Look And Know The Benefits Of One Of The Richest And Most Delicious Fruits The Pacay, or Guaba The pacay, or guaba is a fruit that comes from a tree whose scientific name is Inga feuillei and which is a family of legumes. This is a fruit, or rather legume, little studied by science, but which has been and is widely used by the ancient aborigines. This is because the properties of guaba or pacay are really amazing. Although, many people prefer to consume the white and soft part of this legume, due to its sweet taste, in reality its seeds have a greater number of nutritional properties. Among the botanical characteristics of the pacay or guaba, it can be mentioned that this tree can reach up to 15 meters high. This tree produces dark green pods that serve to protect the pulp and edible seeds. The pulp has a texture similar to that of cotton and has a vanilla flavor. Usually, this tree is grown in the countries belonging to South and Central America. Being the department of Lambayeque, in Peru, where you can see many fruit fields of guaba. The white pulp that covers the seeds of this legume, is the most consumed part of this plant, as a sweet snack. However, many dont know that this pulp becomes less nutritious compared to its seeds.
