Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY Dr. Berg talks about low salt, cholesterol and blood pressure. There is very little attention on raising potassium, which is really what causes high blood pressure. And low salt diets as well as low potassium diets can raise your cholesterol. Even salt sensitive people are really potassium deficient. So start consuming at least 7 cups of vegetables each day to increase your potassium. Garlic for cholesterol | Garlic lowers cholesterol and high blood pressure Garlic, especially raw garlic, has been used for several centuries as a seasoning and as a medicinal food because of its health benefits, which are. Combat high cholesterol and triglycerides by containing allicin; Reduce blood pressure as it relaxes blood vessels; Prevent thrombosis by being rich in antioxidants; Protect the heart by lowering cholesterol and blood vessels. To get these benefits, you should consume at least 4 g of fresh garlic a day or 4 to 7 gram of garlic in capsules, as it loses much of its effect when used as a supplement. Nutrition information and how to use it. The following table shows the nutritional composition of 100 grams of fresh garlic. Quantity in 100 g fresh garlic. Energy: 113 kcal. Protein: 7 gram. Carbohydrate: 23.9 gram. Fat: 0.2 gram. Fibers 4.3 gram. Calcium: 14 mg. Potassium: 535 mg. Phosphor: 14 mg. Allicin: 225 mg. Garlic can be used as a seasoning of meats, fish, salads, sauces and side dishes like rice and pasta. Also, it is important to remember that raw garlic is more potent than cooked, that fresh garlic is more potent than old garlic, and that garlic supplements do not bring as much benefit as their natural consumption. Besides garlic, consuming ginger daily also helps to lower high blood pressure. How to Use Garlic to Protect the Heart. To protect the heart, preference should be given to the use of fresh garlic, which may be added as a seasoning of cooking preparations, placed in the water or taken as tea. Garlic Water. To prepare the garlic water, you should put 1 clove of crushed garlic in 100 ml of water and let the mixture rest overnight. This water should be consumed fasting to help cleanse the bowel and lower cholesterol. Garlic Tea. Tea should be made with 1 clove of garlic for every 100 to 200 ml of water. You should add chopped or crushed garlic in boiling water for 5 to 10 minutes, remove from heat and drink warm. How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerBPNow 5 Best Foods For Lowering Your Blood Pressure, Naturally: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/FoodsLoweringBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/SurprisingHBPFacts And the clinical studies can be seen here: 1. http://www.cdc.gov/bloodpressure/facts.htm 2. http://openheart.bmj.com/content/1/1/e000167 3. http://articles.mercola.com/sites/articles/archive/2005/06/14/calories-america.aspx ======================================= 🌽 #1 Food That Causes High Blood Pressure ======================================= If you didn’t already know, at least ⅓ of US adults have high blood pressure. And having hypertension is one of the leading causes of a heart attack or stroke.(1) Now, there are lots of ways to naturally lower your blood pressure and under this video, in the description area, I’ve listed some of my favorites. However, don’t go there yet because most people, including doctors, mistakenly consume less salt to lower blood pressure. However, low-salt diets typically don’t make much of a difference. What does make a big difference is lowering sugar in your diet and more specifically, “high fructose corn syrup” In a recent study in the journal Open Heart (2), the authors write: “Evidence from epidemiological studies and experimental trials in animals and humans suggests that added sugars, particularly fructose, may increase blood pressure and blood pressure variability, increase heart rate and myocardial oxygen demand, and contribute to inflammation, insulin resistance and broader metabolic dysfunction. Thus, while there is no argument that recommendations to reduce consumption of processed foods are highly appropriate and advisable, the arguments in this review are that the benefits of such recommendations have less to do with sodium—minimally related to blood pressure and perhaps even inversely related to cardiovascular risk—and more to do with highly-refined carbohydrates and sugars." The Problem Started In The 1970s Food and beverage manufacturers began switching their sweeteners from sucrose (table sugar) to corn syrup in the 1970s when they discovered that High Fructose Corn Syrup (HFCS) was far cheaper to use in their products. In fact, HFCS is the #1 source of calories in America!!!