Today I'm sharing the simple healthy eating habits that I use every day. These are the eating habits I use to stay healthy. I don't prescribe to a diet to be healthy or lose weight because I think it's restrictive and isn't something that is easy to stick to. I'm OK eating fats, sugars, and calories, but it's just about doing it in a healthier way. So, these healthy eating habits are something you can easily adopt in your everyday eating. IMPORTANT: I want to note this isn't all about weight loss. I'm not saying I was overweight before at all. But, I wasn't eating healthy or nourishing my body. I ate unhealthy portions and unhealthy foods. Arizona man, 110 years-old, credits long life and health to 5 foods
MESA, Arizona - Good old father's advice and simple foods are credited with helping a Valley man reach a milestone birthday. "Eat properly and get your rest," recommends Bernando LaPallo. Words to live by considering the Mesa resident was born in Brazil in 1901 and has lived to be 110 years old. "They had no automobiles, no airplanes I saw them all come about," remembered LaPallo. LaPallo claims he's never been sick a day in his life. He walks every morning and eats mostly organic fruits and veggies. "People ask me what do you do to stay so young," LaPallo explained. "I say, 'Well you've heard the old saying, you are what you eat.'" So what's LaPallo's secret? Five foods: garlic, honey, cinnamon, chocolate and olive oil. "Use olive oil on your skin," LaPallo said. "Rub your feet rub your arms you'll never rust." Healthy habits LaPallo picked up from his father, a doctor, who lived to be 98. Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/Health-Foryou-1191025424300738/ आयुर्वेद के अनुसार दिनचर्या (Daily Routine) - ⦁ आज भारत में लगभग 80% लोग रोगी हैं। आज से 3000 वर्ष पूर्व महर्षि बागभट्ट द्वारा रचित अष्टांग हृदयं के अनुसार, बीमार व्यक्ति ही अपना सबसे अच्छा चिकित्सक हो सकता है, बीमारियों से मुक्त रहने के लिए दैनिक आहार विहार द्वारा स्वस्थ रहने के निम्न सूत्र हैं - ⦁ सुबह उठ कर गुनगुना पानी बिना कुल्ला किए बैठ कर, घूँट-घूँट (Sip-Sip) करके पीये । एक-दो गिलास जितना आप सुविधा से पी सकें, उतने से शुरुआत करके, धीरे-धीरे बढा कर सवा लिटर (1-1/4 Ltr.) तक पीना है । ⦁ भोजनान्ते विषमबारी अर्थात भोजन के अंत में पानी पीना विष पीने के समान है । इस लिए खाना खाने से आधा घंटा पहले और डेढ घंटा बाद तक पानी नहीं पीना । डेढ घंटे बाद पानी जरूर पीना । ⦁ पानी के विकल्प मे आप सुबह के भोजन के बाद मौसमी फलो का ताजा रस पी सकते हैं, दोपहर के भोजन के बाद छाछ और अगर आप ह्रदय रोगी नहीं हैं तो आप दहीं की लस्सी भी पी सकते हैं । शाम के भोजन के बाद गर्म दूध। यह आवश्यक है की इन चीजो का क्रम उलट-पुलट मत करें । ⦁ पानी जब भी पीये बैठ कर पीये और घूँट-घूँट कर पीये । ⦁ फ्रिज (रेफ्रीजिरेटर) का पानी कभी ना पियें । गर्मी के दिनो में मिट्ठी के घड़े का पानी पी सकते हैं । ⦁ सुबह का भोजन सूर्योदय के दो से तीन घंटे के अन्दर खा लेना चाहिए । अपना मनपसंद भोजन सुबह पेट भर कर खाएं । ⦁ दोपहर का भोजन सुबह के भोजन से एक तिहाई कम करके खाएं, जैसे सुबह अगर आप तीन रोटी खाते हैं तो दोपहर को दो खाएं । ⦁ इसके विपरीत शाम को भोजन के तुरंत बाद नहीं सोना । भोजन के बाद कम से कम 500 कदम जरूर सैर करें । संभव हो तो रात का खाना सूर्यास्त से पहले खा लें । ⦁ भोजन बनाने मे फ्रिज, माइक्रोवेव ओवन, प्रैशर कूकर, तथा एल्युमिनियम के बर्तनों का प्रयोग ना करें । ⦁ खाने में रिफाइन्ड तेल का इस्तेमाल ना करें । आप जिस क्षेत्र में रहते हैं वहाँ जो तेल के बीज उगाये जाते है उसका शुद्ध तेल प्रयोग करें, जैसे यदि आपके क्षेत्र में सरसों ज्यादा होती है तो सरसों का तेल, मूंगफली होती है तो मूंगफली का तेल, नारियल है तो नारियल का तेल । ⦁ खाने में हमेशा सेंधा नमक का ही प्रयोग करना चाहिए, ना की आयोडिन युक्त नमक का । ⦁ चीनी की जगह गुड़, शक्कर या धागे वाली मिश्री का प्रयोग कर सकते है । ⦁ कोई भी नशा ना करें, चाय, काफी, मांसाहार, मैदा, बेकरी उत्पादों का उपयोग नहीं करना चाहिए । ⦁ रात को सोने से पहले हल्दी वाला दूध दाँत साफ करने के बाद पीयें । ⦁ सोने के समय सिर पूर्व दिशा की तरफ तथा संबंध बनाते समय सिर दक्षिण दिशा की तरफ करना चाहिए । according to ayurveda daily routine , ayurveda daily routine , dinacharya in ayurveda ,ayurveda dinacharya , ayurvedic tips , daily activities ,my daily routine ,routine ,daily work schedule, the daily life ,best daily routine ,healthy daily routine ,daily routine for good health, daily routine for healthy life ,daily habits ,स्वस्थ्य दिनचर्या, आयुर्वेद के अनुसार दिनचर्या, Ideal Daily Routine, Ayurvedic Daily Routine

Dr. Joe Arvai is Professor and Svare Chair in Applied Decision Research at the University of Calgary. He is based in the Department of Geography, the Institute for Public Health, and the Institute for Sustainable Energy Environment and Economy. He is an internationally recognized expert in the risk and decisions sciences. Arvai’s research explores how people process information and make decisions. His research is focused on developing and testing decision support systems that can be used by people to improve decision quality across a wide range of environmental, social, and economic contexts. Dr. Arvai is also a Senior Researcher at Decision Research in Eugene, Oregon, and an Adjunct Professor in Engineering and Public Policy at Carnegie Mellon University in Pittsburgh, Philadelphia. Arvai is also a member of the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s Science Advisory Board, and is a member of the U.S. National Academy of Sciences’ Board on Environmental Change and Society. I honestly learned to be so positive like him, but towards the end of his life he was really unhappy. He would call me to feel better and I would always cheer him up the best way I could. My dad wasn't physically sick, but he was mentally. Mental health is silent. No one knows what your actually going through. I think that when he started to lose himself and what he enjoyed doing is when he started to feel this way. His passing taught me so much, and one being that I don't want to spend my life worrying, or sad. I want to be happy and live in complete joy. This time last year, when he passed I promised myself I would live differently and expand who I truly am...and I did just that. One year later : I moved, I became vegan, and I am doing what truly makes me happy and fulfilled which is helping others live their most positive and healthy life. The things that excite me, and make me happy (and maybe some things that scare me like sharing this vlog) is where my energy will flow.
