Step 1: Try an acupressure trick Try this acupressure trick: Hold your hands up, palms toward you, and tap the sides of your hands against each other. Then, cross your arms in front of you like a genie, so that your palms rest on your elbows and tap that area. Alternate tapping the two points for five to 10 minutes. This helps induce a bowel movement by stimulating your colon. Hepatic encephalopathy (also known as portosystemic encephalopathy) is the occurrence of confusion, altered level of consciousness, and coma as a result of liver failure. In the advanced stages it is called hepatic coma or coma hepaticum. It may ultimately lead to death. It is caused by accumulation in the bloodstream of toxic substances that are normally removed by the liver. The diagnosis of hepatic encephalopathy requires the presence of impaired liver function and the exclusion of an alternative explanation for the symptoms. Blood tests (ammonia levels) may assist in the diagnosis. Attacks are often precipitated by an intercurrent problem, such as infection or constipation. Hepatic encephalopathy is reversible with treatment. This relies on suppressing the production of the toxic substances in the intestine and is most commonly done with the laxative lactulose or with non-absorbable antibiotics. In addition, the treatment of any underlying condition may improve the symptoms. In particular settings, such as acute liver failure, the onset of encephalopathy may indicate the need for a liver transplant

Try Dr. Berg's Electrolytes: http://bit.ly/ElectrolytePowderCart10 Take Dr. Berg's Advanced Evaluation Quiz: http://bit.ly/EvalQuiz Your report will then be sent via email analyzing 104 potential symptoms, giving you a much deeper insight into the cause-effect relationship of your body issues. It's free and very enlightening. Dr. Berg talks about ketosis and constipation. Most people think constipation is a lack of fiber. Most fiber is insoluble, which means it does not digest. Your microbes live on fiber. Fat and protein are easier to digest than vegetable fibers. Vegetables can bloat you, so make sure you only consume vegetables you CAN digest easily without bloating or constipation. Fermented vegetables are really good for the system. Too many nuts or seeds, esp. raw nuts (enzyme inhibitors) can also be a factor. Quite a few people have allergies to lactose. If you get gas or bloating from dairy - then avoid it to see if the constipation goes away. GREAT DIGESTION VIDEO: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2KEul-uxnJ4 Hi guys, in this video I want to talk about ketosis and constipation. I wish it was always real cut and dry that it was always this one thing but it is usually a complex thing that could involve multiple things. Most people think that it is a lack of fiber that causes constipation, which is absolutely not true. In fact a lot of fiber that people usually consume even in vegetables is insoluble which means it is not digesting so adding more can constipate you more. If you look at what you did before starting this plan and after, we want to look at the big changes and we want to evaluate each change and I am talking about the constipation you had after you started the ketogenic plan. We are going to look at the change in vegetable fiber, the microbes live on fiber and they would get overwhelmed easily if you have not adapted these microbes into this new way of eating, just like keto adaptation you would have to look at the adaptation of microbes that have to evolve to grow to digest all these fibers because if they can’t digest this fibers, you are going to have this cruciferous and kale shake and you are going to bloat and gas and if that is happening you have to change the vegetables to maybe something like lettuce, spinach and other types of vegetables. healthisgeek.co FB Group: http://healthgeeks.co/healthgeeksbadasscommunity IBS is a worthless diagnosis, you may have SIBO symptoms this is what you need to do. Last night I had to take my girlfriend’s mom to the hospital she was having terrible stomach pains. “I feel like my intestines are twisting,” she told me. We walk into the ER, her BP is high at 190/100, they gave her some medication and told her to drink the contrast for the CT. Blood work was fine, and no obstructions are found, discharged her with a diagnosis of IBS. Here are the symptoms associated, bloating, heartburn /GERD, constipation/ diarrhea, and abdominal pains. These are similar to SIBO symptoms. Here’s the perfect storm clusterfuck that usually proceeds these symptoms. Heavy dose of antibiotics Use of PPI (acid-suppressing medication) Have symptoms of slow thyroid Previous history of constipation What The Hell is SIBO and how to tell it to GTFO. Here comes the new kid on the block SIBO (small intestine bacteria overgrowth). We all have good bacteria and bad bacteria in us, typically it’s kept in a nice balance. However certain situations can cause bad bacteria to translocate (aka move) to the small intestine. For example, if you are not a regular pooper that backup can allow the bacteria that’s normally found in the lower colon to move back to the small intestine. Anytime you eat food for that bacteria you bloat like you are 9 months pregnant. After eating those translocated bacteria give off gas, you have only two opening on where it can come out. 1st Lower esophagus sphincter (LES) the tube that connects to your stomach, when that opens you can get heartburn. 