Hello teachers! Love from India😊💐. Whenever there is rain outside I would like to stay at home and prepare some indian snacks like flitters and ginger tea..And enjoy it with my family members....
Have you ever tried any indian snacks? You must they are toothsome😊
I like rain in any case because it's mercy from our God , in other side I like the that idom ( to save it for a rainy day ) that we have a samiller one idom say (keep your white money for your black day ) . Mr mohammed from Yemen.
Thanks for commenting Ioana! That's a great pronunciation question that many learners have. Hmm...perhaps we should do a lesson about it. 😉 As for how to pronounce "can't," there's definitely a distinction between American pronunciation and British pronunciation. You can listen to both pronunciations here: https://www.collinsdictionary.com/dictionary/english/cant 👍 For a more detailed explanation, I'd recommend this lesson: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XM3-zwXuHMM She does a good job explaining some of the pronunciation nuances. 😃
Thanks Sunny! We appreciate your comment. We're glad that it helps to put the expression in quotes and perhaps gives a bit more context. Hopefully, it gives everyone a little more insight as to how and when these expressions are used. Have a wonderful day! 😃
Thanks so much Francisco! Welcome to our community of learners. We hope you learned some new and useful rainy expressions. 👍 On a side note, we really would like to travel to your country some day. We've heard so many wonderful things about Vietnam. 😃
