You’ve probably never heard of diatomaceous earth, a type of powder that comes from fossilized seaweed.
However, your chances of having eaten it are quite large, due to it’s amazing industrial uses.
Many grains are stored with this powder due to the fact that it’s a natural pesticide and insecticide, and doesn’t harm us.
Diatomaceous earth is not only harmless to us, but it has also started becoming a popular supplement due to its numerous health benefits.
In this video you are going to learn about diatomaceous earth, it's uses and health benefits.
But before consuming this supplement, some precautions are needed. The diatomaceous earth chosen should be food grade, because this form is considered safe for consumption.

Thank you for another interesting video. May I correct you, DME is not made from fossilized seaweed.
It is made from the fossilized remains of tiny, aquatic organisms called diatoms. Their skeletons are made of a natural substance called silica. Over a long period of time, diatoms accumulated in the sediment of rivers, streams, lakes, and oceans.
Make sure you buy food grade DME.
It's great around the house but make SURE that it says it's the indoor formula. It's kills roaches, silverfish and a lot of other pests and most importantly it's not harmful to pets and kids even if they lick it off their fur. But again, make SURE it's the indoor formula. You can buy it at nurseries, feed stores and usually at the garden center of places like Wal-Mart. But make sure you have it written down because as I found out, most people have never heard of it so they'll tell you that they don't carry it. Just look around for yourself and you'll have better luck.
I buy DE by the kilo. I use food grade for my dog and feed grade for my plants. I add half tsp to his food everyday for 2 weeks to deworm. I also massage the powder into his coat after bathing him, but only after he's totally dry. It keeps fleas n ticks away and he doesn't smell bad. I haven't tried it for myself yet. It would have been nice if the video included dosing information for humans.
Diatomaceous Earth (tea) Food Grade
For me the most effective way to have a balanced daily dose.
19 oz mason jar/more or less no science involved.
Fill with pure water
Add 1 or 2 tablespoons food grade diatomaceous earth.
shake contents and keep in fridge. That's it!
(Does not) spoil/it purifies water.
The diatomaceous (tea) is ready when you are.
I add xylitol to further benefit teeth/swish and sip through out the day.
note: The DE will settle to the bottom of the jar.
Over a few days a nice clay will adhere to the bottom of jar.
This clay used as poultice/can be packed around problem teeth & gums.
note: Add additional water as needed. If you feel a stronger mix is desired
simply shake the contents just before removing the lid to take a sip.
It is energizing so I prefer (not) to enjoy this tea in evening hours.