2nd is your butt and have farts for days. HERE’S WHAT TO DO GI Doctor for SIBO GI Doctor: Ask for Hydrogen Breath Test more specifically: Lactulose Breath Test (LBT) May need to use an antibiotic drug called Rifaximin and or Neomycin, one or both may be used to help the symptoms and clear out the offending bacteria. Alternative medicine for SIBO Alternative Doc: Apex Energetics K-64 GI SYNERGY (a “natural” alternative to an antibiotic) Also worth a try is Allicin from garlic can be used as another natural antibiotic You can try Huperzine A this helps to move the bowels, it is an acetylcholinesterase inhibitor. This what I talked about in my blog article “Why does coffee make me poop?” and can help your memory. You and SIBO You should do: LOW FODMAP Diet is the best for you since bacteria feed on sugars and carbohydrates. Make sure you are pooping, at home you can help to stimulate gut movement via the Vagus Nerve. To help this brain & gut connection try these: Chewing gum Singing loudly Press on the back of your tongue when brushing and gag a bit Gargle water hard These are tips from Dr. Kharrazian book Why is my brain not working?

You mentioned that you have a little ten-month-old who's had chronic constipation issues and the doctor's office recommended Miralax. Miralax is a very normal treatment option for chronic constipation and studies have shown that it's actually 95% effective. It's used in infants all the way up to adults. There have been a lot of studies to test the safety of Miralax on children that are less than 24 months. In all the studies that have been done so far, there are no adverse effects reported, meaning that Miralax has been proven to be safe. If you have any questions about it, don't hesitate to ask your baby's pediatrician about it. In addition to medication, there are other things you can do to help with chronic constipation. Make sure that your baby is well hydrated. A sign of hydration is that she's having at least six wet diapers a day and she should either be drinking formula or breast milk until she's a year of age. Most babies between 8-12 months of age are drinking a bottle or nursing 4-6 times a day. After a solid feeding at breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and then snacks in the morning and afternoon, and then before bedtime. So that's typical for a baby her age. You can also increase the fiber intake of her diet by feeding her high-fiber foods. If you have more specific questions about the constipation, again, don't hesitate to talk with your doctor. But if you have any other questions for me in the future, feel free to ask them on our Facebook page at facebook.com/intermountainmoms and recommend us to your friends and family, too.

★★★ Enter your information ✉ now to Get the Brand New Apple Watch! FREE ►►http://ow.ly/Kcvz30dM9qh ★★★ Prebiotics in Your Food Prebiotics are indigestible food ingredients that stimulate the growth and maintenance of the gut. They also feed and support the growth of beneficial bacteria, also known as probiotics, in your large intestine. Fructooligosaccharides are prebiotics compounds that are used to manufacture prebiotic supplements, for example inulin and oligofructose. They include several types of molecules. These prebiotic compounds are about one third as sweet as sugar is but they’re calorie free. This makes them useful sweeteners for dairy products, desserts, and breakfast cereals. Prebiotics can be found in a great variety of foods. Here is a list of five of those foods that can help you get a healthier gut: 1. Chicory and Jerusalem Artichoke - These foods are very high in inulin and oligofructose, which makes them used commonly for commercial sources of inulin. The chicory root contains about 15 to 20% of inulin. There is approximately 5 to 10% oligofructose. For prebiotic purposes, the daily consumption is recommended at 4 to 10 grams. Higher doses are recommended to help prevent constipation. 2. Asparagus and Leek - These are also a great source for inulin. The high source of inulin is great for producing butyrate. Butyrate is a short chain of fatty acid that probiotic bacteria produces. Butyrate helps prevent inflammation in the intestinal tract. 