Treat and Stop Acid Reflux with Natural Medicine - Dr. Patti Kim, ND

04:57
Low stomach acid causes most Acid Reflux symptoms, according to Dr. Patti Kim, ND (Naturopathic Doctor). In this video interview, Dr. Kim discusses: 1) The symptoms of Acid Reflux, including burning, heat or pain sensation in chest and/or throat area, regurgitation, belching due to the sphincter being weakened, feeling full sooner than normal, chronic sore throats or laryngitis. 2) The conventional treatment for Acid Reflux, including calcium carbonate antacids such as Tums, Maalox, Mylanta; or proton pump inhibitors such as Prilosec, Nexium, Prevacid and Protonix. 3) That neutralizing stomach acid or stopping stomach acid production with artificial drugs can be harmful to the body because of the numerous side effects associated with the drugs, and that this type of conventional symptom treatment does not treat the root cause. 4) That stress is a primary cause of lowering stomach acid. 5) That stomach acids leak into the esophagus because of a weak sphincter (often due to stress). 6) Factors that influence acid reflux: poor nutrition, foods that cause inflammation, eating spicy foods and alcohol. 7) Natural Medicine treatment of acid reflux includes: stomach pH may be tested; goal is to raise stomach acid (or lower if too high) through dietary changes, exercise, herbs, nutritional supplements, digestive supplements and Homeopathic remedies. 8) Especially important is removal of processed foods and eating whole, organic foods. 9) Dr. Kim has a great success rate of stopping acid reflux: most of her patients are symptom free within a week. Proton Pump Inhibitors – Nexium and Prilosec Side Effects | Saunders & Walker P.A.

01:14
Proton Pump Inhibitor Flaws Spurring Litigation Millions of Americans take proton pump inhibitors like Nexium and Prilosec for gastric distress, but the solution may be worse than the problem. Proton pump inhibitors alleviate problems like acid reflux and heartburn by reducing the amount of stomach acid produced. A growing body of research suggests that long-term use of these drugs can cause major health problems. Proton pump inhibitor side effects can include serious kidney damage and kidney failure. A growing number of lawsuits are challenging big drug companies on this matter, arguing that the companies have downplayed the very serious long-term effects of these drugs. People seeking relief from common complaints like heartburn and gastric reflux shouldn’t have to run the risk of serious kidney damage, and drug companies should be upfront about the risks these drugs pose. If you’re among the 15 million Americans who regularly take PPI drugs, and you’ve experienced side effects from these medications, you may be able to recover compensation in a court of law. Reach out to Saunders & Walker P.A. today for a consultation concerning proton pump inhibitor drugs and their impact on your health. Getting Off Proton Pump Inhibitors (PPIs)

03:49
Unless you must absolutely be on a proton pump inhibitor, it's best not to be on it - especially if you have gastroparesis like I do. Unfortunately, once you're on it, getting off them is hard because your body is used to the resistance they give. This equals rebound pain that can be worse than the original problem. Here is how I got off lansoprazole. Thanks for watching.

OMEZ D Capsule Uses ,Composition,Price ,Dosage ,How To Use & Review in Hindi OMEZ DSR Capsule

01:51
OMEZ D Capsule Uses ,Composition,Price ,Dosage ,How To Use & Review in Hindi OMEZ DSR Capsule Reflux Oesophagitis OMEPRAZOLE is used to treat the symptoms of reflux oesophagitis or reflux disease in adults and in children. This can be caused by "washing back" (reflux) of food and acid from the stomach into the food pipe (oesophagus). Reflux can cause a burning sensation in the chest rising up to the throat, also known as heartburn, which usually occurs after eating or at night and which worsens when bending over. OMEPRAZOLEis also used to help stop reflux oesophagitis coming back or relapsing. Acid-Related Dyspepsia OMEPRAZOLE is used to treat acid-related dyspepsia. Dyspepsia is an uncomfortable feeling in the stomach or belching after eating. It is also known as indigestion. Peptic Ulcers OMEPRAZOLE is used to treat peptic ulcers. Depending on the position of the ulcer it is called a gastric or duodenal ulcer. A gastric ulcer occurs in the stomach. A duodenal ulcer occurs in the duodenum which is the tube leading out from the stomach. These ulcers can be caused by too much acid being made in the stomach. They can cause pain and discomfort (indigestion) which is felt between the naval and the breast bone. OMEPRAZOLEis also used to help stop gastric or duodenal ulcers coming back. Peptic Ulcers Associated with Helicobacter pylori Infection Most people who have a peptic ulcer also have a bacteria called Helicobacter pylori in their stomach. When OMEPRAZOLEis taken with antibiotics, they will kill Helicobacter pylori and let your peptic ulcer heal. When OMEPRAZOLEis taken together with two antibiotics, they are more effective than taken one or two at a time. It is possible that the antibiotics may not always kill Helicobacter pylori. You may need furthertreatment. Peptic Ulcers Associated with Non-steroidal Anti-Inflammatory Drugs (NSAIDs) Some peptic ulcers are caused by taking medicines called non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs. These medicines are commonly taken to relieve pain, swelling and other symptoms of inflammation, including arthritis. OMEPRAZOLE is also used to heal and prevent ulcers associated with NSAIDs. Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome OMEPRAZOLE is also used to treat a rare condition called Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, where the stomach produces large amounts of acid, much more than in ulcers or reflux disease. OMEPRAZOLEis a type of medicine called a proton-pump inhibitor. It works by decreasing the amount of acid made by the stomach, to give relief of symptoms and allow healing to take place. This does not stop food being digested in the normal way. Your doctor will have explained why you are being treated with OMEPRAZOLE and told you what dose to take. Follow all instructions given to you by your doctor carefully. Your doctor may prescribe this medicine for another use. Ask your doctor if you want more information. The name of your medicine is Domperidone. This belongs to a group of medicines called ‘dopamine antagonists’. Domperidone works by helping to move food faster through your food pipe (oesophagus), stomach and gut. This is so that it does not stay in the same place for too long. It also helps stop food flowing the wrong way back up your food pipe. Domperidone can be used for the following: Adults •To stop or prevent you feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting) •To stop or prevent the feeling of fullness during or shortly after a meal •To treat stomach discomfort, or heartburn caused by the flow of the stomach contents back into your food pipe Children •To stop or prevent children feeling sick (nausea) or being sick (vomiting)

