Linzess

18:14
Constipation as an integral part of the Irritable Bowel Syndrome refers to fewer than 3 weekly bowel movements and may be associated with abdominal pain. A recently approved and of course obscenely expensive drug, Linzess, seems to stimulate the bowels so well that it either causes diarrhea in as many as 1 in 5 people or results in only modest symptom improvement in others. Of course the drug company’s copay card shields the patient, but not the insurance company, until next year’s premium increase.

How To Treat Ulcers -How To Overcome Stomach Ulcers Fast-Stomach Ulcers: Natural Remedies That Work

05:59
Identify the symptoms of ulcers. Abdominal problems are often difficult to diagnose, since the symptoms of any one problem are reminiscent of lots of different kinds of issues, including gastritis, pancreatitis, Crohn's disease, and a variety of other problems.[1] It's important to see your doctor and arrive at a proper diagnosis if you think you may have an ulcer, so you can receive the proper care. Ulcer symptoms include: Persistent or reoccurring stomach or abdominal pain. Often with pain there is discomfort or bloating sensation in the abdomen. Nausea and vomiting Loss of appetite Traces of blood in vomit. Dark black or tarry-looking stool indicative of bleeding from the upper part of the small intestine. Weight loss, pallor, light-headed, weakness. This is due to persistent blood loss Consult your doctor to eliminate other possibilities. If you're having stomach problems, it's not necessarily an ulcer. Based on the history of your symptoms, your diet, and a physical exam your doctor will be able to rule out the possibility or might advise further investigations to confirm it. The doctor may start you on medication to reduce the pain and acidity if the symptoms are mild Inform the doctor if there is persistence of blood in your vomit or if the stools continue to appear black or if your symptoms worsen. There may be an underlying serious condition that needs to be taken care of. In such a case you will be asked to undergo investigations Get a diagnosis. Your general practitioner may recommend that you visit a GI (gastrointestinal) specialist, during which time you may go through the following tests which can be used to properly diagnose any kind of digestive ulcer: Non-invasive tests include: Ultrasound whole abdomen MRI Upper gastrointestinal (GI) x-ray series. After drinking a chalky substance called barium, you will have x-rays taken to look for signs of ulcers in your stomach. Once the ulcer is detected, the doctor may advise endoscopy to know the exact location and extent of the ulcer. While you are under mild sedation, the doctor will insert a thin tube with a small camera at the end down your throat and into your stomach. The camera allows the doctor to see inside of your digestive track and tack a tissue sample. This is a simple and almost painless procedure. Blood tests. These will be performed to check for growths or antibodies to H. pylori, a bacteria commonly associated with gastritis and ulcers. Stool tests with culture is done to confirm bleeding and also the presence of H.pylori Tackle the root of the issue. Ulcers need to be healed by addressing the underlying condition of the ulcer specific to you. That's why it is important to get a proper diagnosis and follow through with your doctor's recommended treatment. Most treatments involve medication, eliminating the cause of the ulcer and dietary changes. Often, H. pylori infection is to blame, in which case the doctor will prescribe an antibiotic to help eradicate it. In some cases, you may be prescribed proton-pump inhibitor like omeprazole (Prilosec) or an H2 agonist (Pepcid), which blocks the production of acid in your stomach and allows your stomach to heal.[2] In extreme cases, surgery may be necessary or if complications develop as a result of ulcers that go too long without treatment. Acid Reflux Gurgle

