At my free campsite in Daniel Boone National Forest near Somerset Kentucky, I suddenly get the strange feeling someone - or something is watching me. I also share my recipe for vegan tacos.

Carolyn, there are forest people now, a lot more than there used to be. Just like road nomads, but mostly with no income at all. You have good instincts, and Capone. But do carry your bear spray on your belt, just in case. Which reminds me, wasp spray is a great weapon and cost less than $10. That's cheap enough to target practice with.
I always love the Big Foot hopefuls. Don’t you think by now that somebody, somewhere would have tripped over a 9 or 10 pound turd ?
I have watched several of your vids Carolyn, not so sure you are situationally aware.
You might want to forget myths and worry more about our fellow humans that are a few cards short of a whole deck. You know, like some of the folks in Slab City ?
Look, throw in a small 12ga shotgun in your rv and continue with the good videos. You have a great doggie for warnings, very good move on your part.
Out on a limb here but your weird Cali-Berkeley education may not have prepared you for REAL life.
it might have been bigfoot carolyn, still becareful , theres accounts of people being kidnapped by the creature . my belief about the creature , is to many people have seen bigfoot and come forward with stories , they all cant be fakers . you take care on the highway .
Just a thought... in many southern states there is a Huge wild boar population. There are many Millions.. and the issue is getting worse. They can get SO big that they can even attack and kill you.
They often roam through the woods in groups (Sounders) but even an occasional lone boar can show up ... and ruin your day.
They will easily kill a dog.
Check out the areas you are staying in to see if they are an issue there.
Yup, Always follow your 'gut'... just don't always assume it's a human doing the watching. There are also packs of coyote, or feral ... or even PET dogs who will turn on you. Of course bear are well distributed. Carry Bear Spray.. on your belt. It works on both 2 & 4 footed creatures.
Trust me, I have spent hundreds of hours researching BF/Sasquatch and other unknown " cryptids", and I can without doubt tell you that they are real. Without going into detail here, just let me say that if your intuition is telling you you're being watched, you are. Listen to your intuition, it will not lead you astray. Please be safe!!!
i got the creeps hiking in arkansas last year, and also on back roads. since then i got my concealed carry license (kansas) and went to lake ouachita area last month and packing heat made me feel MUCH safer! and safer while camping as well.
Hi Carolyn, my question is: How do you protect yourself? How do you secure yourself when you sleep at night? It's great that you have your dog but unfortunately a perp can easily shoot your dog and then rape you. What advice can you give to us? Thanks for all of your information, each day I learn more and more just by watching your videos. Peace
Carolyn, wanted to tell u what I did to hopefully scare away wild animals when I had to walk 5 miles in the dark forest one time. I had a bag of aluminum cans I had found on a nearby roadway. Every now and then I would bang them with a stick. Lol don't know if it would really scare of a large wild animal, but it did make me feel better. It was very dark, and I was hearing things too lol. Love your videos🙋Take Care💕😸
There are one or two places that are isolated that just creep me out, and I'm not the type of person that gets creeped out. maybe he smells bears or wild boar. They have a strong smell. I used to have a Redbone Coonhound, he would sometimes howl at things off in the distance that he obviously couldn't see, but I knew he smelled. He never really bothered with deer. Another thing to consider is that Capone is picking up on your suspicious feelings. maybe you both were right. I've found that my gut is usually right, especially out in nature. Sometimes we even smell things subconsciously. Once I started paying more attention to my nose it wasn't so unconscious. My friend once told me he could smell deer in the woods. I thought he was full of crap. Then I noticed that I'd sometimes know deer were coming when I didn't see or hear them. Turned out my nose was telling me and I wasn't paying attention. Now I do LOL.
Call me but don't call me late to supper!! lol! Looks yummy ; ) I live here in Kentucky and at a young age we were always told don't go outside at night or the boogy man will get you and that stuck with me. The things that people do to keep you quite and scared. Up until about 8 years ago I was actively searching for bigfoot in Michigan, Ohio, Kentucky and Tennessee (Standing Stone Park) Capone may not have seen one but I would trust his senses and his habits. Bigfoot are NOT to fond of dogs and will try to kill them if given a chance. With him staying so close and not venturing out like he normally does is a sign that something was not quite right and your own feelings were telling you the same. I would love to know the area that you were at ........ hint hint ; ) Keep on Keeping on and traveling mercies upon you and Capone B. Darlene
If you believe in the possibility of Bigfoot being real then you should also believe in the possibility of the threat being real. To do one without the other is crazy. Always trust your instincts. Even when people tell you otherwise, just ignore then. It`s the only inbuilt survival mechanism you can trust. Chances are it wasn't any BF that was the threat either.
People are the worst.
