, keep the uterus from squeezing the liver, and raise blood flow to the uterus, kidneys, and fetus. For this reason, doctors tell pregnant women to spend as much of their sleep time as possible on their left sides. 5. It May Reduce Heartburn A study written in The Journal of Clinical Gastroenterology found that lying on the left side can help lower acid reflux signs. This is because our stomach lies on the left side. Lying on the right side may worsen these signs. The help comes very fast; if you’re feeling heartburn after a meal, try lying down on your left side for ten minutes. 6. It May Relieve Back Pain People with chronic back pain may feel a little better if they switch to sleeping on their left side. That’s because sleeping on your side can ease weight on the spine. Feeling more comfortable will raise your chances of getting a good night’s sleep. If you usually sleep on your back, your front, or your right side, you may wonder how to break that habit and start sleeping on your left side. It will take some time and practice, but you will be able to quickly train your body to sleep in this position. Here are some tips: You can try lying on your left side and press a full-length body pillow up against your back. The pillow will stop you from rolling over during the night. Try switching the side of the bed you sleep on. This will make it easier for you to flip to your other side and have the same great sleep. Another trick is to keep a dim light lit on your right side. Because your body will naturally want to turn away from the light while you sleep, it will make it easier for you to sleep on your left side. Try these small changes as soon as you can - they will make your sleep better and lead you to better health. It’s important to note that some people - like those with heart disease, sleep apnea, glaucoma, and carpal tunnel syndrome - may not get help from sleeping on their left sides. If you’re not sure about what sleep position would be best for you, it’s always a good idea to ask a doctor. http://www.shopnps.com/Pro-D-5-with-Probiotics/productinfo/D5/ http://www.npshealth.com/?tag=vitamin-d 1.) The flu - In a study published in the Cambridge Journals, it was discovered that vitamin D deficiency predisposes children to respiratory diseases.

✳ Grab your (free) vegan quick-start guide to get all the nutrients and energy you need: http://bit.ly/veganook-start ✳ Check out my book, Protein from Plants: http://bit.ly/protein-from-plants ⭢ My daily vegan supplements: http://a.co/abTOprG B12 Supplement recommendations: http://bit.ly/vit-B12 One nutrient that vegans in particular need to supplement is B12, although vegetarians and meat eaters can easily need to supplement their diet with it as well. Your body stores an extra supply of it, so it can take up to 2 years for any vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms to creep up on you. You risk permanent damage to your nervous system and brain if you let this one get too far though, so be on the lookout for those symptoms. Early Vitamin B12 Deficiency Symptoms: Unusual fatigue Faulty digestion No appetite Nausea Loss of menstruation Tingling hands and feet (start of serious deficiency) If you don't get levels back up from there, it can result in permanent nerve damage and get very serious, causing blindness or deafness. Also, homocysteine levels will be high (risk factor for heart disease, stroke and complications during pregnancy) long before any of the early vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms show up. If children don't get enough B12 during childhood, their levels can be corrected but the period where they didn't have enough can have permanent effects on their brain and nerve functions. Maintaining your own B12 levels while breastfeeding is crucial. You can be tested for B12 deficiency by your doctor, and the most accurate method of testing is a urine or blood test called a Methylmalonic Acid test (MMA). It can detect deficiency much earlier and much more accurately than the standard blood test most doctors use to test for serum cobalamin levels and pernicious anemia. If you're seeing vitamin B12 deficiency symptoms, or show low levels in a blood test, the obvious solution is to raise B12 levels. Depending on how low your levels are, go for any or all of the following: - supplements (my recommendations here: http://bit.ly/vit-B12) - fortified foods (nut/grain milks, cereals, certain nutritional yeasts) - B12 injections (done by a doctor, for severe deficiency or people who aren't absorbing B12 through digestion) Have you ever noticed any of these symptoms in yourself? Have you seen or heard a friend complaining about them? Watch more How to Get Pregnant videos: http://www.howcast.com/videos/127375-How-to-Increase-Your-Chances-of-Getting-Pregnant Boost your odds of having a baby with these 10 tested tips. Step 1: Relax! Learn a relaxation technique, like deep breathing or meditation, and practice it twice daily for 20 minutes. Fifty-four women with fertility problems did just that for 10 weeks, and within a few months a third of them were pregnant. Step 2: Get in shape Determine your body fat percentage. Having too much or too little body fat can hinder conception. Twenty to 25 percent is considered healthy, so if you fall out of that range, consult your doctor for a program to correct it through diet and exercise. Tip Full-fat dairy like whole milk may increase a woman’s chances of getting pregnant. Step 3: Eat selectively Favor foods that are believed to boost fertility, like