00:58
Acid Reflux Gurgle http://acidreflux.product-truths.com - Acid reflux and gastroesophageal reflux illness (GERD) are closely associated, but the terms aren't necessarily interchangeable. Acid reflux will be the backward flow of stomach acid in to the esophagus - the tube that connects the throat and stomach. Acid reflux is more particularly generally known as gastroesophageal reflux. Throughout an episode of acid reflux, you could possibly taste regurgitated food or sour liquid in the back of the mouth or really feel a burning sensation within your chest (heartburn). Occasionally acid reflux progresses to GERD, a a lot more severe form of reflux. One of the most popular symptom of GERD is frequent heartburn. Other indicators and symptoms may include regurgitation of meals or sour liquid, difficulty swallowing, coughing, wheezing and chest discomfort - specifically whilst lying down at evening. If you have occasional acid reflux, life style modifications might help. Lose excess weight, consume smaller sized meals, and steer clear of foods that seem to trigger heartburn - which include fried or fatty foods, chocolate and peppermint. Avoiding alcohol and nicotine could assistance, too. If necessary, occasional acid reflux is often treated with over-the-counter medication, which includes: - Antacids, for instance Tums - H-2-receptor blockers, such as cimetidine (Tagamet HB) or famotidine (Pepcid AC) - Proton pump inhibitors, such as omeprazole (Prilosec OTC) If you suspect that you simply have GERD, your indicators and symptoms worsen, or youpractical experience nausea, vomiting or difficulty swallowing, speak for your medical professional. Prescription medicines may possibly aid. Inside a couple of instances, GERD could be treated with surgery or other procedures.

Nexium Side Effects | Get Permanent Relief From Heartburn & Acid Reflux

03:21
Check Out This Video and Book Recommendation To Learn Some Amazing Tips On Curing Your Acid Reflux & Heartburn Forever! Check It Out Here - http://tiny.cc/heartburn-remedy Nexium Side Effects - In this video, we discuss the effects of Nexium, which include both the short term side effects and long term health concerns. Nexium is a proton pump inhibitor (PPI) often prescribed to treat heartburn and acid reflux, and more specifically, gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD). To provide relief, the drug effectively stops the stomach from producing acid. While this drug does have the ability to provide short term relief, it also has the potential to lead to long term health problems. Most people are familiar with the side effects that are displayed on the commercial and box label because, quite simply, this is what is advertised. These side effects of Nexium include headaches, nausea, diarrhea, dry mouth, stomach pain and constipation. In addition, there are some even more severe initial Nexium side effects: dizziness, uneven heart rate, seizures, choking, and cramping. However, what is less known about the side effects of Nexium is what it can do to your body a year, 2 years, or even longer down the road. Stomach acid can cause pain, hence acid reflux and why you are probably considering or already prescribed Nexium. However, stomach acid is a natural occurrence in the body. When you stop something in your body that is supposed to happen naturally, some nasty stuff can happen, especially if you take Nexium for too long (ie. more than 8 weeks). In 40% of people who take Nexium for more than 8 weeks, they actually become addicted. And if you do end up taking Nexium for a year or more, it can increase the chance of Osteporosis by 45% and the chance of dementia by 18%. That is just startling! In addition, with the lack of acid production, natural absorption of minerals is hindered, your stomach is more prone to infection and bacteria growth, which in turn, increases the chances of stomach cancer. Like most prescription drugs, Nexium obviously serves a purpose and can rightfully be prescribed by a doctor to treat your heartburn or acid reflux. However, please note, that Nexium just provides short term relief instead of a long term solution to prevent you from having those uncomfortable symptoms in the future. This is why, after doing our research, we recommend that you click the link at the top of the video description to learn about some more natural ways to provide a permanent cure to heartburn and acid reflux. Betten-AidTM has all natural ingredients, is naturally sweetened, has a pleasant flavor and does not leave a chalky aftertaste in your mouth. Dr. Eisenstein's recommendation: Both the enzymes and the probiotics are natural products which aid the body in digesting food thus avoiding a variety of digestive problems. If you are experiencing digestive issues (i.e., indigestion, bloating, heartburn, acid reflux, IBS, GERD), take 1-2 tablets three times a day with meals. For occasional heartburn take 1-2 tablets as needed. Chew slowly to get the maximum benefits. For chronic heartburn take one to two tablets with meals. For break-through discomfort take 1-2 tablets as needed. If you are taking PPIs (Proton Pump Inihibitors: i.e., Nexium®, Prilosec®, Prevacid®, Protonics®, Aciphex®, etc.) YOU MUST WEAN OFF THESE MEDICATIONS SLOWLY TO AVOID REBOUND HEARTBURN OR REFLUX. Even missing one day of your PPI may precipitously cause severe rebound. Start taking Betten-Aid for a few days before you begin cutting back on your pharmaceuticals. After a few days take the pharmaceutical every other day, then every third day, etc. In addition, take two Betten-Aid tablets three times a day with meals. As you are slowly cutting back on your pharmaceuticals you may need to take as many as 10 or more Betten-Aid tablets daily. All You Need to Know About Taking the Purple Pill For GERD, Acid Reflux Or Heartburn - FAQ

