Two Florida police officers are facing scrutiny for a traffic stop where they pulled over a state attorney back in June. The entire incident was caught on the officers' body cameras. CBSN's Stephanie Sy has details.

Yea, the tags wouldnt come back because people in high government positions have special tags that dont show up in state databases (confidential tags). Its a security measure to keep them from being targeted. The cop was telling the truth. His mistake is he should not have pulled over the car if nothing illegal was going on. He probably thought the tag was fake. I dont think he would have been able to tell she was black from behind the car with tented windows, so yall need to stop with all that and give the benefit of the doubt instead of jumping straight to racism.
so what? racial profiling exists cuz it works
Blacks are violent and are criminals more often.
This is not controversial we all know it. All whites think this in their heart and all blacks know this in their heart.
He ran her tags, and her windows are dark???
Mame, you've just been PROFILED!!!!
When people are unjustly treated by police officers, I hope they sue the officers personally, and sue the State for positive changes to the laws to protect the public from abuse by the police!!
Officer just folded over with the quickness, his tone changed, became submissive, and tried to get out of there post haste. Am I the only one who feels this may have gone down differently if she wasn't Florida State Attorney, or had less melanin?
Why are people angry, they run a plate and saw something out of the ordinary, being dark windows, and did their job, they should get props, and when they realized their mistake, they were incredibly polite, if anything they did something right in terms of job etiquette
It baffles me how this video got so much attention because of how it was percieved as racist. It reached social media and the news. Yet when the attorney has spoken and said that the stop was legitimate NOTHING was mentioned about it. It was just written in an article. But race baiting gets high numbers, so what else was expected.
I LOVE body cams, shows who the REAL Racist are and what they do to others. These Officers were doing their JOBS,,and doing them WELL. SHE should be removed from the bench for her Racist, Anti-Police mindset
As you can tell her tint isn't dark. You can see from one side to another.
She was pulled over bc she was black.
Police don't run tags with every car that passes by nor bc they never seen a car before. It's Orlando FL busy & heavy with traffic.
They run tags when pulled over
As for her being removed from cases seems to be bigotry and racism going on.
Please reporter .....please inform me on the reasoning behind informing the mass about her career situation and what relevance it has towards the video that we just watched. Please do inform the math that they were at fault in the joke's on them LOL. They trying to cover up the cops stupidity.
They ran her tag it didn't come back to anything they stopped her it's called suspicion they do it the f****** people all the time it doesn't matter what f****** color you are now in St Louis you can drive around with expired temp tags for 2 years and the cops won't even look at you but you go outside of the city of St Louis into the suburbs and your tags got expired by one day and you'll get pulled over 3 times trying to get across town
They aren't facing anything. She isn't that important. They did nothing wrong and they didn't get into trouble. Sorry nothing to see here. Sorry for those hoping for something. I would have done a window tint test and cited her had the results came back unlawful.
Some of these comments roll me. They did absolutely nothing wrong. The vehicle was in fact unregistered, due to being a state vehicle with confidential plates. She has admitted they did nothing wrong. The end.
