Its interesting that you mention in this video that a lot of people are watching and getting to see your travels through your eyes can't travel cuz they're taking care of a sick person or elderly person or they can't retire yet. This is exactly my situation; I am caring for my 91 year-old elderly Father so i can't do that type of travel that you're done because I have to stay near home for him. I used to hike a lot up until about a year ago and haven't been able to schedule any hikes since caring for my elderly father. so I really like watching your video when it includes a hike.

Thanks for sharing the beautiful views! If you don't have trecking polls you should consider getting some. They help so much going up and down the hills.

I'm sure I was smiling throughout this video. It was so relaxing just to sit back and take it all in. Absatootly breathtaking! And finding 'home' at the end with puppy waiting was precious. 💚

Such a beautiful hike! I am one of those peeps who appreciates you sharing so many details of the places you visit. I live in Australia and will probably never be able to afford to travel to North America so I love seeing it through your eyes. 😊 Not sure about the screeching noises though! We have some nasty snakes her in Oz but otherwise we don’t have to worry about anything wanting to eat us in the bush!

So beautiful! Thanks for showing us this great nature–scenery. Wish you and Capone the best, Greeting from Germany.

Welcome to Canada and BC Carolyn! <3 I Love watching your videos and it always amazes me how you find the free spots where ever you go. I have been watching your videos from your beginning and you are an inspiration. I live in Nanaimo on Vancouver Island. If you are ever on the island you have a place to stay at my house. <3 Looking forward to your journey north. Hope to meet you one day and also hoping to finally get away this fall.

Beautiful scenery! I think that screeching sounded like a fox. I hope it wasn't injured, or caught in a trap. Glad your hike was safe and enjoyable.

Carolyn I hate to say it, but what would happen if you fell and broke a leg. I did really enjoyed your video but i will have to say you have me worried doing these trails by your self. I did not see a soul around you.
Aitherious (1 month ago)
You have only touched on the beauty that is British Columbia - on your way back down come through Jasper, Banff and Kootenay national parks. If you are up for some great hikes take a look at Top of the World Provincial Park - and if you are really brave Fisher Peak. I am sure we could find you a sitter for Capone for the day.

If u haven't heard if Mike Wendland he is a YouTuber , promotes Roadtrek however very knowledgeable and had an interview with a bear expert appx 1 yr ago and he talked a lot about bear safety and the proper use of bear spray and he did recommend carrying 2 of them. Anyway, u could look him up and find the interview. I always like to get ideas & feel like I can always learn from others so I thought I'd share. Thank u for sharing for us who aren't able to travel yet! 👍💓

Not saying you don't know how to use if it came across that way. Just want u and Capone to have a safe and happy trip😉

Carolyn, I have heard Screech Owls before and that didn't sound like the ones I have heard, but I couldn't hear it very well, and maybe they sound different from down in the south. You be careful and safe.
