There has been a lot of questions as to why we didn't include many critically acclaimed and universally loved games from 2015 and older. We're sorry we forgot to mention that this video only included games from the last 3 year (2015-2018). We're changing the title now. We apologize.
Unfortunately, the games you mentioned didn't make it to the list.
Assasin's Creed Origins has a Playscore of 8.42. Far Cry 5 has a Playscore of 7.43. Wolfenstein also has a Playscore of 7.43. Tom Clancy's Ghost Recon: Wildlands has a Playscore of 7.32.

the title of the video was probably wrong? It should be games inspired by old games? or retro games, something like that?
Or much better " GAMES THAT I PLAYED FROM 2015-2018??". No assassins creed, Resident Evil, GTA or Farcry and Fallout??? Well this is your review, respect that, but still the title is misleading or inaccurate..
Seeing Ori and the Blind Forest along with Hollow Knight at 4 & 13 made me so happy I could tear up. Those two games personally are my most favorite games/best games I have ever played. So glad they're getting the recognition they deserve. Ori and the Blind Forest was already getting it. But Hollow Knight is recent and that makes me happy
I think the rating system is a little flawed. I mean, games that have less reviews are bound to get higher scores on your system than ones that have 1000's of reviews and so there really should be review limit for games to make this review. I don't know were you take the reviews from but Celeste only has 111 reviews and a score of 6.7 on Metacritic user reviews. If this had a 1000 reviews you'd have to say that this would be even lower and so I don't see how it features so high on your list
I apologise as I didn't mean for this to come across as overly negative but more as constructive criticism. I really like the scoring system and I think it was for me to understand it better, which I would say you've given a very detailed explanation and that's very much appreciated :) I really like your site and it's great you took the time to reply and explain
Hi Davey. You forward a valid concern that we've continually worked since we started the channel. Let me preface by stating that it's impossible to give an accurate rating for any game. What can be done is give a good indicator of the reception of the game, which the playscore aims to be. The amount of reviews do have some effects on the total score. So what we did to minimize this is add a normalization (calculated per platform) using Bayesian Estimator on both critic and gamer reviews. This normalization step requires a minimum number (200 user ratings and 3 critics for PC). As for sources, for critics we take the top, popular ones from around the world (IGN, Gamespot, Jeuxvideo, 3DJuegos, etc.) and for gamers, it's mostly just the official stores (Steam, Amazon, etc.). The requirement for each platform will change as we gather from more sources (this takes a lot of time as all reviews are manually curated by us.)
Finally, the playscore is recalculated every 60 minutes as new reviews (gamers or critics) are added into our database. By the way, you can take a look at the details of Celeste at https://whatoplay.com/pc/celeste/