( 3) It’s found in almost everything you can think of. More specifically, in sodas and fruit juices. But also in many pre-packaged foods. This also includes “healthy sugars” sweetened with agave. My Proven “Prescription” and Recommendation For You You must do your best to limit and eliminate all HFCS and to do this, make sure you read labels. Again, the LESS pre-packaged the food, the better. Limit your TOTAL fructose to 25 grams or less, that’s about 100 calories daily. This includes the natural fructose found in fruits. If you are already suffering from high blood pressure or signs of insulin resistance like diabetes, overweight and high cholesterol, you should be particularly careful to limit your fructose, including that from whole fruits, to 15 grams per day or less. That’s about 60 calories daily. So there you have it. Focus more on limiting your sugars, this includes fruit sugar, fructose … and especially “high fructose corn syrup” which is found in most pre-packaged foods, especially sodas and fruit juices. Now, I wanted to keep this video short and simple so you have something to implement today and start get results right away. If you want more details on how to lower your blood pressure naturally, under this video I’ve got simple and proven solutions that you can utilize and you do NOT even have to change your diet or exercise. ☝️ 3 Pressure Points That’ll Instantly Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally

How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure by 23% In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉http://drsam.co/yt/LongTermLowBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodForBP ======================================= ☝️ 3 Pressure Points That’ll Instantly Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally ======================================= Lowering high blood pressure is a very important topic not only for avoiding a heart attack or stroke, but simply for a longer life. And personally speaking, this is very important for me because I have a family history of high blood pressure, which has typically lead to strokes on my dad’s side of the family and heart attacks on my mom’s. The good news is that there are lots of simple ways to lower high blood pressure, naturally. And today I’m going reveal 3 simple pressure points on your body, that will instantly lower your blood pressure. Something important that I want to bring to your attention about today’s topic is that these solutions are for instant results, NOT long-term solutions … which I’ll get to at the end of today’s video. So if you’re feeling stressed or your blood pressure is rising, you can almost instantly and quickly use today’s 3 pressure points to lower your blood pressure and help avoid anything bad from happening. If nothing else, you’ll get instant relief and relaxation. Acupressure Point LI4 LI 4, which stands for “Large Intestine 4”, is an extremely useful acupressure point that is extensively used to treat chronic pain, acute stress and various types of diseases along with treatment for high blood pressure. This point is situated in the webbing between the forefinger and the thumb… right in the middle as you see here. It calms and balances blood flow throughout the body and clears stagnation. As an added benefit, it also boosts your immunity. The most effective way to apply pressure to LI 4 is to slide your thumb along the webbing until you reach the junction of the thumb and index finger bones. How to apply acupressure? Begin by moving your thumb in a small circular rubbing motion over LI 4 for a few seconds. Then you can apply gentle to moderate thumb pressure depending on how sensitive the area feels. If there is any pain, it should be a “good hurt,” not severe or uncomfortable. You can hold the point as long as you are comfortable, up to several minutes. I typically suggest about 20-30 seconds, then take a few second break and then repeat as often as you’d like. PC 6 PC 6 or Pericardium 6 is yet another important acupressure point for treating high blood pressure. It soothes and helps the heart and circulatory system in their proper functioning. This point is also known as the Inner Gate, and it is located on the inner forearm, approximately three finger-widths away from the wrist crease as you see here. This point can be stimulated by applying firm pressure to the point using your index finger or thumb. Again, apply pressure for about 20-30 seconds, then take a break and repeat as needed. G20 The G20 is below the base of your skull, in the hollows on both sides of the neck, between the two vertical neck muscles. Putting pressure here lowers your blood pressure, reduces headaches and stress by relaxing your nervous system. Use your thumbs, fingers, or knuckles to gradually apply pressure into the hollows of your skull. Close your eyes as you tilt your head back slowly. Take long, slow deep breaths as you hold for two to three minutes. Direct the pressure slowly and firmly into the center of your head. Other Acupressure Points Now, there are lots of other acupressure points -- on your feet, arms, legs, and so forth. I picked these 3 areas for lowering your blood pressure because you can do them any where, any place -- they’re easy to access. It’s just your hand, forearm/wrist and the back of your head. Easy access, you can do it yourself and you’ll get fast relief. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. 6 SIGNS THAT YOU MAY HAVE HIGH CHOLESTEROL