whole grains over simple carbohydrates and plant-based protein like beans and nuts rather than animal protein. Tip Eat organic vegetables when possible. Pesticides can affect hormone balance, which in turn affects fertility. Step 4: Limit alcohol Limit your alcohol consumption. According to a major Danish study, just five drinks a week lowers fertility rates in women. Also, you’ve no doubt heard this, but it bears repeating: Stop smoking! It lowers your odds of getting pregnant. Tip It takes two to make a baby! Ask your guy to cut down on booze and, if he smokes, to quit the cigs. If he’s taking steroids or bodybuilding supplements, he should stop those too. Step 5: Reduce caffeine Reduce your caffeine intake, or consider eliminating it altogether. The jury is still out, but some studies suggest that high caffeine intake reduces female fertility. Step 6: Don’t use an electric blanket Don’t use an electric blanket, which has been associated with a risk of miscarriage in the first month of pregnancy. Step 7: Get moving Exert yourself for at least 30 minutes every day. Research shows that daily exercise can help women conceive, possibly by making hormone levels more conducive to procreation. Step 8: Take folic acid Many doctors advise pregnant women to take folic acid to prevent birth defects, but research shows the supplement can help them conceive, too. In one study, women who took a daily multivitamin that contained folic acid had a 40 percent lower risk of ovulation problems than those who did not. Step 9: Limit pain relievers Limit your use of over-the-counter pain medications, which can interfere with ovulation. Step 10: Try acupuncture If you are trying in vitro fertilization, go for acupuncture. Two studies show it boosts IVF success rates. Step 11: Have lots of sex in the winter, when sperm counts Have lots of sex in the winter, when sperm counts are higher. Did You Know? One-third of fertility problems can be attributed to women, another third are related to men, and the remaining third are due to either a combination of both partners or an unknown cause.

Home Remedies for Female Infertility (Sterility). A woman is considered to have an infertility or sterility problem when she is unable to conceive a child after at least one year of unprotected, regular, well-timed intercourse. Infertility also includes an inability to maintain a pregnancy or carry a child to live birth, as described by the World Health Organization. Female infertility accounts for approximately one-third of all infertility cases, according to the American Pregnancy Association. In fact, it affects an estimated 48 million women worldwide. In women, fertility can be affected by various health problems, such as polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS), endometriosis, pelvic inflammatory disease, uterine fibroids, anemia, thyroid problems, blocked fallopian tubes, Candida and sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Other factors, such as heavy drinking, smoking, age (older than 35), obesity, excessive stress, a history of irregular or painful periods, a poor diet and intense physical training, can also increase a woman’s risk of infertility. Experiencing infertility is emotionally painful for any woman and can lead to anxiety, isolation, extended periods of depression, and an inability to concentrate on daily tasks. With techniques such as in vitro fertilization (IVF) or surrogacy, many women struggling with infertility are eventually able to have a child. However, these techniques are very expensive and some women simply cannot afford them. There are natural and herbal treatments that also can help fight the root cause of infertility and increase your chances of getting pregnant. Lifestyle factors, such as regular exercise and following a healthy diet, can also help. Here are the top 5 home remedies for female sterility. 1. Ashwagandha Ashwagandha, also called Indian ginseng, is very helpful for women having difficulty conceiving. This herb is effective in maintaining hormonal balanceand promoting proper functioning of the reproductive organs. It also helps tone the uterus for those who have recurrent miscarriages. 2. Pomegranate Pomegranate also boosts fertility in women. It helps increase blood flow to the uterus and thickens the uterine lining to reduce the chance of miscarriage. Plus, it promotes healthy development of the fetus. 3. Cinnamon Cinnamon can help with proper ovarian functioning and thus be effective in fighting infertility. It even helps in the treatment of PCOS, one of the main causes of infertility. 4. Chasteberry If infertility is due to a hormonal imbalance in the body, an effective remedy is chasteberry, also called vitex. This herb helps improve ovulation due to its high prolactin levels. Plus, it combats PCOS. 5. Dates Dates contain several nutrients that can help boost your ability to conceive. They are rich in vitamins A, E and B as well as iron and other minerals and that are essential for a woman to conceive and to carry a child through a full-term pregnancy. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Our Social Links: Subscribe To Our Channel : https://goo.gl/7YPKcz For more tips see our blog: https://naturalhealthcarenhc.blogspot.com like us in Facebook: https://goo.gl/MmjtyD Follow us on twitter: https://goo.gl/USDg3k Google plus: https://goo.gl/B5B2oz Special thanks to: http://www.top10homeremedies.com If you found this information cool, useful or valuable please hit share and let your friends benefit from this as well!