01:33
► http://howtobuildachickencoop.tesgis.com ◄ THIS THE MOST EFFECTIVE CURE FOR HEARTBURN & ACID REFLUX THAT EXISTS & REALLY WORKS!!! All You Need to Know About Taking the Purple Pill For GERD, Acid Reflux Or Heartburn - FAQ Is Nexium or the "purple pill" really safe for my acid reflux? Does it actually do what it claims to do? Are there any better alternatives? After reading this article, you will be more knowledgeable and gain a deeper insight on the main concerns and questions that patients often ask when taking Nexium for their GERD, acid reflux or heartburn. What is the main purpose of Nexium and how is it supposed to help? The generic name of this drug is esomeprazole (pronounced ee so MEP ra zol). belongs to that group of drugs known as proton pump inhibitors, with its main purpose of decreasing the amount of acid produced in the stomach. Its common use is to treat the symptoms of gastroesophageal reflux disease and duodenal ulcers (caused by helicobacter pylori or H.pylori), but it's also prescribed for those undergoing NSAID therapy for gastric ulcer prevention and for the treatment of gastrointestinal ulcers linked with Crohn's disease. Doctors often prescribe this drug as well for those with Zollinger-Ellison syndrome and healing erosive esophagitis (damage to one's esophagus caused by stomach acid - often a result of continuous reflux attacks for years). What are the main precautions before I take this drug? 1. Although it is an over the counter (OTC) drug which you can easily get in most drugstores, it is best to get a doctor's recommendation. Especially if you are a pregnant or breast-feeding mother. Be careful that you are not allergic to esomeprazole or to any other benzimidazole medication (albendazole - Albenza, or mebendazole - Vermox). 2. Inform the doctor if you or any member of your family had or has liver disease or low levels of magnesium in your blood. 3. Remember that Nexium is not for immediate relief of heartburn symptoms. A regular antacid is normally enough. 4. This drug might change the effects on some other medication that you are taking and in some cases, should not be used together. Some of these include cilostazol, citalopram, clopidogrel, diazepam, digoxin, dexamethasone, methotrexate, rifampin, tacrolimus, st. john's wort, and voriconazole. Also HIV/AIDS medications such as, but not limited to rilpivirine, saquinavir and etravirine. This list is not complete as other drugs could still interact and cause further problems. And even if these other meds are non-prescribed or consist of vitamins or food supplements, you still need your doctor's advice. 5. If you have osteoporosis or osteopenia, and ages 50 and above, tell your physician as taking proton pump inhibitors may increase one's risk of bone fracture specifically in the hip, wrist or spine. This effect occurs mostly to those who take it long-term or at high doses. What are the complications or side effects that I should be well aware of? Less serious side effects include mild diarrhea, nausea, gas, stomach pain, constipation, drowsiness or dry mouth. Stop using this drug and call your doctor if you experience symptoms of low magnesium such as dizziness and confusion, jerking muscle movements, fast or uneven heart rate, feeling jittery, muscle cramps or weakness (limp feeling), cough or choking feeling, seizure (convulsions), or diarrhea that is bloody or watery. Diarrhea can also be a sign of a new infection but do not take anti-diarrhea medicine unless you have a go signal from your physician. Get emergency help if you encounter signs of an allergic reaction such as hives, swelling of one's face, lips, tongue or throat, and difficulty breathing. Is there an overdose to this? Definitely, just like all drugs do. Use only the recommended dosage and if you think you had an overdose, seek emergency attention immediately. Overdose symptoms include headache, drowsiness, confusion, fast heartbeat, blurred vision, dry mouth, sweating, flushing, tremor, shortness of breath, seizure (convulsions) or loss of coordination. Never take a double dose at a time unless prescribed. acid cause heartburn indigestion can citric acid cause heartburn acid agrevate food heartburn reflux that heartburn gerd symptoms acid reflux heartburn gerd symptoms of acid reflux heartburn remedies acid reflux heartburn remedies acid reflux disease yowsheartbu heartburn remedies acid reflux disease acid reflux disease heartburn remedies acid reflux heartburn remedies yowsheartburn com heartburn remedies acid reflux symptom heartburn remedies acid reflux acid reflux heartburn remedies yowshea

