If you go to harder science sources you get a different story. Sources like ClinicalTrials.gov, Cochrane Library, PubMed, Medline were reviewed. The summary from these sources is "it's widely used... but there is insufficient evidence to support it's use." I personally wonder if the answer is obvious. Every other simple protein that I know is neutralized quickly by stomach acid when ingested. Therefore proteins don't cause negative side effects (except for patients with kidney diseases eating high quantities). They also don't cause their original effect, either. They are just digested. Originally published on November 9th, 2013 A research team at MIT developed a novel nanoparticle that detects blood clots before they cause stroke or other adverse cardiac events. This non-invasive clot detection assay presents an fast and affordable method to screen for blood clots in at-risk patients. Blood clots are formed in the vasculature by a protein known as thrombin, which activates the sticky clot-forming fibrin along with other clotting mechanisms. Thrombin also breaks down the synthetic nanoparticle, which is then excreted in urine. Digested nanoparticles can then be detected by antibodies that bind specifically to nanoparticle fragments. The researchers found that the detected fragments are directly proportional to the level of blood clotting in the experimental mice's lungs. The iron oxide nanoparticle is made up of a "nanoworm" core, and synthetic peptide extensions with regions that can be recognized and digested by thrombin. Welch, Farrokh Dehdashti, and Barry Siegel The growth of many breast cancers is regulated by estrogens, and these cancers can be treated effectively with endocrine therapies (ET). Identifying patients who will benefit from ET, however, continues to be challenging. Measurement of estrogen receptor (ER) levels in tumor biopsy samples using immunohistochemistry provides accurate negative prediction (no ER implies no ET response), but poor positive prediction. We have developed a fluorine-18 labeled estrogen, 16alpha-[F-18]fluoro-17beta-estradiol (FES) for in vivo imaging of ER in breast cancer by positron emission tomography (PET). Clinical PET imaging studies with FES provides a higher positive predictive value for benefit from ET than does IHC. In addition, an endocrine challenge test that measures the change in tumor metabolism, assessed by PET with 2-[F-18]fluoro-2-deoxyglucose (FDG) 1 week after tamoxifen or after 1 day of estradiol therapy, provides a highly accurate prediction of the ultimate benefit of ET in treatment. Both FES-PET and serial FDG-PET are promising approaches whereby it should be possible to tailor ET to individual breast cancer patients.

This means that all processed foods, artificial flavors, colors, preservatives, white flour, white sugar, table salt, hydrogenated oils, aluminum, high fructose corn syrup, and etcetera should be eliminated from the diet. Well, shingles came my way... and you know that if I have anything substantial to offer you, I will make a video about it. It seems that steroids (a cortisone shot) brought about a case of Shingles for a friend of mine. He read that steroids can bring on shingles. Zoster is the virus that is shingles and (according to Web MD) chickenpox; (the same virus) lying dormant in the body, will lay the foundation for a case of shingles. My question is, what is there in a steroid that brings on shingles, does it bring out the virus or is there something in the steroid that promotes the virus. And, will diatomaceous earth help?