Here are the top 10 signs and symptoms of iron deficiency. review : 01:02 Fatigue and Tiredness 02:06 Shortness of Breath 03:12 Pale Skin 04:06 Brittle Nails 05:11 Hair Loss 06:05 Craving Nonfood Substances 1. Fatigue and Tiredness Fatigue and tiredness are common in people who have a low iron level. Iron is important for maintaining optimum levels of hemoglobin, which is the oxygen-carrying chemical in the bloodstream. Lack of oxygen in the body causes constant fatigue and tiredness. A 2000 study published in Quality of Life Research suggests that iron deficiency is associated with decreased general health and well-being and increased fatigue. If you are frequently tired and feeling fatigued, get your blood checked to find out whether you have an iron deficiency. Proper diagnosis and timely treatment will help reduce the symptoms quickly. 2. Shortness of Breath Due to a low iron level, less oxygen reaches different parts of your body. When the body’s oxygen level is low, it will cause shortness of breath, no matter how deeply you breathe. This shortness of breath occurs even while doing things that you’d normally handle just fine, such as climbing the stairs, taking a short walk or even carrying small objects. The breathlessness can be mild, moderate or severe, and breathing often returns to normal after a rest period. If you need to puff for air more often, get your iron level checked to rule out the possibility of this nutrient deficiency. 3. Pale Skin Another common sign associated with iron deficiency is pale skin or a washed-out appearance. Due to a low iron level, your body is unable to manufacture sufficient hemoglobin. It’s the hemoglobin that gives your blood its red color and your skin its rosy hue. As the iron deficiency worsens, your skin begins to lose its normal color and becomes pale. This sign is more prominent in people who have a lighter skin tone. If your skin starts looking paler than usual and you are not sick, consult a doctor to determine the cause. 4. Brittle Nails If your nails look pale, fragile and brittle, it can be a possible sign of iron deficiency. Along with brittle nails, a concave or spoon-shaped depression in the nails can indicate an insufficient iron level in the body. A low iron level hampers your body’s ability to produce enough hemoglobin, which helps carry oxygen throughout your system, including to your nails. This lack of oxygen prohibits the healthy growth of your nails. Apart from nutritional deficiencies, aging, long-term use of nail polish and frequent exposure to water can lead to brittle nails. 5. Hair Loss There are many possible causes for hair loss and iron deficiency is one of them. A low iron level sends your body into survival mode, during which it channels oxygen to support vital functions as opposed to less important functions like hair growth. In fact, women with iron deficiency are at a risk of telogen hair loss, according to a 2009 study published in Acta Dermatovenerologica Croatica. To find out whether an iron deficiency is the cause of your hair loss, it is important to measure the amount of ferritin in the blood. 6. Craving Nonfood Substances Pica is a condition in which a person has an unusual craving for non nutritive substances that can cause significant health risks. This condition can be sign of a low level of iron or other nutrients in the body. In a 2010 study published in the Journal of Medical Case Reports, experts considered pica an important sign of iron deficiency that should never be ignored. A recent 2014 study published in the Journal of Nutrition found that pregnant teens with significantly lower iron levels had cravings for ice, cornstarch, vacuum dust, baby powder, soap and other nonfood items. If you are craving nonfood items, bring it to the attention of your doctor to find out the exact reason behind it. Music: Royalty Free Music from Bensound

We recommend that you speak to your healthcare professional when deciding on your choice of feeding your baby. Professional guidance should also be sought on the preparation for and maintenance of breastfeeding. If you do choose to breastfeed, it's important to eat a healthy, balanced diet. Infant formula is intended to replace breast milk when mothers choose not to breastfeed or if for some reason they are unable to do so. A decision not to breastfeed, or to introduce partial bottle-feeding, will reduce the supply of breast milk. If for any reason you choose not to breastfeed, do remember that such a decision can be difficult to reverse. Using infant formula also has social and financial implications which must be considered. Infant formula should always be prepared, used and stored as instructed on the label, in order to avoid risks to a baby’s health.

