Thanks for sharing your journey. And how you get your self free even if you only have yourself. Such a strong person. Please share more of the reason you risked the parking. A time lapse would have been the dessert 🍮 in the desert. 🌵 Wish you the best! Peaceful adventures
Sometimes the word "men and dude" are misleading.
If you find some med sized driftwood limbs you can lay them crosswise in front of the front of the tire, and it will crawl right out. Better percentage of the time anyway. Good Job!
I had a 77 Grand Prix, my carberater was messed up, but I still drove it, my coworker and I went to the gas station, for lunch break, so I thought I would get gas while I was there, when I went to start the car it wouldn't start, two men were in a garbage truck and watching us, they shook their heads like dumb young blonde, two of those things were right, so they left, I got out opened the hood, stuck a screwdriver in the carberater to open it up, started the car shut the hood took off and caught up to the garbage truck, because I was on a mission, passed them up, cut them off.
Good job. But next time also clear in front of the front tires. You had a few inches of sand in front of one of them. Having to push the fronts through or up onto that sand adds to the work the rears must do to move forward ......... and more likely to spin than move forward.

(Sorry I had to pause to say)
At 7:56 I just know you must have been a "hootin and hollerin" and ready to do a victory lap! It's a great feeling when we get stuff done ourselves. I had to do this same thing just two weeks ago but in a truck and in some sticky Louisiana mud!
I've really enjoyed your videos and envy BUT admire the heck out of you! I've wanted to do this same thing all my life. I'm a single mom...have to wait a little longer as my "caboose" is still in school.
Let me tell you, I'd be doing the same thing and you prove very well it can be done!
Happy travels 😊
Great job, I hope if that happens to me that I can get myself out too. Lots of people don't want to be bothered with helping someone. I always wonder what they expect if they find themselves in a difficult situation. The world sure has changed since I was growing up.
how did you film The last part because I would not have come back to get that camera I would have left and I don't know how I would have sold the last part LOL good thing those boys in their father weren't there to steal your camera they sound likeSalt of the Earth types....not!
One tip on getting unstuck. Keep wood around to use to put under a jack in soft ground. Get a floor jack (way easier to use) and jack it up and fill in under the stuck tire instead of trying to dig it out. It's easier to jack then dig. It's hard to unstuck your self the dig yourself out way because the weight distribution is off. With the vehicle jacked up and level you have better weight distribution.
...the help...not... It very well may have been that they were heading somewhere with a timeline conflict. ~~I thought it was awesome the Dad stopped to explain the fix and moreso your doing it!!!! :) ✨✨✨✨STAY WELL!✨✨✨✨
GOOD FOR YOU! VERY SMART!! GOOD COOMON SENSE!!! I also much prefer to do everything on my own as much as possible! One winter in Cleveland back in my twenties we were having an intense blizzard... I left for work at 5:30am when I started at 7:30 and only normally took 30 mins to get there...I helped get two vehicles on my way in unstuck and was still an hour early...I remember a guy I dated briefly had a big truck...I was driving a small car... We went somewhere in his truck and he ended up stuck in mud..it was a weird happenstance b/c he wasn't showing off....after him trying and retrying and ...I asked to be given a chance at it...worked right away:)....maybe he was trying too hard...AWESOME SHOWING US!!!!!!! SELF RELIANCE IS PRICELESS!!!!!✨✨✨✨STAY WELL!✨✨✨✨
😁😂 you are so funny girl. I love watching your videos. I love to travel so I'm researching ways to do so and by what means, and came across your video. Happy travels!! HMU on Instagram, Girlsgottatravel87😊
It's not only kind of funny it's kind of sad that man is a pathetic human being and his kids are worthless if my dad wouldn't have told me me and my brothers would have went and helped push you out a grown father and three teenage boys could easily push you from behind and you could just drive out his wife should also be ashamed of them maybe this is why they live in a van or maybe they're just angry cuz they live in a van but either way they are not good people
i camped in van a few years ago and got really stuck in the sand, spent the night there. the next morning, still stuck, when a man came by with a little pick up and got me out,BUT HERES THE KEY HE TOLD ME TO LET A LOT OF AIR OUT OF THE REAR TIRES AND WITH JUST A LITTLE HELP FROM HIM, I DROVE RIGHT OUT, IT WORKED GREAT AND HE HAD AN AIR COMPRESSOR IN HIS TRUCK TO PUMP UP THE TIRES LATER.
WOW, you were in one of my favorite lakes near Hurricane, Utah. I use to live there, in Hurricane. I raised my children in that little town. It was the best, until it got noticed and then the huge influx of people. We started out with 1 4 way stop, then we got one light up state street, which stayed like that for a while. Now, it's a thriving little metropolis. My kiddo's are all grown and over 40 now and I live in a little rural area (farming) in upper state Utah. I love my state! It's so beautiful!
Adult male + 3 teenage boys and they left a lone woman to her own devices, to add insult to injury, gave advice on how said woman should do it herself...? Did i miss something ? Straight a$$hole genetics. I have a problem with idiots wasting my good oxygen. Do us all a favor and stop breathing, we need the air to assist damsels-in-distress after you tactfully tell her to go fuck herself ! Those teenage boys have been done a diservice in life, likely leading to a messy divorce in adulthood.
I grew up on a hill in NJ. There was a fuel oil company down the block and the trucks would get stuck trying to get up the grade in front of my house when it had snowed. You don't push an oil truck. You find traction by digging out in front and behind and putting down something like cardboard or gravel in front of the wheels. After we freed the wheels they had to back down the street and around the corner to get a running start to make it all the way up, and they always did after some trial and error.
Maybe you should reconsider the huge number of times you have told us not to invade your personal space unless you are at a public event. You dont get to pick and choose when you want other people to offer assistance, dumbhead.
WOW we were there last year on that beach. We were on a road trip hiking Bruce, Grand and Zion for 10 days from the UK. It was July and the beach was packed with campers. It was so beautiful but very busy. Looked better the time of year you were there. Loving your RV life. Howie (UK)
Years ago I had a flat tire in one of my client's parking lots. I was dressed for a business meeting. I called fiancé and he began to tell me how to change my tire. I FAKED a disconnected call and called my Dad. There was a tow truck there within 15 minutes and they changed my tire for me. I asked how much I owned the driver and he told me that my Dad had taken care of it. She Men this is why we always call our Dad's♥
