Open for more info ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Hey everyone! I love cats but unfortunately I have become allergic to them. I don't own a cat right now but hope to in the future. I have had experience caring for cats in the past. I researched some cat breeds for allergy sufferers. I included some details about their personalities. There are many hyper cats on this list. It seems a lot of hypoallergenic cats are more high energy and a bit more needy. No cat is 100% hypoallergenic. Don't commit to a cat until you test out if you will be allergic. Each breed produces different amounts of allergens. My favorite is the Russian Blue. It's adorable and one of the calmer cats on this list. Hyper cats can be quite a handful. It's also not too noisy. Meowing can be cute but constant meowing can be annoying in my opinion. My next favorite would be the Siberian cat. It's also quite cute. Make sure when picking a cat that it's personality will fit well into your lifestyle. Always do your research friends! ❤ Thanks for checking out my video ★Sources for Information about Breeds http://www.animalplanet.com/ http://www.petmd.com/ https://www.purina.com http://www.petguide.com/ ★ Music Rollanddrop Jingle Punks (Youtube Free Music) Italian Afternoon by Twin Musicom is licensed under a Creative Commons Attribution license (https://creativecommons.org/licenses/by/4.0/) Artist: http://www.twinmusicom.org/ ★ Images from: https://pixabay.com/ Licensed under a Creative Commons CC0 1.0 Universal (CC0 1.0) Public Domain Dedication (https://creativecommons.org/publicdom...) https://commons.wikimedia.org Some images created by me ★ Social Twitter https://twitter.com/Secret_Cupcake Facebook https://www.facebook.com/secretcupcake1/ ★ My Shop Etsy https://ivoryrosecrafts.etsy.com Feel free to check out my shop I sell cute handmade earrings and bracelets.

Cat Allergies?, Try this Cat allergies in people are caused by a reaction to allergens produced cats most often when they lick their fur. Symptoms of an allergic reaction to cats include swollen, red, itchy, watery eyes; nasal congestion, itchy nose, sneezing, chronic sore throat or itchy throat, coughing, wheezing, asthma, hay fever, hives or rash on the face or chest, or itchy skin. Besides people taking allergy medications or allergy vaccinations and giving your cat a cat bath, sometimes in certain cases supplements and vitamins can help minimize a person's reaction to the dander from cats. Two main vitamins for cat allergies are vitamin C and vitamin D. Btw "Putin the Cat" is very likely an Blue Abyssinian cat and not a Russian Blue. I got him at Judy's Pet Rescue in Florida. His marking are very much like the Blue Abyssinian cat. Btw both Abyssinian cats and Russian Blue cats are considered more non-allergenic cats than most cats. Abyssinian cats are popular in the USA and are easier to find. They are also a very dog-like cat. "Putin the Cat" is very loyal and dog-like and that is actually a strong trait in the Abyssinian cat.

Support me on patreon! http://www.patreon.com/wasabiroots All cats produce an allergen from their skin or saliva (not hair) but some produces less allergens than others. Thus the word "hypo" which means "less than" in the word hypoallergenic. Before choosing a hypoallergenic cat or dog as stated from the internet you need to be exposed to them in person because different people have different sensitivities to different cats. But here are the cat breeds that are known to be hypoallergenic: 7. Balinese 6. Russian Blue 5. Bengal 4. Ocicat 3. Siberian 2. LaPerm 1. Javanese

Allergy season can be hard on our feline friends. Pollen, dust, mold, and other common allergens can be tough to handle for both cats and homeowners. The best treatment for feline allergies is simply to avoid all points of contact between your pet and the causes of their allergies. You may need to keep a watchful eye on pollen counts in your city and be especially mindful about tracking pollens into your house. If your cat escapes for a stroll through the neighborhood, you may want to rinse off any pollen they may have trapped in their fur. If itching and inflammation is very bad this season, you may want to consider changes in diet alongside medications like antihistamines, cyclosporine or corticosteroids. The Siberian cat hails from Russia, and is one of the cat breeds that are considered to be a good choice for allergy sufferers, as they produce less of the Fel D1 protein that is a common allergenic trigger in people who are susceptible to it. The Siberian cat is generally considered to be a sturdy, chunkily built cat, with females on average weighing 8-12lb and males up to an average of 17lb and sometimes significantly more.

How to Deal With Cat Allergies - Cat 101 - as part of the expert series by GeoBeats. Hello. My name is Dr. Carolyn Quagliata. I am the owner and founder of City Pet Doctor, New York City's premiere house call vet service. The way you will know if you are allergic to your cat is that you will have runny nose, itchy eyes, scratchy throat, excess sneezing, and in some cases symptoms of asthma. It is very heartbreaking when you realize that your allergic to your cat or if you want to get a cat, and you realize that you are allergic. But the good thing, is that most people's symptoms are mild to moderate, and they can be controlled enough where you can live harmoniously with your cat. The first thing, there is definitely a lot of good medications out there that you can take that will help decrease the symptoms and there are also things that you can do in the environment in your home that will help decrease your symptoms. The main thing to understand is that the allergen is actually in the cat's saliva. It is called, dander. And when a cat grooms themselves the dander actually aerosolizes and you breathe it or it touches your skin and that is what causes the allergic reaction. So if you use a hepa filter on a regular basis. If you wipe down your cat with safe wipes to help decrease the amount of dander. That helps. And then the last thing is to keep the cats out of the bedroom so that the allergic person has a safe haven. So if you follow these steps a lot of times you can control your symptoms enough to be able to live harmoniously with your cat.

Male cat Mikhail Babuskin the Explorer.. Cutie-pie ;-) Hypoallergenic qualities of the Siberian coat have been noted and commented on for almost ten years. While there is little scientific evidence, breeders and pet owners claim that Siberians can be safe for many allergy sufferers. Since females of all feline breeds produce lower levels of Fel d1, breeders often suggest that allergic families adopt female cats. Allergy sufferers are advised to check their reactivity directly with the parent cats from whom they plan to adopt a kitten. Many people believe that the breed produces less Fel d1, the primary allergen present on cats. In 1999, Indoor Biotechnologies tested the fur of four cats for Fel d 1; a mixed breed, two Siberians, and an Abyssinian. The results showed the Siberian and Abyssinian cat fur as having lower Fel d 1 levels than the mixed breed cat. Indoor Biotechnologies cautions that the Siberian levels were still high, and that the mixed breed sample was "exceptionally high." Indoor Biotechnologies warns against using these results to make decisions of pet ownership...

Bengal Cats 101 Facts and Information - Animal Facts The Bengal is a domestic cat breed developed to look like exotic jungle cats such as leopards, ocelots, margays and clouded leopards. Bengal cats were developed by selective breeding from hybrids of the Asian leopard cat (ALC), Prionailurus bengalensis bengalensis, with domestic cat, backcrossed to domestic cats, with the goal of creating a confident, healthy, and friendly cat with a highly contrasted and vividly marked coat. The name "Bengal cat" was derived from the taxonomic name of the Asian leopard cat (P. b. bengalensis). They have a "wild" appearance with large spots/rosettes/arrowheads, and a light/white belly, and a body structure reminiscent of the ALC.[Once separated by at least four generations from the original ALC × domestic cat crossing, the breed's temperament resembles that of a domestic cat. Bengal cats are generally a bright orange to light brown color, although pale or off-white "snow" Bengals also exist, and are popular among owners.