http://www.stomponstep1.com/folate-b12-deficiency-megaloblastic-anemia-hypersegmented/ Vitamin B9 (Folate/Folic Acid) is very important for 1 carbon chemical reactions (AKA methylation) during the creation of DNA. These functions are particularly important in tissues that undergo frequent cellular division (like hematopoietic cells) and during periods of rapid cellular division (such as infancy and pregnancy). Folate is found naturally in leafy vegetables and Folium is the Latin word for leaf. Today many grains are also fortified with Folate. With so many items having Folate added a deficiency from decreased intake of Folate is not very common. Usually a deficiency is caused by an increased demand for folate through pregnancy or hemolytic anemias such as Sickle Cell Disease. Folate deficiencies in pregnant women are linked with the occurrence of Neural Tube Defects in the fetus. A deficiency can also be caused by drugs that inhibit the pathways that Folate is involved in such as Trimethoprim (antibiotic) and Methotrexate (Chemotherapy). A Folate deficiency primarily causes anemia (decreased red blood cells). Anemias can present with a wide range of symptoms including weakness, fatigue, pale skin and shortness of breath. Folate Deficiency causes a specific type of Anemia called Macrocytic/Megaloblstic Anemia where the size (Mean Corpuscular Volume) of the red blood cells increased. This is because as the creation of DNA is inhibited the cell cycle in the hematopoietic cells is stalled. Cellular division is stopped but the cell continues to grow resulting in a smaller number of cells which are larger than normal cells. Patients with this type of anemia also often present with Hypersegmented Neutrophils on a blood smear, which is a neutrophil with 5 or more "segments" in the nucleus. You are also going to see an elevation of Homocysteine levels in Folate Deficiency. This is because B12 needs to receive a methyl group from Folate so it can pass it on to Homocysteine to create Methionine. Less Folate means B12 doesn't have a methyl group to pass on and Homocysteine builds up. Unlike B12 deficiencies, Folate deficiency does not result in a buildup of Methylmalonic Acid or neurological symptoms. Vitamin B12 (Cobalamin) is a vitamin, like Folate, that is important for 1 carbon chemical reactions. B12 is found in many animal products and Vegans are at the highest risk of deficiency. B12 taken in through the diet is bound to proteins. Stomach acid and digestive enzymes must first separate B12 from the proteins. If there is a deficiency of stomach acid due to disease or medication (like proton pump inhibitors or antacids) it can cause decreased absorption and B12 deficiency. Once it is no longer protein bound, B12 binds Intrinsic Factor which is released by the Parietal Cells in the stomach. Intrinsic Factor then chaperones the B12 to the terminal ileum where it is absorbed. Pernicious Anemia is the autoimmune destruction of parietal cells which leads to less Intrinsic Factor production. Less intrinsic factor means less B12 absorption and B12 deficiency. Damage to the terminal ileum, such as in Crohn's Disease, can also inhibit B12 absorption. Folate and B12 work closely together handing off methyl groups to each other. It is sort of like a game of hot potato. Folate doesn't "want" the methyl group so it passes it on to B12. B12 doesn't "want" it either so it passes it off to methionine. In effect, B12 helps recycle methyltetrahydrofolate back into tetrohydrofolate which can be used to create DNA. This means that a deficiency of B12 can cause a deficiency of Folate as less Folate is being recycled into its "active" form. Therefore, B12 deficiency present very similarly to Folate deficiency. You get Macrocytic/Megaloblastic Anemia with Hypersegmented Neutrophils and increased Homocysteine levels. If you mistakenly diagnose Folate Deficiency when it is really B12 Deficiency the patient will get better with Folate supplementation, but permanent neurological damage will be done overtime. Odd chain fatty acids are broken down to eventually give Methylmalonyl CoA. B12 is a cofactor in the process that converts methylmalonyl CoA into Succinyl CoA which can then be used in the TCA cycle to generate energy. If there is not enough B12 this reaction is slowed and Methylmalonic Acid builds up. This Methylmalonic Acid build up is toxic to neurons and leads to demyelination in the posterior and lateral columns of the spinal cord. This is called Subacute Combined Degeneration and presents with peripheral numbness/tingling, spasticity, and loss of vibration and proprioception.