05:02
Why is it so important to keep cholesterol at the normal levels and how to maintain it within the health limits? Cholesterol is a vital, fat-like substance that is contained in each cell of our body, as well as in our blood. Most of the cholesterol is produced by the liver, and the rest is procured through food. Please subscribe, click the bell and watch this video until the end to know the complete information. Cholesterol has extremely important reasons for our body and functions: it participates in the construction of cell membranes and in the formation of sexes and adrenal hormones; without cholesterol, the body can not synthesize vitamin D, which is indispensable to healthy bones, nor produces bile acid, without which fat in the body cannot be processed properly. When an excess of cholesterol accumulates in the body, it can not be broken down and this increases the risks to our health. The main danger is the onset of atherosclerosis, which in turn is the cause of most cardiovascular diseases such as a heart attack for example. The causes of increased levels of cholesterol in the blood are different: hereditary predisposition, chronic liver disease thyroid gland and diabetes. A sure way to maintain a normal cholesterol level is regular testing. Specialists recommend except for total, to monitor still poor (LDL) and good (HDL) cholesterol, as well as triglycerides. It is known that 20 years is the age in which the first examination for determining the values of cholesterol should be done. Revealed in time, increased cholesterol can be overcome and can not lead to serious health problems later. Here are 6 signs that you may have high cholesterol. 1. yellow growths on your eyelids. Did you know that yellowish eyelid can be a sign of high cholesterol? Take a good look at the eyelids, if you notice yellow spots, make a doctor’s appointment, check your cholesterol levels and your heart’s health. Also, do you notice painless yellow growths of the upper and lower eyelids? This phenomenon is called “xanthelasma” and it is a clear indication that you have high blood cholesterol levels. 2. gray-colored ring around your cornea. Often this is a sign of aging, so it should not be a cause for worry. But if you are far from retired, the gray circle around the iris may indicate high cholesterol and blood fat, which very often means a risk of heart attack or stroke. This gray colored ring or lacquer is actually composed of cholesterol that collects in the deeper parts of your cornea. 3. tingling sensation in the hands and feet. The tingling sensation of the hands and feet may indicate a problem in your body. This should be taken seriously because these symptoms can be caused by serious health problems. If the blood vessels are blocked by cholesterol, it is likely that you will feel tingling in your hands and feet, because your peripheral nerves are not getting do enough blood oxygen and nutrients for their proper functioning. 4. pain in the neck and back of the head. Because cholesterol levels that are too high can cause some of your blood vessels to block, it’s very possible that your circulation is obstructed. Such can leave your neck sensitive and deteriorate from time to time. The shoulder can also be felt in the same way. Medical practitioners say that high blood cholesterol levels can also make you have a headache, especially in the back of your head. 5. rapid or pounding beating of the heart. When a person says that she has heart palpitations, she thinks of the inner feeling that her heart beats something different from the usual one. Or, it simply has the awareness of the heartbeat. Most of the time, heart palpitations are harmless and they are often experienced after exercise or engaging in the intense physical activity. Sometimes they are due to anxiety, stress, and the intake of certain drugs. Palpitations may also indicate problems with the cardiovascular system, but and high cholesterol levels are one of them. Clogging the blood vessels due to cholesterol can lead to an accelerated operation of your heart. 6. unhealthy diet and lifestyle. If you eat plenty of fatty foods and avoid fruits and vegetables that contain a lot of fiber if you are a smoker and if you drink alcohol in excessive amounts, if you are overweight and do not exercise regularly, then there is a great chance that your cholesterol level is already high. But sometimes high cholesterol depends on our genes. About 1 in 500 people have a specific genetic mutation that leads to the accumulation of cholesterol in their blood. These people suffer from high cholesterol regardless of their lifestyle. if you suspect that you may have high cholesterol then please start eating a healthy diet and get levels checked out at the hospital. Diatomaceous Earth Food Grade 10 Lb Hi there! This is ~~~Nancy Here is a link (below) to a source for Diatomaceous Earth from Amazon. It's 'food grade' and is a product that I would buy. Please note: if you do buy it through this link - I will get credit for it - so, thank you! ~~~Nancy http://amzn.to/2kCU6Hw Hi! There is a product that I use to help to keep the 'bad' oils down to a minimum in my system. Eating healthy isn't in the cards for me https://youtu.be/oBVrddMZ8Bg https://www.youtube.com/user/nancykonciljagurish http://www.yourhealthandtechfriend.org/ at this time and my cholesterol levels tend to get into a bad place. So, this product, Diatomaceous Earth (DE) - is part of what keeps my cholesterol 'in the pink'. I've been told by my doctor that my HDL (the good cholesterol) is very, very good. Diatomaceous Earth by the way seems to be good for high cholesterol too. That is what I hear! And the yolks of eggs is also said to be very good for keeping a good blood pressure level. Look to your health care provider if you have a health concern. Don't look to the internet for medical advice. ~~~Nancy The music for this video is "In Albany New York" by The 126ers! Cucumber Garlic Salad For Hypertension And Lower Cholesterol

02:00
Cucumber Garlic Salad For Hypertension When the arteries become narrow and the heart pumps more blood, blood pressure tends to increase. This condition could increase the risk of stroke and hypertension. Primary hypertension is different from secondary hypertension. If the problem of hypertension occurs over the years, it is known as primary. If it occurs all of a sudden due to some other reason like thyroid problem, kidney issue or adrenal gland tumour then it is known as secondary hypertension. One of the main reasons behind hypertension is cholesterol. Other reasons include stress, obesity, poor diet, smoking, vitamin and mineral deficiencies and alcohol. The cucumber garlic salad is used as a natural remedy for hypertension. Let us know about it. Ingredients You will need 3 cloves of garlic, a cucumber, a tablespoon of apple cider vinegar and a tablespoon of water. Preparation Wash and slice a cucumber. Mince the garlic. Mix both of them and add the apple cider vinegar and water. Sprinkle a few mint leaves and enjoy the salad. #1 Raw garlic is used as a home remedy for circulatory issues, atherosclerosis, heart attack, coronary heart disease, high cholesterol, high blood pressure and low blood pressure. #2 Allicin present in garlic works almost like blood pressure medication. It can also reduce cholesterol and relax blood vessels. #3 Cucumber contains fibre, magnesium, potassium and lots of water. The potassium in it balances the sodium levels in the body. The cucumber garlic salad can boost cardiovascular health too. #4 Carefully choose only dark green cucumbers. Before buying them from the store, touch them and see if they are firm or soft. Choose only the firm ones. Lower Cholesterol And Regulate High Blood Pressure with this Healing Cucumber & Garlic Salad Over 70 million adults in the United States alone suffer from high blood pressure. High blood pressure is when your blood pressure (the force of your blood pushing against the walls of your blood vessels), is consistently too high (1). It is also the most important risk factor for stroke and heart disease. High blood pressure essentially increases the workload of the heart and blood vessels, making them work harder and less efficiently. The friction of the high blood pressure damages the delicate tissues inside the arteries, and this allows for LDL (bad) cholesterol to form plaques along the tiny tears of the artery walls (this is how atherosclerosis starts). Stress, poor diet, and physical inactivity can increase your risk of developing high blood pressure. Reduce sodium intake, minimize meat consumption, devise ways to reduce stress in your life, and get out for a walk at least once a day. Pressure-Regulating Foods There are also foods that help with regulating blood pressure. Cucumbers contain adequate amounts of potassium, which can help balance sodium levels in your cells (a major cause of high blood pressure). Cucumbers are also a relatively good source of fibre, which in itself can provide significant reductions in blood pressure levels and cholesterol . Fibre also helps with preventing type 2 diabetes and boosts weight loss. Garlic is another miracle worker in terms of the blood and heart. Some reports have been made that the anti-hypertensive effect of garlic was equal if not more powerful than that seen with anti-hypertensive drugs. A study at the Brown University School of Medicine revealed that men with high cholesterol levels can lower this blood pressure and reduce cholesterol simply by supplementing with aged garlic extract. Garlic helps stimulate intracellular nitric oxide (NO) levels, which helps out body control vascular tone and regulates blood pressure. Ingredients: – 1 long english cucumber – 2 cloves garlic, crushed – 1/4 of a small onion – 1/2 tsp. apple cider vinegar – 1/2 tsp. maple syrup or sweetener of choice – optional: a little bit of dill Method: 1. Thinly slice the cucumber and put into a bowl. 2. Add the crushed garlic, and then add some thinly sliced onion. 3. Add in apple cider vinegar, sweetener and a little bit of dill if you please. Enjoy!