Carolyn, just looking at your dog, his posture, ears, muscle tone in paws, alertness, I would make a strong guess there is nothing 'out'there' for either of you to be afraid of.
The other video where you were walking along the woods road, mentioned several critters that could be making noises, in Kentucky, Bigfoot, etc. ---- why were you out there without your dog? You have the dog --- use him!! Have him stay rather close by if you're feeling a little spooky. Turn around and go back to camp if you're uneasy and dog not with you. If you are often afraid, learn how to carry a concealed gun.
Wow .. Trust your Instincts and I'm sure you do. Your beloved Animal Knows!! What ever it is? This is better then any scary movie that I have watched .. Lol' !! I just subscribed to your channel. (Seen you off of Bob's) Watched several of your video's. Love your Attitude / Personality. Splendid !! Your Video's are tops. Excellent Channel, Carolyn !
Beware RV'r Beware .. 😯 😅 😁
Actually if you feel like your being watched, it probably is a bigfoot. Quite a common feeling among bigfoot researchers when your in their area. If you hear wood knocks or smell bad oders, that is bigfoot.
I am a new subscriber to your Channel I do enjoy watching your little videos but I have lived with animals all my life and if your dog doesn't like in the area maybe you should trust your dog's instincts and be a little less trustworthy of the area of yourself
Being from eastern Ky, I have never heard of this "hillbilly beast" you mention. And I have lived here all my life, almost 40 years. Your dog was definitely on guard, and seemed a bit intimidated by whatever was out there. Do be careful traveling out there! God bless!
U be careful on your travels. There are so many ugly folks.God gave u inside feelings for a reason.I love your videos.Just be careful. And put your solar on the roof of your RV.Im praying for your safety. If u have to FUCK THEM UP.🙂
He definitely on alert. Please be careful when you see him acting this way. If your agains fire arms then get bear mace and a stun gun. Your a lady alone remember that... plus no 9ne will know you have a fire arm.
If you were in Eastern KY you were in my neck of the woods. I use to ride horses a lot and I never ran into Big foot, doesn't mean he isn't there. lol Hope you enjoyed your visit to KY, it is a beautful state. Would love to join you !
First time poster,. Planning full-time RV life in a year or two. Have been checking out your videos for month or so and love them and your attitude on life. Thanks for sharing. Now back to this video. My first thought was a cat (mountain lion). I think Kentucky started seeing cats around 2014 but don't know where and where you are. After a little googling cats aren't prone to stalk humans but not sure about your dog. If you ever hear this noise (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pxo8X5uIWRE) at night around camp you'll know for sure. The one time I heard this was in wild life refuge in SW WA alone but in a car mind you and couldn't get out of the park fast enough just feeling the heebie-jeefies even though I was safe in a car. Enjoy the video but as you said on a recent one if you need to take some time take some time.
Carolyn,,look at therm app on ebay, its a thermal image camera that connects to your cell phone, it will show any heat day or night, look at videos by alan yu in vancover canada, no one can lurk out there with out being seen, I live in rual area, ive had invasions, vandilism, and damage, I allways pay very close attention to my dogs, even if a squrill were in a tree you would see it with a thermal camera,,,its a bit pricey, $1,000ish but security is priceless, as soon as I can get the money im buying one,,,
looking at ALAN YU videos in vlog 342 he does an unboxing and demos it in all his video now, he publishes a video every day, very interesting content,,,,there are cheaper thermal cameras but in my view this is the one to buy,,stay alert and be aware, watch your dog he knows whats going on,,,
and since your useing the creepy music I suspect you are unsure out there alone, one more suggestion to carry on your belt,,,zap blast knuckles extream, I have one, you dont want to be on the recieving end of this clenched fist weapon,,,,
Carolyn don't forget to trust your instinct, that is not good if you feel something is watching you, then your dog acts strange maybe it is time to move on and not chance it, it is totally your decision but I hope you are safe. I know you try and not fear but women knows something does not feel right.
The footstep thing is another telltale Bigfoot sign...like it's right behind you. Some say they can move around in front of you without being seen. I don't know this stuff; only echoing the many experiences. Also it is said they use infrasonic tones to cause fear....did you get serious goosebumps?
Hi Carolyn. I like using Textured Vegetable Protein (TVP) You just add hot water, and soak for a seconds. Basically like instant oatmeal. When done, it mimics crumbled hamburger.
Also, TVP is dehydrated, sold in bulk. It's only about .99 cents a pound. You can add taco spices to it, and it's like hamburger, with more protein
Always trust your instincts. Your body is more aware of your surroundings than you think and the dog definitely knows. At 8:29 you can see he's on edge and something is out there just from how he acts. Could be a black bear, bobcat, mountain lion or something else.
