In response, it releases antibodies called immunoglobulin E to neutralize the allergen. The next time you were to eat corn, your body would identify it and signal the immune system to release histamine and other chemicals. Allergy symptoms are caused by this reaction. However, this allergy is extremely rare. It often occurs because of cross-contamination with another allergen, such as soy. Remove this beetroot mixture in a bowl 11. Now add 2 boiled and mashed potatoes in it 12. Also add 2 tbsp corn starch powder and mix this all thoroughly 13. Now make small cutlets of this mixture You can even use cutlet molds to give them a perfect shape 14. Now take some corn starch powder in a small plate 15. Dust the cutlets in the corn starch powder This will make the cutlets firm and will not allow them to break while frying 16. Heat 1 tbsp sunflower oil in a fry pan 17. Place the cutlets on the pan 18. Fry these cutlets till it becomes crisp for about 5-8 min on each side 19. Remove in a serving dish 20. Serve hot with mint chutney Recipe 2: Cucumber & tomato raita 1. Put 1 cup low fat yogurt in a bowl 2. Grate ½ a carrot in it 3. Also chop ½ a cucumber in it 4. Now, chop ½ a tomato as well 5. Finally, add some salt, jeera powder and chaat masala for taste 6. Add ½ tsp fennel seeds as well 7. You can always substitute with arrow root powder, if you prefer. Corn Kernels: A large ear of corn kernels has roughly around 125 calorie. In this recipe, I used only 1/2 ear of corn. Corn has less sugar and more protein and fibre. Corn is gluten free. Corn is a good source of antioxidants, carotenoid antioxidants found in corn kernels support the immune system, corn has a high source of filling fibre. Corn is beneficial to the heart, helps in reversing hypertension, and in controlling blood sugar levels. Add 2 tsp light soy sauce 11. And 1 tsp sugar 12. Finally add some salt and pepper to taste 13. Stir and sauté for another 3-4 min 14. Serve hot Recipe 2: Soy cutlets 1. Heat 2 cups of water in a pan and soak 250 gm soy chunks into it for 5 minutes 2. Once cooled down, drain the water and mash them thoroughly in a big bowl 3. Also mash 200 gm boiled potatoes in it 4. Now add ½ cup finely chopped spinach 5. Add 2 tbsp finely chopped coriander 6. Finely chop and add 3 green chilies 7. Add ½ tbsp ginger-garlic paste 8. Add 1 tsp cumin and coriander powder each 9. Now add some salt to taste 10. Mix this thoroughly 11. Now make cutlets of this mixture. You can give it any shape or just use a cutlet mold 12. Next heat 2 tbsp olive oil on a fry pan 13. Take some 2 tbsp semolina in a plate 14. Now coat the cutlets with the semolina and place them on the fry pan 15. Fry on both the sides till it gets crispy for about 5-8 min 16. This is my experience of going wheat, corn and soy free in the past. The verdict? I believe eliminating the fats (animal products, oils, and desserts) has been far more beneficial. In addition to staying away from processed foods, refined sugar, coffee, and alcohol of course. But I never consumed as much of that stuff as I did animal products in my past.

There is a long list of foods she can't eat, but the main restricted items are: wheat, corn, soy, diary (except plain yogurt), beef, pork and citrus fruit. Although this condition is common in children, this infection can attack people of any age. ----------------------------- Symptoms: • Dry & intense coughing • Loud & distinct breathing • Difficulty in eating, sleeping & breathing ----------------------------- Food groups to consume in wet cough: 1. Warm liquids: Help soothe the throat & flush out toxins from the body Foods to consume: Green tea, soups, fruit & vegetable juices, coconut water and barley water 2. Soft foods: Easy to swallow Foods to consume: Puddings, custards, bananas, mash potatoes, rice, porridge, egg omelette, yogurt, lentils and soft fruits like pear, kiwi, oranges, watermelon and mangoes ----------------------------- Recipes based on the above food groups: Recipe 1: Warm soup 1. Put ½ chopped carrot in a pressure cooker. 2. Add 1 chopped tomato in it. 3. Add 2-4 spinach leaves as well. 4. Also add 2 chopped beetroots. 5. Now, add 1-2 cups water and pressure cook for 2-3 whistles. 6. Allow it to cool. 7. Now, put them all in a blender and lend them well. 8. Pour in bowl and add some salt and pepper 9. Garnish with chopped coriander 10. Serve hot Recipe 2: Lentil dish 1. Wash ½ cup pigeon eye lentils (tur dal) and soak it for 1 hour 2. Add a pinch of turmeric and pressure cook it until 2-3 whistles 3. Now, heat 1 tsp oil in a sauce pan 4. Add ¼ tsp cumin seeds and a pinch of asafoetida in it. 5. Add 1 chopped green chilli as well 6. Also add ½ cup washed spinach leaves. 7. Now, add 1 ½ tsp red chilli powder 8. Saute this mixture till the spinach is cooked for 5-6 min 9. Finally, mash the cooked lentil and add it to the pan along with 1 cup water 10. Mix well and add some salt to taste 11. Boil all these ingredients for 10-15 min 12.