Keto and Blood Pressure

CORRECTION: At the end, it should be "INCREASE" potassium DATA: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC3362178/ https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/16467502 https://journals.lww.com/acsm-healthfitness/fulltext/2012/05000/SODIUM,_POTASSIUM,_AND_HIGH_BLOOD_PRESSURE.6.aspx https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/28396533 https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4566462/ https://vitamindwiki.com/Vitamin+K2+decreases+arterial+stiffness+%28cleans+arteries%29+%E2%80%93+RCT+Feb+2015 Take Dr. Berg's Free Keto Mini-Course: http://pxlme.me/-i717vtY or go here: https://www.drberg.com/how-to-do-ketosis In this video, Dr. Berg discussed about Keto (Ketogenic Diet) and blood pressures. Sodium and the opposing mineral potassium works together and our body needs 4x as much potassium that we do with sodium. To lower sodium, increase the potassium that will automatically give the ratios the body needs. Potassium helps lowering or normalize blood pressure, we need to take at least 7 to 10 cups of leafy greens per day. A calcified artery usually comes after a chain reaction from damage of high sugar and high levels of insulin because the calcium and the cholesterol is triggered by the damage on the artery wall. Cause of High Blood Pressure: • High sodium higher fluid volume – Potassium helps lowering or normalize blood pressure. Increasing potassium will also help lower insulin and improve insulin resistance. • Artery Calcified – hardening of the arteries and plaquing. Coronary Artery Calcification scan is a great test to detect any calcification in the artery. Vitamin K2 with D3 – helps decalcify and helps remove excess calcium from either the joints or arteries and puts it on the bone where it should belong. It comes from fatty foods, grass-fed meats or dairy. The actual vitamins in fatty foods has the ability to calcify or protect the arteries from accumulating too much calcium. • High Insulin – The arteries become stiff and the blood pressure will go up. It is associated with insulin resistance. • Statins – A medication to lower cholesterol but several of the risk factor is diabetes, insulin resistance and insulin spike. Hey guys today we are gonna talk about keto (ketogenic diet) and blood pressure, probably should add in there IF or intermittent fasting as well. But people can then be put in a diuretic, pull their fluid out and then lower their blood pressure. So one point I wanna bring out is the relationship between sodium and the opposing mineral potassium, they both work together. And we need 4x more potassium as we do with sodium. So what does that mean? It means that if you want to lower sodium, you wanna increase your potassium. Because that is automatically will give you the ratios that you need rather than try to lower your sodium, yes you can do see salt which I recommend but you would be much better off increasing your potassium and one of the reason is because potassium automatically will help you lower your blood pressure or normalize blood pressure and most people do not consume enough potassium-rich foods and I am not talking about bananas, I am talking about leafy greens. The average person consumes 1.6 cups of vegetable per day, we need at least 7 cups to hopefully even 10 if you can actually do that. And that would actually give you a lot closer amounts for your potassium. Dr. Eric Berg DC Bio: Dr. Berg, 52 years of age is a chiropractor who specializes in Healthy Ketosis & Intermittent Fasting. 💓 What’s Worse - Low or High Blood Pressure?

06:08
How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets. 👉👉 http://drsam.co/yt/Improve-BP 3 Pressure Points That’ll Instantly Lower Your Blood Pressure Naturally: 👉 https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DYdPjTGeVI4 #bloodpressure ==================================== 💓 What’s Worse - Low or High Blood Pressure? ==================================== The other day I was asked an in important and interesting question: “Dr. Sam - I have borderline high blood pressure and my wife typically has low blood pressure, what’s worst for your health?” So, the fast answer is that in the “short run”, it’s low blood pressure. In the long run, it’s high blood pressure. But, let me quickly explain... What Do The Numbers Mean To understand blood pressure reading, it is important to understand what blood pressure is. As you already know, the heart pumps blood through the chambers of the heart, then it goes to the vessels to transport the blood throughout the body with the circulatory system. Your blood pressure measures the pumping action of the heart. The top number reading is known as the systolic blood pressure, it is the force exerted on the walls of the arteries when the heart contracts to pump oxygenated blood. The bottom reading is the diastolic blood pressure. It is the pressure reading when the heart is resting in between beats. Category Systolic BP (top) Diastolic BP (bottom) Severe Hypotension (low) 50 – 59 mmHg 33 – 39 mmHg Serious Hypotension (low) 60 – 89 mmHg 40 – 49 mmHg Borderline Hypotension (low) 90 – 109 mmHg 50 – 69 mmHg Normal Blood Pressure 110 – 119 mmHg 60 – 79 mmHg Prehypertension (high) 120 – 139 mmHg 80 – 89 mmHg Stage 1 Hypertension (high) 140 – 159 mmHg 90 – 99 mmHg Stage 2 Hypertension (high) 160 – 180 mmHg 100 – 110 mmHg Hypertensive Crisis (high) Higher than 180 mmHg Higher than 110 mmHg Signs and Symptoms of Hypotension and Hypertension Hypotension Hypertension Dizziness Lightheadedness Syncope Blurring of vision Inability to concentrate Nausea Cold, clammy skin Pallor Thirst Body weakness Rapid and shallow breathing Tachycardia Dizziness