Borderlands 2 goty edition with all the dlc at 9.99 Euros its a fantastic game which if you like Zelda botw you'll probably like that pokes fun at a lot of stuff unfortunately steam sales are over now and the package is now 43 or so Euros
DOOM was maybe the best game ive played in the last 2 years. it was truly good. i beat it 3 times and i literally never play shooters. i dont own COD, battlefield, or any of the like, but a friend bought it for me and i had one goddamn good time. only other contender was the witcher 3, which absolutely obliterated my expectations. the dlcs too were arguably better than the main story
Great video, many thanks for the detailed descriptions. Having played fallout 3&4 and skyrim, i would advise against them. The major plus you mentioned in your video was how many hours you put into F4. Id argue the game is alot like an MMO or Destiny: empty calories. Following bethesda tradition the main story and the vast majority of characters are uninteresting and the gameplay loop you follow during those hundreds of hours of killing looting and selling will leave you feeling like you wasted your (massive amount) of time.
Oooh some of mine
Witcher 3 GOTY
Metro redux bundle
Civ 5 and dlc
Eu4 and some dlc
Fallout new Vegas
GTA 5 (its good I don’t really like those games)
Dark souls 3
Rainbow six siege
Far cry 3 and/or 4
Have fun and rip your wallets!
You get a sub due to pointing out Dishonored for $2.50, I haven't played it but by going by the reviews on steam, metacritic and you saying it's better than the second one I thought why the hell not! (Had $3.79 left)
Other good games on a budget.
Dust: An Elysian Tail $3.74
Call of Juarez® Gunslinger $4.23
Hyper Light Drifter $9.99
This list is awesome! And it's the one that's likely going to push me into my last (or at least penultimate (great word ;) )) purchase of the sale, one of the two that I can afford on this list that I don't already have (the other being Domina)... PLANET COASTER! That looks really good since I was all into the park management games; the last one I played for a long time was RollerCoaster Tycoon 3, which I have over on GOG actually. So Planet Coaster is really good, eh? I will sure consider it seriously! Thank you for posting this :)
wait wait wait... Fallout 4 released in 2015? Holy shit. I bought it at launch, played it some, and due to time reasons decided to take a short break. In my mind i only stopped playing for a short while, but it's been 2 YEARS!? WHAT HAPPENED
I'm really enjoying Escape From Tarkov and They Are Billions. I'm playing those two almost exclusively. 2017 has been a great year for video games, really. But I'm hoping 2018 will be even better with the release of Mount and Blade: Bannerlord. If I had to pick game of the year for 2017 it would probably be Divinity 2.
civ 5 is much better due to it being "complete". Civ 6 is still being updated, expansions and dlc's still being released so not as polished as civ 5. Get the civ 5 bundle with all the dlc's and expansions and you'll have a blast especially with all the mods you can add in when you get bored with the vanilla gameplay.
Rocket League is going for $11.99 or £8.99 right now. I've been able to put in a good 950 hours into it, and personally think it's a great deal for the moment. I'd highly suggest checking that one out if you need some more ideas
Another good, really cheap one I think is Geometry Dash, going for $0.99 or £0.69. Sort of a simple one, but if you like challenging and / or music-based games, you'll find yourself sucked into this one for sure.
I picked up Astroneer. It's amazing and refreshing, considering the fact that it's not released yet. I can't wait to see what it's going to look like when it's finished. I have to admit that it's a stuttering a bit here and there (when I land on another planet or when I place theters) but I'm sure the developers are going to fix it soon. (I have a Ryzen 5 1600 overcklocked to 3.8Ghz paired with 8Gb of HyperX Ram at 2400Mhz and a Gtx 1060 6Gb version)