3. Onions - These also contain a very high amount of both inulin and oligofructose. This vegetable provides 6 to 18 grams of the prebiotic compound in a typical serving of onion soup. It has been shown that consuming onion prebiotics improves intestinal health. 4. Milk - Lactulose, found in pasteurized, ultra-heat treated, and sterilized milk, promotes the growth of bifidobacteria. This is a group of probiotic bacteria. To produce hydrogen, the intestinal bacteria uses the lactulose. The intestinal bacteria also uses the lactulose to neutralize free radicals and to protect against liver damage and cardiovascular disease. If you add exercise to your lifestyle while combining with milk, it is shown to have raised hydrogen levels. This in turn, increases the effectiveness of the lactulose. 5. Bananas and Sorghum - There’s a prebiotic referred to as a resistant starch, which you can get from raw green bananas. Resistant starch lets the probiotic bacteria survive the acidic environment in your stomach. If they can survive through the acidity in your stomach, they can then get to your small and large intestines where they need to be. Sorghum flour is an alternative for people who can’t digest gluten. This flour is also a very resistant starch. If you want to get the greatest amount of resistant starch, you can cook the sorghum. Prebiotics are great things to add to your diet and lifestyle. They help to keep you gut healthy and happy. It is suggested that you consume about 135 grams per day of prebiotic fiber. It may seem like a lot, but it’s all worth it in the end. Your body will thank you for putting all of the necessary amounts of prebiotics in it. It definitely makes it better knowing that the foods with prebiotics in them are so good! SHARE, LIKE & SUBSCRIBE FOR MORE FREE STUFF *****************************************************

visit http://tov1.net/hepatitis after hepatitis c treatment -- Hepatitis C is the most prevalent liver disease in the world. The World Health Organization considers Hepatitis C Virus (HCV) an epidemic. According to the Center for Disease Control (CDC), 20-30% of people with chronic Hepatitis C will eventually face life-threatening symptoms. Is there a cure for Hepatitis C? Yes, there are "cures" for Hepatitis C. There are standard conventional medicine treatments for HCV that can "cure" you. For Hepatitis C, "cure" is also known as "sustained viral remission" (SVR) and that is why I put the word cure in quotes. EVERYONE SHOULD consider their options and CONSULT WITH A HEP C DOCTOR about their chances of SVR which they can predict after looking at test results for genotype, viral load, and looking at the condition of your liver. According to a recent article published in June, 2009 Hepatology, "up to 50% of patients with chronic hepatitis C fail to respond to initial therapy with pegylated interferon (PEG-IFN) and ribavirin (RBV). With unsuccessful viral eradication, these patients remain at risk for developing progression of their liver disease." If you are among these "nonresponders," if you are someone who has low chances of Hepatitis C SVR through conventional treatment, if you are frightened of the many reported horrible side effects of Hep C conventional treatment, if you are seeking complimentary alternative medicine (CAM) to use in conjunction with interferon to improve your odds of beating Hepatitis C, or if you are simply interested in natural, holistic options, then you are in the right place! We strive to report all the natural healing options for Hepatitis C on this website but we emphasize working with a Hep Doctor is extremely important to your chances of recovery. I want to help you find answers to your questions about alternative treatments for hepatitis C. My goal is to give you objective information and a variety of viewpoints on alternative medicine for HCV (hepatitis C). I strive to provide consumer-oriented, unbiased, scientific information about hepatitis C and your treatment options. There is no one-size-fits-all answer to hepatitis C. But there are Hepatitis C complimentary alternative medicine (CAM) treatments and protocols that have been used successfully with a variety of results ranging from normalizing liver enzyme levels to total "clearance" and "elimination" of the hepatitis virus! Results vary. Methods of treatment for Hep C vary. It is our goal to make all this information available to you by providing well-researched reports on the methods being used. This website will present you with all of the alternative treatments to mitigate, possibly even cure hepatitis C! If you or a loved one suffer from Hep C, you know you need KNOWLEDGE to fight the Hepatitis C Virus, referred to by many as the "dragon". If you feel this way, you have come to the right place. We provide tons of information on Hepatitis C on this site, where you can explore and search for your own answers. This service is FREE all the time.