Severe Headache Nose bleeding Irregular heartbeat Chest pain Blurring of vision Fatigue or body weakness Confusion Difficulty of breathing Hematuria Nausea and vomiting Normal, Low & High Ideally, you want your blood pressure to fall within the normal range, most of the day. However, those who suffer from stress, anxiety, high cholesterol, obesity and the like, they have increased risk of having a high blood pressure and in severe cases it can lead to heart attack or stroke. On the other end, some people suffer from low blood pressure due to certain diseases or conditions, this can lead to shock or even worse – death. Low Blood Pressure (Hypotension) Low blood pressure is alarming because it can be very life threatening if prompt medical attention is not rendered. The causes range from dehydration, blood loss and some surgical disorders. It is manageable as long as the origin of the condition is determined and properly treated. BOTTOM LINE: In the short run, low BP is worse because you can go into shock and die. Or simply pass out and if it’s while driving or something similar, could result in death or bad accident. However, this is more extreme and rare. High Blood Pressure (Hypertension) Blood pressure constantly changes throughout the day depending on the level of activity, physical and emotional status. If your blood pressure is elevated and stays elevated throughout the day and continues for a few days or weeks, then it’s something to be concerned about. Something interesting to note is that the older you get, the higher the blood pressure typically becomes and this is due to a variety of lifestyle reasons (poor diet, lack of exercise, being overweight, etc.). However, the primary cause/reason for higher blood pressure as you age, is due to the negative changes in your hormones. But don’t worry, there’s hope. I discuss this in further detail at my website because I have a family history of hypertension. You can get the details by clicking the link below, in the description area at the end of this video. So don’t go there just yet... BOTTOM LINE: High blood pressure is a problem when it’s consistent and ongoing because of the pressure it puts on your organs (heart, brain, kidneys, etc.) and the end result could be a heart attack or stroke. Thus, in the long-run, high blood pressure is worse. ======================================== Thank you for watching. Please feel free to comment, like or share with your friends. 100% Natural Ways To Lower Cholesterol And Prevent Heart disease

03:33
Cholesterol is made in your liver and has many important functions. For example, it helps keep the walls of your cells flexible and is needed to make several hormones. However, like anything in the body, too much cholesterol in the wrong places creates problems. Like fat, cholesterol does not dissolve in water. Instead, its transport in the body depends on molecules called lipoproteins, which carry cholesterol, fat and fat-soluble vitamins in the blood. Different kinds of lipoproteins have different effects on health. For example, high levels of low-density lipoprotein (LDL) result in cholesterol deposits in blood vessel walls, which can lead to clogged arteries, strokes, heart attacks and kidney failure. In contrast, high-density lipoprotein (HDL) helps carry cholesterol away from vessel walls and helps prevent these diseases. Here are 6 natural ways to increase the “good” HDL cholesterol and lower the “bad” LDL cholesterol. 1.Focus on Monounsaturated Fats Monounsaturated fats may reduce the oxidation of lipoproteins, which contributes to clogged-arteries. Monounsaturated fats are healthy because they decrease harmful LDL cholesterol, increase good HDL cholesterol and reduce harmful oxidation. few great sources of monounsaturated fats are: olive-oil, canola-oil, tree nuts and avocados. 2.Eat Soluble Fiber Soluble fiber is a group of different compounds in plants that dissolve in water and that humans can’t digest. However, the beneficial bacteria that live in your intestines can digest soluble-fiber. In fact, they require it for their own nutrition. These good-bacteria, also called probiotics, reduce both harmful kinds of lipoproteins, LDL and VLDL. 3.Limit your intake of foods full of saturated fats and trans fats. Foods with a lot of saturated fat include butter, fatty flesh like red-meat, full-fat and low-fat dairy products, palm-oil, and coconut-oil. If you see partially hydrogenated fat in the Ingredient List of a food label, that food has trans fats. 4.Exercise Exercise is a win-win for heart health. Not only does it improve physical fitness and help combat obesity, but it also reduces harmful LDL and increases beneficial HDL. In one study, twelve weeks of combined aerobic and resistance exercise reduced the especially harmful oxidized LDL in 20 overweight women. While even low-intensity exercise like walking increases HDL, making your exercise longer and more intense increases the benefit. 5.Lose Weight Dieting influences the way your body absorbs and produces cholesterol. Weight loss reduces total cholesterol, in part by decreasing the creation of new cholesterol in the liver. Weight loss has had different, though generally beneficial, effects on HDL and LDL in different studies. 6.Choose protein-rich plant foods Choose protein-rich plant foods such as legumes or beans, nuts, and seeds over meat. Common legumes include lentils, peas, and beans, such as pinto beans, red beans, white beans, and soybeans. They’re full of nutritional riches and are a very healthy, protein-packed alternative to meat. Legumes help lower total cholesterol, LDL cholesterol, blood sugar, and insulin levels, and may even lower cancer risk.