Norflox-TZ Tablet नॉरफ्लॉक्स टीज़ेड टैबलेट uses side effects dosage precaution how to use & review NORFLOX-TZ Tablets (Norfloxacin , Tinidazole , Lactic acid bacillus) NORFLOX-TZ Each Film coated Tablet contains Norfloxacin IP......400 mg Tinidazole IP......600 mg Lactic Acid Bacillus......120 x 106 spores (Appropriate overages added) Colours :Titanium Dioxide and Lake Quinoline Yellow WS Norfloxacin inhibits bacterial deoxyribonucleic acid synthesis and is bactericidal. At the molecular level, three specific events are attributed to norfloxacin in Escherichia coli cells Norfloxacin has been shown to be active against most strains of the following microorganisms both in vitro and in clinical infections: Gram-positive Aerobes Enterococcus faecalis Staphylococcus aureus Staphylococcus epidermidis Staphylococcus saprophyticus Streptococcus agalactiae Gram-negative Aerobes Citrobacterfreundii Enterobacteraerogenes Enterobacter cloacae Escherichia coli Klebsiellapneumoniae Neisseria gonorrhoeae Proteus mirabilis Proteus vulgaris Pseudomonas aeruginosa Serratiamarcescens Tinidazole Tinidazole is an antiprotozoal, antibacterial agent. The nitro-group of tinidazole is reduced by cell extracts of Trichomonas. The free nitro-radical generated as a result of this reduction may be responsible for the antiprotozoal activity. Indications Treatment of diarrhea and dysentery of amoebic, bacterial or mixed origins. Dosage and Administration The dosage is one tablet twice daily for 5 days. Contraindications In patients hypersensitive to quinolone or to tinidazole or any other excipient History of hypersensitivity, tendinitis, or tendon rupture associated with the use of norfloxacin or any member of the quinolone group of antimicrobial agents Tinidazole should be avoided in patients with organic neurological disorders. Tinidazole is contraindicated in patients having, or with a history of, blood dyscrasia, although no persistent haematological abnormalities have been noted in clinical or animal studies. Warnings and Precautions Tendinopathy and Tendon Rupture Fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin, are associated with an increased risk of tendinitis and tendon rupture in all ages. This adverse reaction most frequently involves the Achilles' tendon, and rupture of the Achilles' tendon may require surgical repair. Tendinitis and tendon rupture in the rotator cuff (the shoulder), the hand, the biceps, the thumb, and other tendon sites have also been reported. The risk of developing fluoroquinolone-associated tendinitis and tendon rupture is further increased in older patients, usually over 60 years of age, in patients taking corticosteroid drugs, and in patients with kidney, heart or lung transplants. Factors, in addition to age and corticosteroid use, that may independently increase the risk of tendon rupture include strenuous physical activity, renal failure, and previous tendon disorders such as rheumatoid arthritis. Exacerbation of Myasthenia Gravis Fluoroquinolones, including norfloxacin, have neuromuscular blocking activity and may exacerbate muscle weakness in persons with myasthenia gravis. Safety in Children and Adolescents, and during Pregnancy and Lactation The safety and efficacy of oral norfloxacin in paediatric patients, adolescents (below the age of 18 years), pregnant women, and nursing mothers have not been established. The oral administration of single doses of norfloxacin, six times the recommended human clinical dose (on an mg/kg basis), caused lameness in immature dogs. Histologic examination of the weight-bearing joints of these dogs revealed permanent lesions of the cartilage. Other quinolones also produced erosions of the cartilage in weight-bearing joints and other signs of arthropathy in immature animals of various species.