Nexium: Is the Purple Pill Shutting Your Kidneys Down? - Should You Be Taking It? - The Ring Of Fire

09:03
Millions of Americans take a proton pump inhibitor everyday in the form of Nexium and Prilosec, but what most of these people don’t know is that these drugs come with some dangerous side effects. America’s Lawyer, Mike Papantonio, talks about these side effects with attorney Neil Overholtz. Find out more about the Nexium litigation at https://www.levinlaw.com/prilosec-nexium-lawsuit-lawyer-side-effects-recall-help and http://drugsafetynews.com/nexium/ An estimated 15 million Americans are currently taking drugs like Nexium which work to control heartburn, indigestion, and acid reflux. Unfortunately, those who turn to Nexium and other Proton-pump inhibitors will need to proceed much more cautiously as studies have confirmed that taking these drugs increase the chance of kidney problems - and even kidney failure - by as much as fifty percent. Proton-pump inhibitors are a class of drugs which include Nexium, Prilosec, and Prevacid which work by blocking the secretion of acid into the stomach. These extremely common medications are sold both by prescription and over-the-counter. The recent discovery of this increased risk of chronic kidney disease and even failure means that much more care must be taken in determining if a person should be popping the purple pill. The issue with Nexium and other drugs in its class is that since their creation in the 1980s, they were considered to be very safe, with no real side effects. This led to the popularity of the drug and a much more lax attitude about taking large doses and prescribing it to any and all patients with reflux issues. It is very possible that these drugs, prescribed and taken in such massive numbers, are being over-prescribed. Studies have suggested that as many as 75 percent of those who take proton-pump inhibitors need not do so. Spread the word! Omeprazole is also used to treat Zollinger-Ellison syndrome, a condition where the stomach produces too much acid. Omeprazole is also used to treat dyspepsia, a condition that causes sour stomach, belching, heart burn, or indigestion. The Dangerous Side Effects of Heartburn Drugs

02:31
Proton pump inhibitors are very common prescription medications given to people with heartburn and acid reflux disease. You may know them as Nexium, Prevacid, or Prilosec, or by another familiar brand name. They work by blocking acid buildup in the stomach But they have also been found to limit the absorption of minerals your body needs – that’s a serious PPI side-effect. But even more seriously, it can result in acute kidney injury or interstitial nephritis, chronic kidney disease, or even kidney failure, requiring dialysis treatment or a kidney transplant. These Proton Pump Inhibitors side effects have also been linked to heart attack and bone fractures. Proton-pump inhibitors are marketed as safe and effective. But now, it appears that the drug makers may not have adequately warned the public about known side effects of acid reflux drugs. It’s possible that such warnings to both patients and doctors might have helped them to choose to take action that would have avoided serious injury. If you or a loved one developed any of these conditions after taking a proton pump inhibitor heartburn medication, you should talk with a Proton Pump Inhibitor lawyer. Too often drug manufacturers put making profit over people. These heart burn drug makers have a duty to provide safe products. If there are risks of harm associated with their products, they also must provide adequate warnings. If they fail to do this, they should be held responsible for injuries that it causes. These PPI makers don’t have to live with the consequences of failing to warn of risks they knew or should have known from. Consequences that the victims and their families have to live with every single day. At Greg Jones Law we want to hold PPI companies responsible to get you or your loved one paid for your medical expenses, lost wages, pain and suffering and for any permanent disability you or a loved one may suffer due to these drugs. At Greg Jones Law, we have a proven track record of helping victims of dangerous drugs and medical devices. Contact Greg Jones Law today for a free, no obligation consultation. We don’t need any money upfront and there is no legal fees unless you get paid. In other words, if you don’t get paid, we don’t get paid. So if you or a loved one has suffered Prevacid side effects, Nexium side effects or Prilosec side effects, such as kidney failure or if you have symptoms of kidney failure, call us or fill out the form on the webpage. At Greg Jones Law, we’re here to help.