How to lower blood pressure quickly and naturally

03:12
Learning how to lower blood pressure quickly and naturally comes very handy, especially in times when medicines are hardly accessible. (Important : I don't own the background music) High blood pressure or hypertension is one of the most common diseases among adults. Studies show that out of every three adults around the world there is one who suffers from high blood pressure. High blood pressure should not be underestimated; it is a highly dangerous condition, with complications that may lead to death if not controlled, as it is closely linked to cardiovascular diseases, kidney failure, and diabetes and retina damage. If you are suffering from high blood pressure, these factors can increase your blood pressure: 1. Salt intake rates (more than 6 grams per day), sodium in salt causes high blood pressure. 2. Drinking Too Much Caffeine 3. Obesity can hinder the capacity of the heart to pump blood to the organs, which increases the blood pressure. 4. Lack of exercise, especially aerobic exercises such as walking, swimming, and cycling. 5. Anxiety and stress 6. Smoking. 7. high-fat diet, especially saturated fat, eating fast food Garlic may be the best treatment for high blood pressure, according to studies, garlic help to reduce blood pressure, cholesterol, and strengthen the heart. How To Lower Blood pressure quickly and naturally using garlic Eat 2 to 3 cloves of garlic throughout the day You don't have to eat them all at once. You can simply add the garlic to the foods you eat throughout the day to get up to 2 to 3 cloves you need to treat high blood pressure. Try a lemon juice several times during the day Honey For those who suffer from high blood pressure, take 1-2 teaspoons daily, preferably on an empty stomach. 🍊 The Most Powerful Fruit For Lowering Blood Pressure

04:59
How I Lowered My Dad’s Blood Pressure by 23% In Just A Few days - NO Drugs or Diets: 👉 http://drsam.co/yt/LowerMyBP Or you can watch this video: http://drsam.co/yt/WorstFoodForBP Refferences: 1. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/15158307 2. http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/10799367 3. https://clinicaltrials.gov/ct2/results?term=pomegranate ======================================= 💖 One Of The Most Powerful Fruits For Lowering Blood Pressure Pomegranate ======================================= One of my favorite heart-health fruits is Pomegranate. It’s not very popular in America, but it’s widely used in the Middle East, Asia and the Mediterranean. Which incidentally, all 3 regions are known for having lower heart disease and blood pressure. This amazing fruit not only tastes good, but has a multitude of health benefits that can help you lower your blood pressure and ensure the health of your heart and arteries. (2) Helps regulate blood pressure. Powerful Antioxidant effect. Helps clear artery blockages. Lowers "bad" LDL cholesterol. Can help with various healthy conditions (erectile dysfunction, prostate cancer, kidney disease and more). How It Works A compound found only in pomegranates is called punicalagin (pu-nee-kal-ah-gin). It has been shown to offer benefits for the heart and blood vessels. Punicalagin is responsible for pomegranate's antioxidant and health benefits. (3) It not only lowers blood pressure and increases the speed at which heart blockages caused by atherosclerosis are removed, it also lowers bad cholesterol. Studies have been done on patients with severe carotid (ker-ah-tid) artery blockages. They were given an ounce of pomegranate juice each day for a year. Amazingly, the patient's blood pressure lowered by 12%, and there was a 30% reduction in atherosclerotic plaque, meaning the arteries were cleared (1). More studies have shown that potent antioxidant compounds found in pomegranates reduce platelet aggregation and naturally lower blood pressure, factors that prevent both heart attacks and strokes (2). Side-Effects & Warnings As far as negative side-effects, there aren’t any. However, drinking fruit juice - whether it’s from an orange or pomegranate - isn’t a good idea because of a few factors. Sugar increases blood pressure and fruit sugar, fructose is the worst. Fruit juice, including pomegranate, has a high glycemic index and thus, it spikes up your blood sugar and insulin levels. This in turn can increase stomach fat, diabetes and yes, blood pressure levels. Eating the actual fruit is best, including the seeds. It has additional