Inkjet Printers: 5 Fast Facts

02:43
See The 10 Best Inkjet Printers on Ezvid Wiki ►► https://wiki.ezvid.com/best-inkjet-printers Fact #1. Before inkjet printers, dot matrix printers were used as the standard method for printing. By the 1960s, printer companies were working toward developing efficient inkjet printing that would be both high-quality and cost-efficient. IBM began to develop continuous inkjet printing. It's very fast, but can be expensive. Fact #2. In 1977, Siemens invented drop-on-demand inkjet printing that used thermal technology rather than electricity. The printers developed by Epson produce the same result. However, they used piezoelectric technology. Canon and Hewlett Packard worked tirelessly to create a controlled flow of ink in both types of printers to avoid clogging and dried, splotchy ink on the paper. By the late 1980s, the printers were put on the market for offices and average consumers to purchase. Fact #3. Continuous inkjet is not generally used by the average consumer. They are highly popular in fast-paced industrial settings. Drop-on-demand printers are the most common type of printer found in homes and the average office. Because the technology has been so well-developed, many printers can now be purchased for under 100 dollars at a local department or office supply store. Fact #4. There a number of advantages to opting for an inkjet printer over the old-fashioned dot matrix or daisywheel printers. Primarily, they print in greater detail with a higher, more accurate resolution. They also print photographs with ease. Inkjet models also don't have to warm up before being used. They can be turned on and begin printing immediately. Fact #5. You should first consider the printer's compatibility with your computer's operating system. Many models are compatible with a wide range of operating systems. However, it's always a good idea to check the specifications and software compatibility before purchasing. You should also decide what you plan to use your printer for. Finally, consider your budget.

Anet A8 - The best cheap DIY 3D printer in 2018?

14:07
It's 2018 and any 3D printer worth buying will cost $1000 or more, right? After years of following desktop 3D printing I chose the Anet A8 as my first step into 3D printing. I wanted to prove that this cheap $160 DIY 3D printer isn't necessarily total junk. If you want to get into 3D printing and your goal is to open the box, plug in the printer, and start printing quality prints, you shouldn't get this printer. However, if you're like me and you really enjoy the building and fine tuning process just as much as using the machine, I would highly recommend this printer. This printer allowed me to delve into the world of 3D printing without breaking the bank. How OffiNeeds is helping corporates plan and purchase office essentials

06:27
In the 35th episode of TC Show Off, a weekly show that provides startups a platform to showcase their businesses, Srikanth Acharya, CEO, OffiNeeds, showcases how his e-commerce portal is solving a big pain point of the corporates by helping them plan and purchase office stationery, IT consumables and corporate goods under one roof. The company has been in the business of selling office essentials offline since 1957. It is more like a family business which was set up over 50 years ago. Acharya has been associated with the offline side of this business since almost a decade. According to him, this is the biggest strength of the startup as it already knows the key parameters of the sector. Customers can place orders in bulk and can get them delivered at their doorstep. He said the startup has two types of customers—small or medium size businesses and medium to large businesses. The purchase value of the former varies from Rs 5,000 to Rs 15,000 a month while that of larger companies range Rs 50,000-5 lakh, he said. Acharya said the company aspires to become for businesses what Flipkart and Amazon are for consumers. For more logon to vccircle.com/vcc-tv.

Why AI? The major benefits at the moment for events implementing artificial intelligence technology at their event are the following: Speed up lines Save on temporary staff costs Untap marketing opportunities for large events Improve the security of your event How? Our research says that 25% of event apps on the market offer some level of AI. In other cases you may want to use face recognition technology. If you plan large events, this definitely one is for you, if you plan more intimate meetings, you may want to ignore this use. Chatbots Chatbots are the most accessible way to implement AI at your event. We are more and more used to talking to our Alexa, Google Home, Apple Homepod - we ask questions to SIRI, Cortana every day. Now think about the power of asking questions about your event to your phone (typing or by voice) and getting targeted information. That’s value my friend. We want specific information, now. The biggest benefit is the ability to save on recurring questions made to your temp staff and use apps intelligently instead. Marketing AI is a data goldmine. Specially when it comes to making sense of data. What about finally having smart information about the marketing opportunities in our event? What about knowing that if someone purchased a ticket, someone else in their network may be interested because an algorithm found that out for you? The deep learning component of AI is the one that predicts and offers intelligence that can be immediately activated in an event. Security and Lines Another interesting use of AI is the ability to recognize faces and get data about attendees. This can be used to your advantage if you want to speed up check in at large events. Scanning a face can be very accurate and cross referenced with social media profiles to speed up access. Many music festivals are now using facial recognition to randomly scan attendees and identify potential terror threats, one of the most pressing issues for event professionals today. In Conclusion We are just at the beginning of the Artificial Intelligence revolution in events. More great things are to come, in the meantime keep yourself informed, ask your suppliers what are they doing about it and how you can use it strategically to deliver value to your attendees. That’s it for me today, If you enjoyed this video, I demand you give us a like, it would mean the world. Also subscribe to get some more great content.

Is print still crucial for marketing?, In a nutshell. As a printer of course I'm going to say yes, absolutely. But to prove my point let's answer this from a consumers point of view. Should I promote my business online with Google ad's, Social media and email marketing? Or, do I use the tried and tested method of marketing -- print? The answer is, all of the above and more -- you do whatever works for your business to give you additional revenue and best return on investment. So, can print and email marketing co-exist and more importantly be beneficial to each other? The introduction of cross media has seen marketing campaigns target business from all angles. In today's world of technology, we all want information at our finger tips, hence the rise of e shots and smart phones for web browsing. Businesses are often keen to follow the latest trends to market their business and are forgetting about a medium that has been a success for over 2000 years. The power of print should never be underestimated and must be utilised within your marketing campaign. The arrival of QR codes have seen advertising campaigns benefit print by directing the consumer to a product with no distraction. Print can not only add value to your business but increase traffic to those other marketing media's. Emails so often fall victim to the spam filter and get disregarded as trash if they don't instantly grab the viewer's attention. Print coupled with good design is Powerful. Surveys have shown that 80% of advertising mail received does get read in the home, so having captured the attention let good design do the talking for you. Modern digital printing methods allow variable data commonly used for email marketing to come to life, messages promoting your service or product can be personalised to offer taylor made targeted print solutions. Print can build your brand and influence decision makers. Try to be creative with it and don't ignore the power of Print. ........................................
