Its interesting that you mention in this video that a lot of people are watching and getting to see your travels through your eyes can't travel cuz they're taking care of a sick person or elderly person or they can't retire yet. This is exactly my situation; I am caring for my 91 year-old elderly Father so i can't do that type of travel that you're done because I have to stay near home for him. I used to hike a lot up until about a year ago and haven't been able to schedule any hikes since caring for my elderly father. so I really like watching your video when it includes a hike.
You just don't know how it makes my heart feel watching your dog he is the spitting image of my dog that I had that had a sad ending. I didn't get another Dog for 20 years. But my heart melts when I watch Capone. There clones.
Have fun and take care of Capone.
Such a beautiful hike! I am one of those peeps who appreciates you sharing so many details of the places you visit. I live in Australia and will probably never be able to afford to travel to North America so I love seeing it through your eyes. 😊 Not sure about the screeching noises though! We have some nasty snakes her in Oz but otherwise we don’t have to worry about anything wanting to eat us in the bush!
Welcome to Canada and BC Carolyn! <3
I Love watching your videos and it always amazes me how you find the free spots where ever you go. I have been watching your videos from your beginning and you are an inspiration. I live in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. If you are ever on the island you have a place to stay at my house. <3 Looking forward to your journey north. Hope to meet you one day and also hoping to finally get away this fall.
Bravo! Beautiful! The scenery also. Lol!
Don't forget your in Grizzly country now. I'm a newbie, from the Bay area, just prepping to embark on my nomadic adventures this Autumn. Hope our paths cross, perhaps Quartzite (RTR). Love the ocean & mountains, you've got the best of both. Be happy, be safe to you two.
This video has just lit me on fire! I have a spinal cord injury so at the moment this hike would be impossible. But I just to need to work every day of my life to get here!! This hike is now my dream! You faced scary with this calm, amazing level headedness! 👏👏 My Grandmother RV'd to Alaska! Thanks for taking us along with you! 🙂
I like how you go to the grocery stores and compare prices and then show us around the town with a little history. I am really enjoying "going" on the journey to Alaska with you. Thanks for the nice video and information,
BC does have it's beauty spots and looks like you found one! Capone needs to be with you! Cedar baby, cedar. :) So glad you are sharing this trip, it's been years since I have been off Vancouver Island. Enjoy Carolyn! You might want to have bells with you.
Carolyn I hate to say it, but what would happen if you fell and broke a leg. I did really enjoyed your video but i will have to say you have me worried doing these trails by your self. I did not see a soul around you.
You have only touched on the beauty that is British Columbia - on your way back down come through Jasper, Banff and Kootenay national parks. If you are up for some great hikes take a look at Top of the World Provincial Park - and if you are really brave Fisher Peak. I am sure we could find you a sitter for Capone for the day.
Hello Carolyn & Capone !! It's such a pleasure "traveling" with you. Beautiful scenery, fantastic views, & the small Canadian towns !! Canada is beautiful !! Thank You !! Be Happy, Be Free, Be Kind !! :-)
I'm one of those whose in a holding pattern...waiting for my turn to hit the road. In the meantime, watching you and others like you helps me thru the tough days, the longing to get out there.... thank you for all the places you've shown us along the way... it really does help 😏❤✌ be Safe Out There!
Thanks for sharing . I enjoy the video and perky banter you have. At 68, I plan to sell my house this summer and grab a Class C to make another life-journey myself. Just me and my old Border collie. Sounded like Neil Young on the end of this video. He's Canadian, if you did not know…
If u haven't heard if Mike Wendland he is a YouTuber , promotes Roadtrek however very knowledgeable and had an interview with a bear expert appx 1 yr ago and he talked a lot about bear safety and the proper use of bear spray and he did recommend carrying 2 of them. Anyway, u could look him up and find the interview. I always like to get ideas & feel like I can always learn from others so I thought I'd share. Thank u for sharing for us who aren't able to travel yet! 👍💓
Thank you for letting us see so many beautiful places that we would never be able to see other wise. Just stay safe, at times I get scared when you are out there alone on high areas, just don't fall. Be safe please.
Pass this along...proof---universal news media..you should be witness to this// firsthand....SOON..been an observation for alot of people..stay safe,..and carry your.. strength..my strength..Nice channel..more..to come is a gift.

I believe way back I texted you at you're other email, it's been awhile😊 don't let the bad get you down! I was a professional athlete in sports, and had many bad thing's, and situations come my way. Their not all friendlies out there! Please be careful, bye for now friend😊👍😃🙏, and God bless you!!! And Capone
Carolyn, I have heard Screech Owls before and that didn't sound like the ones I have heard, but I couldn't hear it very well, and maybe they sound different from down in the south. You be careful and safe.