fiber, healthy fats and many other benefits. However, this is a messy fruit and 95% of people will not eat it and pick apart all the little pomegranate seeds. Ideally, you would take Pomegranate Fruit Extract, at a 5:1 ratio at 200 mgs daily. That’s the clinically proven extract and dosage for improving your blood pressure levels.3 How To Get Much Better & Safer Results One thing to remember is you never want to use only ONE ingredient to achieve a health goal. This is because your body will quickly adapt and the ingredient will stop working. This means you’ll need to use a higher and higher dosage -- which will eventually lead to negative side-effects. Of course, this makes sense because you don’t only eat ONE type of vegetable (broccoli) all the time for total health, right?... Additionally, whatever is causing the health problem - in this case, “high blood pressure”, is NEVER from only ONE cause -- it’s usually multiple reasons. And that's why you want to “attack” the problem using multiple mechanisms. Research has shown that Pomegranate extract works much better, when utilized with other complementary ingredients, for dramatically improved blood pressure and total heart-health. Clinically proven ingredients to use with Pomegranate extract is: Magnesium “blend” (glycinate, malate, citrate, etc.) English Hawthorn Berry Extracts (standardized to 3.2% vitexin-2-rhamnosides and 2% flavonoids) Grape Seed Extract (MegaNatural®-BP 85% Total Phenolics) Celery Seed Extract (85% 3nB; 42.5% phthalides) Lycopene Extract (5%) L-Arginine (L-Arginine-Alpha-Ketoglutarate) The special synergy between these correct “stack of ingredients”, creates a much safer and more effective solution. ======================================== Thank you for watching. If you have diabetes, maintaining levels of total cholesterol and LDL (or "the bad cholesterol") within a healthy target range is very important in preventing cardiac and neurological problems. However, people who suffer from both diabetes and high blood pressure are often concerned that their blood pressure and cholesterol-lowering drugs will raise their blood sugar. The truth is that this is very rare; increased blood sugars seldom occur as a result of taking medications that lower cholesterol. No matter what, if you have diabetes it's important to maintain an optimal blood sugar level and cholesterol level at all times. According to the American Diabetes Association, the basic goal for people with diabetes is a blood sugar reading between 70 and 130 on an empty stomach, and less than 180 two hours after the start of a meal. The blood pressure goal is less than 130 over 80 and LDL goal of less than 100. Talk to your physician or diabetes educator to determine your specific goals. Proper diet, exercise, weight control, and medication all play incredibly important parts in preventing any major complications, including cardiac and neurological ones, and should be part of your daily routine. I hope this answers any questions you may have about having diabetes and managing your high blood pressure and cholesterol. If you have any other questions, a CVS pharmacist will always be here to help. Source: CVS Caremark Health Resources

What REALLY Causes High Blood Pressure (Hypertension)?

Give Dr. Berg a Review: http://bit.ly/DrBergReviewGoogle VIDEOS ON INSULIN RESISTANCE: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxl8h... Dr. Berg talks about the link between high blood pressure and insulin resistance. Insulin resistances, which is high insulin stiffens your arteries, disrupts the endothelial layer of your arteries, which start the hardening of the arteries as well as the cascade effect of cholesterol and calcium to accumulate in the arteries. High insulin (insulin resistance) creates inflammation in the arteries. This condition also causes sodium retention and a loss of potassium because insulin is necessary to allow this mineral in the cell. Diuretics also have a side-effect of causing insulin resistance. The treatment of hypertension is mainly medications because we are told that there is no cure, only treatment. The pathophysiology is in reality a disruption of the artery wall creating vasoconstriction, stiffness and less elasticity. The additional symptom of hypertension is headaches and a risk for stroke and heart attack. The home remedies involve actions to lower insulin - cutting out sugar, adding vegetables to get your potassium and even apple cider vinegar can help.
